Politics › Re: What Does The North Has To Show For Over 35years Of Leading Nigeria? by DerideGull(m): 6:25pm On Dec 04, 2013
1025: @op, i am from imo state.
the northerners could have ruled for 300 years but don't forget, military is not a type of govt and the easterners introduced military govt in nigeria but the northerners took advantage - i stand to be corrected.
after the death of Abacha, there was a new arrangement mostly between the northerners that brought a yorubaman to power in 2007. this yorubaman did first and second and even seek for a third. you and i saw how what most of us will call natural course cut short the first tenure of an hausa man who according to them deserved the presidency then. my brother, the only way to true peace is justice. if yar adua died in the course of his presidency, the law says the vp should take over of which nigerians even the yorubas notable among them is Pastor Tunde Bakare worked for this to happen.
uncle, if we say the truth, yar adua is not the only hausa man and the hausas said it to our ears that yorubas did 8 years so they deserved their own 8 years but what happened?
u want to face the truth, in the heat of the moment, jonathan said it openly to nigerians that he wanted just a tenure - true or false? every nigerian tot he has a plan.
uncle, nigeria is not one and can never be but the only way to remain as it is will be AGREEMENT over who rules at what point.
jonathan is an ijaw man and he has enjoyed or is about enjoying 6 years as the president of nigeria - what about the igbos?
the problem nigeria is facing today is the pdp confusion problems.
today we have an ASUU that is saying, we had agreement in 2009 and the govt is not honouring it(pdp). pdp had agreement of rotational presidency and vincent ogbulafor the then chairman confirmed it and was sacked. nwodo said it and was sacked. the hausas have resorted to the language they can speak. WHEN MY RIGHT IS MOLESTED, WICKEDNESS RESULTS.
until those in power learn to respect agreements and say what they mean, we will continue in this condition and these evil men know too well that u and i are the recipients so they are not worried at all.
if yoruba man can do 8 years, i supported the idea of the hausas doing 8 years too. if hausa man cannot do 8 years, then jonathan must not do 8 years too. why is it that pdp keeps changing like chameleon?
when this issue of boko haram was it its early stage, nigerians said their minds and told jonathan to move in fast, he rather told us that he is not a general but today, he is acting a general to ASUU.
what happens to thjose in govt stealing the country dry?
don't let these criminals deceive u because no one can deceive me with these lies. now that jonathan is president, the belief has turn to; THE PRESIDENT CAN COME FROM ANYWHERE but when it is in the hands of the northerners, ARE THEY BORN TO RULE?
assuming u are from the eastern part of nigeria, CAN U POINT TO ONE OR TWO THINGS THE WHOLE REGION HAS BENEFITED FROM THIS GOVT SINCE 2009. if we cannot benefit when our own is the president, why are we fighting to be president then?
come this xmas, ppl will sleep on river niger bridge because of traffic and i ask u, HOW MUCH WILL THAT BRIDGE COST?
what are the benefits of rotational presidency? are we enjoying same too?
The above post displayed the idiocy commonly found among Nigerians that equally calls for tribal equilibrium when such paradox is out of context. If a Hausa or Fulani or Yoruba is killed because of corruption, it becomes imperative that one Igbo person must be killed whether he/she is corrupted or not. Simply because Yar Adua, a Fulani, died in the office, it becomes mandatory that another Fulani man or stiff from northern region must complete his term of office. What a political foolery.

Deluded fools can shove the Nigerian presidency, but all I want is Republic of Igbo land. It is absolute waste of time counting the number of fools who had led Nigeria and which part of the cesspit such goons were born.
Politics › Re: Sultan Of Sokoto Orders Immediate Release of Kogi Lecturer by DerideGull(m):
@OP

The moronic scamp who calls himself Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar Sa’ad III, should shut up his putrid mouth. Mr Muhammad Nazeef Yunus could be Boko Haram and the authorities should be allowed enough time to conclude their investigation.

After all, there are no outward marks as indicators of Boko Haram supporter. When a non-Muslim was arrested in connection with Boko Haram, this jackass never called the Nigerian government to release the fellow since the accused person was not a Muslim and did not even hail from northern region of Nigeria.

This is an example of culture of impunity that leads to dissentions in a given society. Does this ninny think Nigeria is a town of Sokoto?

arcbabe: The lagos state government should please get rid of those prostitutes in Obalende road, this is a road that is infront of an Army barracks and the officers are not doing anything possible to get rid of these girls,a road that connect people to other parts of the state is widely used by this call girls without the authorities doing anything about it. When will we learn to take up sensitive issues that are important to humans in this country? It is a shame that innocent children are passing through that road and for them to be seeing the shameless attitude of these prostitutes is something that is really bad. The road is looking unkept because of the way those prostitutes are misusing the road making life unbearable for law abiding citizens by not allowing the free flow of traffic in that area. Governor Raji Fashola should help out and consider the plea of people to get rid of those prostitutes on that road and the NDLEA should send their officials to help get rid of those smoking weed and other dangerous substance that are harmful to health, the shops should be destroyed because the girls are using it at night as brothel. Lagos state government should help get those prostitutes who don't want to look for legal means to earn money but choose to be selling their bodies out by standing on the streets of lagos and tarnishing the good name and works that the government have worked hard to achieve over the years. Eko Oni Baje Ooo!

