The truth has been spoken ! ! He who have ears let them hear He who have eyes let them read The problem is and can never be tribalism; but selfish individualism |

pcicero:You can say that again!! |
jidobaba:Yeah, that true, Just like I look at my mobile phone now and look back in those days when you beg NITEL official to give you "ring tone" . Or use your car to carry NITEL ladder to fix their line OR having to pay for their SWITCH station ![]() |
dinggle:The benefits of speaking French + English gives the speaker ability to 1. communicate with 28%-30% of the world population 2. Interact comfortably in over 80% of AFRICA For a business man this is awesome opportunities. For an employee, more opportunities!! I don't understand why/how this is an insult |
bettes:Good Thinking !!. You said it all |
The importance of adopting French as a second language can not be over emphasized. I will even advocate that having a P7 ( or whatever the equivalent now) should be a requirement into gaining admission into our universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. The advantages are numerous 1. Security: Nigeria is surrounded by French neighbors 2. Business Opportunities: Nigerian companies can easily move beyond our bordes, notice that Nigerian companies skip Togo and Benin rep and invest in Ghana 3. Job opportunities for our Nigerian graduates: Taking advantage of the Ecowas citizenship ; our graduates can apply for jobs beyond our border There are some many other advantages |
All I can say is WaaaaaOOOhhh ![]() I hope in some 20 years time, we won't be organizing fund raising to pay his rent in Ikorodu |
Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi could be in line for a shock World Cup call-up - with Nigeria. Ameobi, 28, has represented England at Under-21 level but is eligible to play for Nigeria after being born and spending the first six years of his life in the African country. Nigerian FA chiefs have tried to call him up in the past and Ameobi admits he would jump at the chance to represent the country at next summer’s World Cup and the African Nations Cup. Does he deserve to play for Nigeria? Is he playing football at the level we want our world cup players to play? I still don't understand all these ratings. All stolen money are taken to Switzerland ( or other parts of Europe And America) ; If their is NO safe haven for the stolen money; maybe corruption would be less than what we have now |
@OP What is the meaning of being "due for British passport". I guess it better using the phrase you "have met the minimum requirements for applying for the British passport". Anyway Good one. I have seen many "British/America" stopped at the entry point to cross check the authenticity of their claimed Nationality, while the Nigerian passport sails through easily. |
We need some moderation in the political section. There so many stray topics nowadays |
nkb:You can say that again. Oliseh and Amokachi married from thesame family and none of these marriages is still on now |
Hi fellow, This is politics section. , you'll get more patronage on this topic in the sports section |

Imagine this weekend Headlines : Nigeria qualifies for 2010 world cup Nigeria win U-17 tourney yet again |
After this game, OSAZE should go on leave. He should not come back until the 10 cows are disbanded |

The question is Do we deserve to qualify? |
Probable solution. Between 70-80% of the cars that cause traffic towards/on the Island are drive by 8-5 workers. Take note that, there are no traffic on Saturdays towards/on the island. Assumption: It is assumed that the shopping on weekdays = saturday , therfore, traffic is caused by cars driven by 8-5 workers. Note that, these 8-5 cars are parked around 6-8.30 am and started between 4.30-7pm : ( These are the periods with traffic congestion) The question is, How do we get these 8-5 cars off the road. 1. Repair ALL intra city routes on the Island 2. Create bus routes on the Island,i.e, Marina, V.I and Ikoyi and commission buses plying each route number 3. Scrap ALL the govt approved car parks ( i.e. Car parks approved for the companies) 4. Built a LIMITED number of commercial car parks in mapped out regions of the Island ( Charging about N1000/ hour) With these most guys will drop their cars( being unable to afford N8,000 per day to park) and join the public transport ; which will take them to all routes on the Island between 8am - 5pm. |

Beer parlour journalism. Even if he was sick upstairs, hospitals are meant to cure all ailments including psychosis, |
I guess all the ethnic champions keep forgetting that there about 250 tribes in this country. All you hear is about 1%- 1.8% of all the 250 tribes. |
emiemi:That's true, I should have put "for now" on my post. |
Good move, You never know until you're a victim. I left my former apartment because of a noisy mosque. Their speaker was directly shooting into my room. At some point, i was almost running mad. In order not to run kolo, i moved my family into another area. I made sure there was NO church or mosque in the vicinity |
