It's a job, because someone is at least paying you monthly. NYSC is not compulsory. You can decide not to go if you don't want to work in Nigeria. It's as simple as that.
When you're paying someone monthly, you can decide to practice the freedom of speech and after speech ethic if they call you terrible person. As far as NYSC guidelines are concerned, you don't have any public opinion regarding what the government does or doesn't within the 1 year.
I'm an ex-corps member and I don't think anyone will have any issues or threaten me if I such what she posted.
Since Lagos is smelling, I'd like that NYSC redeploy her to Ogoja where she's from.

Things got generally more expensive, not like a surge like it was in Nigeria. I can speak to Egypt and Rwanda. Things got more expensive in the last two years. I wonder how Rwandan Franc managed to be of higher value than naira. They import virtually everything in that country.
They tend to pay better than in Nigeria though. I used to earn an equivalent of N800k monthly for a 4 hours a week part time job on campus. I guess that explains the cost of living, especially in the capital city

Don't even go there. When it comes to cost of living in Africa, Nigeria is actually learning where most countries dey. 12.5kg gas cylinder that's less than 80k in Nigeria goes for almost 150k in Rwanda. Monthly rent in a semi middle class area is equivalent of 350k. Everything is expensive and the taxes are higher than in 9ja too. The only difference is you their government is not you chop I chop. No favoritism and public servants carry out their duties without fear of intimidation.
I don't see how high cost living is a measure of anything good economically.
