Politicians ![]() Can we just talk sports? |
@ Poster I was on my feet for about 1 minute clapping for you. Good analysis. We now play the type of soccer that we don't enjoy. Imagine the effect of the EPL on the raw natural 2005 talent of Mikel Obi |
NIGERIA Enyeama: 6 - Had very little to do throughout but was alert when called upon to deny Yebda's two efforts. Shittu: 6.5 - Nigeria were well organised all evening repelling anything that came at them with ease. The Premier League player didn't have much to concern himself with in a solid defensive unit. Odiah: 7 - Had a good game bombing up the flank playing in some quality crosses and linking up well with the influential Kanu. Taiwo: 7 - Always a danger with his free-kicks which he delivers with venom. Almost opened the scoring with one such effort in the first half in a good performance. Apam: 6.5 - Solid and dependable. Uche: 5.5 - Had the ball in the back of the net late in the first half but had strayed offside. Should have scored moments later but decided to pick out a team-mate instead of having a go himself. Needs to be more selfish. Olofinjana: 6.5 - Along with Kaita they easily won the midfield battle keeping Algerian chances to a minimum. Sani Kaita: 6.5 - Didn't allow anything to get past him. Then again there wasn't much in that department from the opposition. Kanu: 8 - If this is his swansong from international football he certainly went out in style. Sprayed the ball around with ease, showing some wonderful touches and almost scored with a chance he created for himself in the first half. Got a great reception when he was withdrawn late on and has given his coach a dilemma for the World Cup. Nsofor: 7 - Took his goal well when he did something the game lacked in abundance - ran at players. Chanced his arm with some long range shooting and was a livewire when he got the ball. His low point was missing an open goal from five yards but he made amends with his winner a few minutes later. Obasi: 5 - Didn't seem interested at times when Kanu tried to play him in with some long balls. Taken off late on. Substitutes Martins: 6 - Hussled and harried as we've come to expect from him. Went close to scoring after getting on the end of a cross which Zemmamouche fumbled. Mekusxyz:I can only imagine that you are a funny guy. Please don't tell me you really mean all these tribalism in your thought processes. |
It depends on the societal norm where you are. However, in Nigeria, all you need to do is let her know that you're ready to play ball with a girl (like her) ready to play ball with you , without necessarily directly referring to her. However , you can clearly infer. ( Naija girls are fond of accusing guys of getting the wrong signal, so you have to be sure that you have a real Green light) Also, create scenarios where you guys will be alone, talk to her and look straight into her eyes; don't jump by touching. If you really have a green light, She would have been craving for the touch. Not touching her helps build the momentum for the right time for it to happen Being alone together, in close proximity is KEY. Then wait for it to happen( or try to make it happen) |
