Prices of foodstuffs should never be dependent on the strength of our currency unless we're importing them. If we grow most of our foods, nothing should concern the price of rice and beans with the value of the naira relative to the dollar.

It's not a rebellion. They basically made the job easier for the opposition. I see no sense in absence as a form of rebellion when no one is stopping you from voicing your concern. He could have simply be at the plenary that day to counter whatever he wants, instead of disturbing our peace now. It's a fact that the senate met the 2/3rd requirement, so it's not anybody's business if some people decides to leave their jobs for those present.
