Islam › Re: Can We Have An E-arabic Class On Nairaland? by deols(f): 6:31pm On May 23, 2013
mutaalim: What that is involve is more than online of a thing online is just for revision and asking question e.g ضرب حسنَ المعلمُ(The teacher beats Hassan)
ضرب = beat (Verb)

حسنَ= Hassan (Object)

المعلمُ= Teacher (Subject)

from the above i could able to identify the subject and the object but the object came before the subject, i could understand that because because in arabic the subject (doer) has the harak domu while the object takes fatia even the subject is also a definite article because of the alif and lam. well it is simple but ...............

Regards
this sounds interesting but you need to complete it to help our understanding.

I wrote a reply some days ago but didnt deliver sad.

I think learning arabic here is a good idea. Nothing is too little. We all can help each other with the little we know.

@tbaba said something about modern versus Quran arabic. I don't understand what that means.

The arabic of the Quran(fus'a) has always been the official arabic. The unofficial is diverse from country to country and tribe to tribe that I doubt that it can simply be referred to as 'modern' arabic.

aieromon: www.inlovewithandroid.com/android-usb-storage-full-problem.html

Its most likely a cache error.
The recommendation I got from the site for a cache problem is to download an app to help in clearing the cache but even the app wouldn't install after being downloaded.

Thanks for your time.

4llerbuntu: @deols are u on stock rom?

if u are its odexed. that means each time u install an application a little file with a .odex extension is created in /system/app

at times when u then uninstall any app the .odex does not get removed. and it stops you from reinstalling that app or some other stating yoi are out of space.

unfortunately the solutions i can give u requires u to be rooted

easiest way is google and install lucky patcher.

anytime u open it and it scans the fone it detects the orphaned apps and asks if u want to delete. delete and issue solved.

second way is install a file manager with root access.

go to /system/app look through the list of apps there u r likely to notice the orphaned .odex there. they wont have a corresponding apk. delete them.
I searched for the orphaned.odex but didnt find it.And I cannot install the patcher nor the manager. Thanks..iappreciate

onegig: Anything for my favourtie mod. cheesy

Follow what 4llerubuntu said, but if that does not solve it.

Then best thing you should do is to Copy anything personal to your computer or another location and do a full reset.

Here's how to reset everything

Power off the N7000 Galaxy Note. Press and hold both Volume Up + Home+power on.

In the recovery menu select wipe data factory reset with Volume button. Press power to confirm.
All data will be lost!

Or perform a factory reset.
To perform a factory data reset. In Idle mode, open the application list and select "Settings"- "Privacy"- Factory data reset" -"Reset phone"- Erase everything.

It will reboot. But please backup your data before doing this o. "Peace"
This appears like the only thing I can do. I'll get a back up and reset ASAP.

Thanks for making me your favourite mod :-)

mapet: Do you think you give jobs for giving sakes? Some of you with ridiculous submissions at times...... Even in foreign countries women are truck drivers, loggers, train drivers, in the Military, pilots etc. The fundamental thing is that they are gainfully employed to make the society a better place.

The average train driver in UK earns over 25k-30k pounds per year (some average bankers in Nigeria don't earn that). So talking about not wanting relatives in "what situation" is plain thoughtless.
As thoughtful as you are, the only reason you can give is, people do it in developed countries. Can you think of how their femininity may not affect their job and vice versa? Or can you think of a solution to the pregnancy issue I mentioned?
Health › Re: Can Eating Yams Really Give You Twins? by deols(f): 2:17pm On May 18, 2013
I love twin babies especially if they are identical. But you have to know that the risks associated with birth increase with twin pregnancies.

All the best with the yams(Someone told me it has More to do with lafun than other variants of yam produce). grin grin

Do you have any proof for that? That the message makes a difference?
Politics › Re: Lagos Recruits 70 Female Truck-Drivers by deols(f): 1:24pm On May 18, 2013
The government should give them better jobs. Many people saying good move wouldn't want their female relatives in this situation.
Imagine any of them being pregnant and driving trucks.
Nairaland General › Re: 10 Myths About Introverts by deols(f): 1:20pm On May 18, 2013
ItsModella: Your definition of introversion and extroversion is really messed up. Do you really think all extroverts are cut out for having real fun? Sue whoever told you that because you've been deceived. You sir, do not even know who an extrovert is.

