Pennywise: I would say this visited is motivated by dubious/suspicious intent. Jews beware. These are not the brothers you have been looking for.
What do you all want?

When they do good, you say they are being dubious. I know you like the boko haramites better.

Afam4eva: I agree with the fact that Yorubas live in what looks like a pseudo-urbann setting but these places are usually not planned like you posited.
What makes you think they are not planned?
That they don't suit your thoughts of what cities/towns should be like doesn't make them unplanned. Ever heard of town planning?

And when you spoke of Ibadan, I knew it was out of ignorance.
Nairaland General › Re: I Wonder How Those Street Beggars/ Cripples Dey Take Get Belle Oh For This 9ja by deols(f): 12:40pm On May 29, 2013
Many of the mad women on the street get raped. The government should do something about it.

I saw a girl who can't be more than 16 some days ago and just beside her was a child. I felt very sad for her.

This is unfortunate.

It must have been hard for her. what happens when she dies?

I think this is better than him walking around and endangering other people's lives.
Health › Re: Eye glasses vs contact lens by deols(f): 11:46pm On May 28, 2013
Even when you use contacts, you need to have glasses.

The contacts except for the extended wear arent to be worn for too long. You are not to sleep with them on & are so not good while travelling.

contacts are fashionable, good for active periods but as said above, are difficult to put on, transmit infections and more expensive to manage.

You see differently with both. I prefer the contacts. Objects appear smaller than they are with glasses on. I have Myopia as well.
Islam › Re: Muslims Are In Hellfire Pending Resurrection Day? by deols(f): 11:38pm On May 28, 2013
some arguments are unnecessary. These christians post half truths and have made up their mind not to believe.

The hadith has been quoted. What is said is very clear.

The Muslims would pass over the thin thread, their speed in accordance with their level of righteousness.

All Muslims will enter aljannah but not all Muslims are safe from hell. All of these are according to your deeds and the favour of Allah over you.

Any Muslim reading this would just have to work harder on their deen so as not to be one of those who would enter hell before making it into paradise.

May Allah save us from hell.
Islam › Re: If 72 Virgins Are Giving To Muslim Men In Paradise(????)..whats For The Women? by deols(f): 1:07pm On May 28, 2013
about monogamy,

I doubt that you'd want something you don't need. If there wont be jealousy, you may not desire monogamy that much undecided

and if you would want it, I believe you will get it.

or maybe be a man and have houris grin
Islam › Re: If 72 Virgins Are Giving To Muslim Men In Paradise(????)..whats For The Women? by deols(f): 1:03pm On May 28, 2013
about the testimony
Some things you agree to first because Allah says so and his messenger revealed it.

and talking about the nature of women and their sensitive nature, requiring two women to speak in the same tone is just so we can achieve Justice. It is not a bad idea at all.
Islam › Re: If 72 Virgins Are Giving To Muslim Men In Paradise(????)..whats For The Women? by deols(f): 11:41am On May 28, 2013
@Op, please provide the proof for 72 virgins.

fellis: There is no gender equality for muslim women on earth and unfortunately the situation is going to be the same for muslim women in paradise.
Actually, I don't see the inequality. I believe in the paradise. I believe in the satisfaction every one would get.

Jealousy, hatred, etc would not be there.

You should not use your earthly feelings to judge this. I used to think that way too. But I don't see that anymore.

If you want something special, to differentiate you from other women, it would be by your deeds. For example, there are many gates in paradise, if you fast often, You might get a special gate.

If you work really hard and you are good enough, there is the al arashi shade for you. If your solaat is good, you have passed thr first test, etc

Islam › Re: Why Are Muslim Women Mistreated So Much? by deols(f): 5:33pm On May 25, 2013
bettymafy: Please, let me understand this. . . Does Islam really prohibit women from travelling alone? If yes, what happens when she has to go on official trip and there is no male to accompany her?

Is the prohibition on driving Islamic or just the Saudi's culture? I ask because I see muslim women drive in Nigeria.
Yes. Islam does prohibit women from travelling without a mahram(a male relative whom they can not marry).

The prohibition on driving, to my knowledge has no basis in Islam.

shymexx: What are you on about? undecided

Nation of Islam was created for black people and their doctrine is different from the Arab's Islam.

So any black person that prefers Islam needs to gravitate towards that, and leave the Arabs alone.
Islam is one and universal. The nation of Islam is misguidance.

Maybe your Saudi is different from mine.

Osama was Saudi you know? why didn't they allow him stay. why did he have to flee?
Their beheading was carried out on behalf of Muslims.
If their actions were motivated to call a response against what the perceived as injustice to Muslims then it is more than appropriate that Muslims should denounce their actions as unholy.
But that won't happen. You know why? Because islam is all about violence.
We have denounced. and what do we get in return? a bigger request.

enough is enough.

shymexx: If some of these people prefer Islam. I think this is where Nation of Islam has to come in and educate them about the Islam for black people. And make them useful to the black community, rather than slaves to Arabs.
Don't even bring your baseless theories again.

very ridiculous! angry cry
What good could possibly come out of being converted by a convict moslem preacher? The mere fact that they're preaching from prison presupposes that they'd have an intense hatred for western society and their gov'ts; and that hatred is bound to be transferred to their young and impressionable converts.....converts who may likely feel abandoned and isolated from society, and would see 'islam' as the new family that offers them that sense of belonging and 'family' that they lacked on the outside.
Islam has a lot to offer them.Even at inception, Islam was attractive to the people at the lowest social strata. It preaches brotherhood and fills voids.

They get a sense of belonging which maybe lacking from elsewhere.

Islam is just what a downtrodden needs to get up and the humbling pie for the mighty
