PARIS (Reuters) - France's interior minister wants to add 23 countries to a list of places whose air travelers face tighter security measures, in response to the botched bombing of a U.S.-bound airliner last month. World | France In comments published in Le Figaro newspaper on Wednesday, Brice Hortefeux did not specify which countries he wanted to add to a list that now includes only Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Algeria and Mali. The paper speculated Nigeria would feature, given that the suspected bomber was from there. The United States has already added it to its own watch-list, drawing angry protests from the Nigerian government. Read more source: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6051SY20100106 |
Mpele:Hey Bro, This is exactly what sets up apart from other Africans. We dare to dare. This is the reason so many Africans, hate ,love and WILL never understand us. They are just simple obsessed about anything NIGERIA. Ride on , it is a familiar Psychology trait from other Africans |
Ikengawo:It is really pathetic. Most Nigerians consciously or unconsciously seek approval from the white man for any action. It is in our subconscious, that is why we bring a "white man" to, construct a gutters, coach super eagles , fly our planes, manage our projects ,manage NITEL,advice our governments, drill our oils etc. |
valatar:I hope the military is getting ready, ![]() |

Jonathan need the support of some serving and retired military men. He is between the devil and the deep blue sea. This situation(with sick president) makes the presidency vulnerable to the military boys |

XKZ:Bro, This is a very funny appraisal. Between the said time, have you ever seen any BRT on these same route EMPTY?. You probably do not have an idea of the number of passangers moving across the bridge at this time, obviously BRT alone can't everyone |
I wonder the kind of security the US has. A cheap intels was passed on to the US authorities and NOTHING came out of it. Yet that waste money wire tapping and flying satellites around the world. Just some weeks ago, a state dinner organised for Obama was gate crashed. I bet it that Oshodi bouncers would have done better The American security system has to be overhauled, otherwise ,of what use is the intelligence they gather? |
Time wasters Focusing on the small Picture and Leaving the BIG picture. Shame |

Why Argentina AGAIN. Are they not tired of us? |
Why would the NMA think the Mr President would want to receive medical treatment at home ? Do they want him to be on a dialysis session ; with the risk on NEPA striking? Or fuel scarcity to prevent the Generator from running ? Or the MD to proceed on strike due to unpaid allowances? Agagu said so many years ago that he "could not do check up on his heart in any Nigerian hospital". The hospitals & Health centers are meant for us Nigerians, whose lives are of no significance. After all we are over 150 million in this category . |
Bro, Good to hear that everything is working fine in Ghana. That is splendid news. We even acknowledge that as Nigerians and hope to emulate you in many ways Companies moving to Ghana , Good news Power Supply everyday, Good news Oil discovery, Good news But what baffles me is the insecurity of most Ghanaians. While acknowledging that you are leading, focus on striving forward rather than ALWAYS comparing yourselves with Nigeria. Nigeria is at it lowest now, but when/if we get it right we will move at the speed of our bottled potential. Charlie congrats A proud Nigerian |