My last word to you. I can't keep going on with someone who doesn't even understand the basic traits of an introvert and an extrovert.
You really don't need to go on with this guy. After reading through the thread, I realised many are confused. You alone can have the perfect understating of whom you are. It should not matter what anyone thinks.
Nairaland General › Re: 10 Myths About Introverts by deols(f): 1:08pm On May 18, 2013
Many introverts may have found succor on NL, reason many are claiming introverts. Like some missing actions or a void being filled by an online personality.

Some other people may have found the characteristics of the introverts appealing therefore, deciding to be that and declaring it on here.

So many others would get confused by the op, not sure of where they belong.

While these may be ten myths bout introverts.it doesn't make all exclusive to them nor all inclusive with every introvert.

Logicboy03: And this is a mod?

Ready to call people bigots for no just reason? So if someone doesnt agree to this flawed article, the person is a bigot
Comprehension problem, I see. I didn't justify bigotry and neither did I call anyone a bigot.

Chukskalidon: You called Boko Haram a corruption? I was hoping you could make a unique logic from your fellow brothers. If you called Boko Haram a corruption, then you're also giving your religion a name tag. Maybe this is your own way commiting Jihad.... I like it though but next time be more logical. You're not making any sense to me.....thank you.
You are getting the point he made wrong. BoKo haram and people like them have made a manipulation and their interpretation is a corruption.

There is no need prolonging this unnecessary argument especially when it has nothing to do with the op. People who have experienced that attest to it.
Islam › Re: What Does Islam Say About Given Alms Or Sadaqa To The Pagans? by deols(f):
my sis asked d same question when she saw this pix. The thought is that they possibly would use the money for their religious activities. In that case, it would be wrong to give it to them.

But if it is simply charity, then there is nothing wrong with it.

But I think we need tintingz to explain his basis for asking the Question.

victorazy: Aunty! Am not Rafhell! I just wanted to correct that guy pointing finger to another person. If Nigerians love one another irrespective of religion, issue of BH will never exist. If u meet a luvin muslim u will be tempted to become a muslim. So what am my saying, we shld stop pointing fingers to Holy books, absence of love is the problem.
Even Islam preaches that you are good to your neighbours and everyone else. It is important but not the only important thing.

And you called me Aunty shocked I hope you are only ten o or else I will vex. grin

ril19: it is rather a daunting thing to believe that some part or islam, and clerics inclusive, religiously and vehemently preach and advocate violence, while another part of same islam is opposed to that course. Truth be told, the former adherents of islam have increasingly grown violent that many people accross the world now (perhaps) wrongfully view islam as a violent relion. In my opinion, the duty still rests on islam to prove otherwise to the world. Else, that view of them may be hard to let go of.
You are right about how Islam is perceived. If I am not a Muslim, I'd probably be wary og Muslims as well.

You said the onus is on Muslims to prove otherwise and the Op, like many other Muslims is doing just that. Do you think there is a better way than this form of education?

The op has played a part, the readers can play theirs- agree or not. Eventually, you are responsible for Yourself.

This is interesting o. That picture is a rib breaker.

I want the party after burials to end. For that one, they can tax. I never understood the need to celebrate after someone's death like you are happy they died.

For every other thing, ibeg. Nigerians aren't happy with d existing Nigerian situation and d government is now planning to end the one reason people hope for the next weekend??

Now ur denying Islam! D guy (Rafhell) made the point (Love of God and Human is d ultimate) and that's why Jesus came cuz love covereth all sins (absence of love is the corruption and killing for Alah).
The guy Rafhell, who is possibly you, made no point at all. How well has he practised that 'love for his neighbour'. The first post hidden on here is by him. You can imagine what his post is.

Lilimax: Honestly speaking I like the way Southern Moslems practice their religion. They are very peaceful and tolerant.
How come the Northern Moslems are so violent huh.
I think they need to be re-educated undecided
There is absolutely no difference between a Northern and a southern Muslim as you want to put it.

People are either good or bad, knowledgeable or not, reasonable or not.
Christianity Etc › Re: Ten Reasons Why We Shouldn't Fear Islam by deols(f):
Everything said on here has always been known to be so. It is good hearing someone else say them.

That the Op posted it is surprising. It is quite heart warming to seea part of the populace not being bigots.

Like Kails said, it is more about brotherhood.

You make it seen like all I wrote isn't realistic. But I have seen people who do these and do it well. In fact, I think encouraging them is a good thing.

It may not work in all cases doesn't mean it won't.
