public transport does not need to be free.
We need qualitative public transport. Then Scrap all parking spaces in V.I, IKEJA or better still pay N10,000 except public transport ( qualitative) , then traffic will reduce drastically in lagos.

Traffics in lagos is caused by worked, whos usually carry there car to the office , park and close by 5pm. If you get an alternative for this set of people , then traffic in lagos will be a thing of the past

I think the idea of short service is to serve the nation for a short time. I guess it is close to the idea of reserve troops in the US. Short service men by defination are supposed to have a short stinct with the military and go back to civilian lives. If you decide to convert to regular officers then it's a different ball game entirely.
If not for the high rate of unemployment in Nigeria i would have love to do it for 5 or 6 years and go back to my JOB.( though i am still considering it anyway)

I think this is the time for us ( africans) to have revolutionary leaders. This is our time .
In UK have you noticed that immigrants are taking over the service sector of their economy. I guess they have over pampered their present generation that they will be a dissapointment in the nex 2 or 3 decades.

The Education that is helping them is what million of africans have aquired , but our main problem now in AFRICA especially nigeria is Leadership and followership.
