Not if the court says otherwise. |
No, that the judgement should go in favour yaradua ![]() |
Threading with caution is important for stability'!,!. It's a gradual process. Things don't change over night, change management is very difficult in our type of country. Look beyond the theory and be practical. |
Sky Blue:@ Skyblue, Yaradua is the only president we have had so far that listens to court orders and ensures that they are followed to the letter. Throwing him out now might lead to another monster coming into power, thereby eroding the growing confidence and stance of the judiciary. It will take some time for BIG men to realise that the law equates us all. Yaradua being there after tuesday will help this our new found tradition to sink into our hearts as a nation. This not to say i support rigging but i am just hoping that he WINS in court for the reason stated above. |
rubbish, let remi oyeyemi take the lead. Instead of using our diversity to our advantage, one primitive guy is wrting that youruba should break out. |
I think this just sending a message that the judiciary is gradually taking it's roots in Ngeria democracy. It's now left for the politicians to play the game by the rules. Politician should now know that they need to get our votes before assuming offices and for them to get our vote, they need to deal with real issues. Though democracy is a slow process but it is gradually flushing out 'the nigerian' way of doing thing. I hope that yaradua wins on tuesday in the court, so that he would be able to strengthen the process a little bit more . |
Off this thread dicuss real people like Obama, clinton, yaradua etc etc ![]() |
I am not stopping her , but she should not use her privileged position to talk to her gullible followers by yarning DUST |
I am a man of my own mind. |
who is oprah? One of the tools of the western powers , i guess, hissss |
nuzo:The answer is obvious. Our fathers did make a mess of the situation foe 40 years or so BUT the challenge before us is , what legacy do we leave for our own children and grand children. If they made mistakes, are we not doing thesame now!!!! or even worse? We just have to stop crying over spilt milk and face the challenge of nation building. It's now clear to us that individual money acquisition can't solve the problem.,.,.,. we need to collectively make ourselves comfortable. No matter how much you steal , you will still probably fly on nigerian airlines, travel on nigerian roads, make call on nigerian mobile phones, use nigerian power supply etc |
Obj's fineboy ADC (1999-2003) died in an auto crash on our ever unreliable roads. These useless roads claims tens of lives everyday. Also the is no emergency services to even help road accident victims. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=103709

@Delta007 You have succeded in chasing this poster out of Nairaland |
The truth is that by now all this spent ( don't really know where they were spent def NOT for nigerian) old lay about, should just find somewhere to go and sit. The banking industry is a clear example between , what THAT (pre independence) generation has to offer and what the present generation is offering. These men have tried and failed. Electricity generation is not rocket science. You do not need research to generate or distribute energy. It all about getting gas to power steam turbines and that is all!!!!! Get transmission line to get power from the power stattion to distribution zones we'll all have electricity. It's sad sha. very sad. We nigerian will not forgive theses men. They are a set of wasted generation! |
jessica, I think you should need your book more!!! |
That is a very unfair rating. Nigeria should be close to 60th in the world now!!!!! |