Nafeesa AA: BOKO HARAM: TIME TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX...TIME TO LOOK INWARD....
I decided to scale down on my posts on sensitive security issues, but I have to rescind the decision when "Boko Haram" attacked a military formation in Maiduguri. I won't try to bore you with Intelligence Analysis, but rather go straight to the campaign of deceit being executed by those we have trusted with our national security and sovereignty.
Some of us are no fools... Some of us will forever be holding the Presidency culpable. First it was Jaji barrack bombing, and I maintained it was an "inside job". You can't gain access into any Military formation/barracks across the country without being subjected to serious security check. It either you have a "dependant card" or you state the name, rank, and quarters the personnel you're going to see resides. In some cases, you will have to place a call to the personnel and he has to identify himself, and you'll also show a valid identification before you are granted access...this was before "Boko Haram" came into being.

Due to increased activities of Boko Haram, barricade were mounted at almost, if not at all formations across the country. Other security measures were put in place...thing I can't list out in a bid nor to undermine their activities or compromise it. Now their is an affront on an Airforce Base in Maiduguri, Borno State. An attack a friend of mine in the Intelligence community described as "scandalous"
I will like to point out that this has "state sponsorship" written all over it and to buttress my assertion I will highlight some grey areas...

1. There's a State of Emergency rule in Borno state. Martial laws have been enacted, and there is restriction of movement due to several road blocks and massive deployment of troops across the state.

2. There was a claim by the JTF that they've chased the insurgents into the caves and mountains.

3. The emergency rule has just been extended, so the heavy military presence is still existing.

4. Security measures on the formations in the state is still very much in place....

With all these aforementioned points, the question begging for answers are; How were the insurgents able to get to the city from the mountains, beat all the security checks and road block, beat the security measures on the Airforce installation, get to the hanger, and destroy those planes?
QUESTIONS

1. Why was it that the planes that were destroyed were "decommissioned" crafts?

2. Where are their corpses? I mean corpses of the insurgents? Can we have access to it..?

3. Where are the pictures of the raided / bombed camps the army have been feeding us

4. Why did the army ignored Intel suggesting strange movement of people at the outskirts of maiduguri

5. Why was GSM network service restored immediately after the attack.

6. Why are heads not rolling

I have these guys didn't copy the "plot" in an earlier post of mine titled "IF I WERE IN THEIR SHOES" in which I suggested that an attack can be stage, in the case of the aviation minister. I think it is high time we looked inward... I guess it's time for the NSA to look inward...think outside the box... I make an audacious claim that the COAS.. Chief of Army Staff, that has the bulk of the Command staff and personnel in this operation has a case to answer....
To resolve the Boko Haram issue... I stand by this bold assertion of mine.
I do not give a ratas.s if you and the entire northern region of Nigeria are damnable fools. If you like, you can hold entire Nigeria responsible for Boko Haram and not only GEJ or Namadi Sambo. The reasons you proffered for demanding the sacking of COAS make you look more idiotic than when you shut your putrid mouth. I guess you have not heard of JTF or its connotation, olodo.

http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/nigeria-has-capacity-but-lacks-will-to-tackle-boko-haram-says-us-official/160826/

The Nigerian Army in reaction to last Sunday’s terror attacks on St. Andrews Military Protestant Church and Staff College, Jaji, Kaduna State, has removed the Commandant of the military facility, Air Vice Marshal IA Kure. Also removed from office was the Commander, Infantry, Maj. Gen MD Isah. The Director of Defence Information, Col. Mohammed Yerima, announced the changes in an email to our correspondent on Saturday. Yerima said the removal of Kure and Isah were fallouts of the bombing incidents in Jaji. According to him, the Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ola Obrahim, took the decision to replace Kure with Air Vice Marshal Osim while Major. Gen KC Osuji was also appointed in acting capacity as the replacement for Isah.

The poster of the above junk is one reason among many reasons I had wanted Nigeria to be disintegrated. Who in his/her sound mind would want such lapper as a compatriot? The moronic gulls in the mold of this useless poster are the reason behind incessant silly religious and ethnic riots in Nigeria. This jackass could be agent of Boko Haram. There is no doubt the poster displayed a combination of inherent tribal bigotry and irredeemable ignorance.

In fact, I have tried to fathom the factors responsible for the concoction of such idiotic opinion by the poster. There were, at least, six officers or security operatives of Nigerian government needed to be quizzed not sacked or removed before getting to the Ihiejirika. Yet the moronic poster could only think of sacking the COAS.

Did the poster forgot the names of Governor of Borno State, Commissioner of Police of Borno State, Area Controller of Customs in Borno State, Commandant of Air force Base, NSA director Col Dasuki, IGP, Chief of Air Staff, and CDS?

I am afraid to say that everything about Nigeria is not real except the breathable things. Even some of the breathable beings are intellectually confused hence your statement about “GEJ is presiding over the most corrupt administration in the history of Nigeria”.

A person wonders what type of yardsticks and criteria you applied to arrive at such ridiculous conclusion. If Gov Sulie Lamido has been in Nigeria politics for more than 30 years and counting when even the GEJ was a student, it is safe to that Sulie Lamido helped Nigeria produced the convicts, international fugitives, corrupt and tainted people under EFCC investigations as you have alleged.

The stream of thought that gave rise to the concept of Ajaokuta plant or project was adulterated by the spirit of tribal and sectional politics hence the project or plant has become a painted sepulcher. I do not know the grades of steels expected out of the plant in Ajoakuta but it is clearly a project without a prioritized end.

The resources lavished on the so-called Ajaokuta would have given Nigeria, at least, two or three manageable smaller plants with prioritized end products in mind. In such settings, the product of one plant will or will not feed the process of end product of another plant.

In a nutshell, the Ajaokuta plant is a borderline waste.
