barcanista: As a pro-GEJ, this needs thorough investigation. I implore Goodluck to appoint independent foreign auditors of proven track records to investigate NNPC's books.Just shut up your putrid mouth since you can not perceive the actions of the evil axis talk less understand it. This is 1964/65 era all over again in Nigeria. |
rodbel: Really!? Is this all you could manage to pull together......you must be a lower animal. If one has to follow your idiotic illogicality, it is safe to say you are the lowest animal since you could not come up with one complete sentence. |
PointB: So why did Obj nominate GEJ as Vice President in the first place? Didn't he see GEJ primarily as an Ijaw man who will calm the militancy in the Niger Delta or did he see him as a 'weakling' he could easily manipulate?Bros the moronic Olusegun Obasanjo thought Goodluck Jonathan is the brand of Ijo men he and Gowon used during the Nigeria/Biafra war. |
Spray: the difference btw gej and obj is clear clown? Durin obj tenure so many commisons was set up 2 tackle corruptn in d country, dat realy reduces coruptn imensly,, while gej tenure coruptn increases uninteruptdly, thank u!Do you actually know the meaning of corruption? Femi Fani-Kayode was minister of aviation under Obasanjo and he had publicly owned up to corruptive practices. The meaning of corruption does not emanate from the front pages of Punch Newpapers or Osundefender. |
This is apparent fear of disintegration of Nigeria. Those people who continuously milk the deranged Nigeria do not want it to become sane via disintegration. Of course, Obasanjo would want Nigeria to continue its aimless course to nowhere. If Jonathan Goodluck’s constitutional observance will lead to the disintegration of Nigeria, I say let it be tomorrow. |
PEREP: In sane countries, they will investigate and confirm if NNPC was meant to remmit all the money or just a percentage as pointed out by NNPC. It is a servant mentality to simply believe the negative without verifications.I guess the reason for such out-of-protocol behavior from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is that he had expected long overdue promotion from the President. In fact, Nigeria should be disintegrated so that Nigerians can go their different ways. There is no doubt that most responders to this thread have not spent a day in the operations of upper echelon of a corporate body. The idiotic letter was not a top secret object and if Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was not up to something would have copied the minister of finance. The dumbass punk looked idiotic as a cheap whistle blower. |
Orlando Owoh: Your old age comes with senility. There is no doubt you seem to think the symptoms of your old age are equally applicable to other humans. I had a very good life so far, the one you can only see in your miserable dreams. |
What the hell, Pa Dede? I have always called things the way I saw them without minding whose ox was gored. I hope you know Winnie is not Nelson Mandela’s first wife? |
berem: Use another browser na! Opera mini seems to be phucking upYou simply can not stop to amaze me. Which of the browser(s) did you fathom I am operating on my PCs? |
Nairaland is having a serious latency issue. Please concerned parties should do something about it. |
Ngwakwe: If you take time and read Dr Ibrahim's rebuttal on behalf of NNPC (especially the sentence in the bold), he was specifically calling Sanusi Lamido a zoombi, a dunce who needs to up his on the job training skillsAgain, your post has magnified the ugliness of leaving certain principles of democracy in the hands of ill-educated scoundrels such as Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Seen a fool (seanet02) and Ballaburger (Ballabriggs) |
seanet02: The inherited stvpidity in you have continue to defy logicYou are inherently moronic, olodo. |
ballabriggs: Mr man close your mouth and read this part of the mans letter.“For the avoidance of doubt, it needs to be stated that the figure of 594.024 million barrels of crude oil given by the CBN as the total crude oil lifting for the period of January 2012 to July 2013 does not represent the correct picture of crude oil lifting for the period. From our records, the correct figure is 618.55m barrels. This shows that the CBN understated the actual crude lifting by 4.13%,” Dr. Ibrahim stated. “He explained that revenues from crude oil liftings are in various categories, namely Equity Crude; Petroleum Profit Tax, Royalty, Third Party Financing and the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC. Revenues from each of these categories are statutorily collected by different agencies of the government. The NNPC collects only one of the aforementioned categories, namely Equity Crude. Petroleum Profit Tax is collected by the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Royalty goes to the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR, Third Party financing goes for Research, Development, Program and Satellite fields Development, while NPDC goes to NPDC for upstream development. “While NNPC pays proceeds from Equity crude directly to the Federation Account with the CBN, the FIRS and DPR pay PPT and Royalty respectively into the Federation Account with the CBN. The sum total of these proceeds make up the alleged unremitted revenues, Dr. Ibrahim stated. “The 24% of total crude oil revenue receipts which the CBN governor is reported to have acknowledged that NNPC remitted represents the proceeds from the equity lifting which NNPC is directly responsible for. The alleged unremitted 76% was paid to the agencies that are statutorily empowered to receive them for onward remittance into the Federation Account”, Dr. Ibrahim explaine" If your so-called Governor of CBN does not understand the above excerpts of rebuttal from NNPC personal, Dr. Ibrahim and the nuances involved in remittance of proceeds from NNPC and crude oil companies, he, Sanudi Lamido Sanusi does not deserve to be governor of CBN. |
seanet02: Dende slowpoke is backSeen a fool You have proven that stupidity can not be fixed. |
sanusi is flying a kite only he knows the real motive behind his letter because he can't convince us that he just woke up to see this where was he all these four years? his term ends next year
This is the reason democracy is a dangerous proposition for people who are mentally unstable. |
ballabriggs: You are dull. Copy the Minister? A confidential letter to the President? I do not get your point. Is it that what was meant to be remitted has been remitted? You are known for unguarded sentimental outburst and occasionally spewing crap. I remembered the craps you vomited during Stella Oduah's debate on this forum only to found out a dullard such as you does not even comprehend the connotation of the word- corruption. I really wonder why a mere treasurer will take up a matter of financial discrepancies with the chairman without notifying the financial secretary. Nigeria is really a jungle. I expect the House committee on finance to invite Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, NNPC director and Minister of Finance for a hearing. |
hardywaltz: Exposing corruption of this magnitude does not require any protocol.People in sensitive positions are required to look before leap. Bros I have self restraints engaged before dribbling with the word known as corruption. It appears Nigerians have fallen in love with the word – corruption. I do not think that the position of the governor of CBN is reserved for whistle blowers. |
ballabriggs: Sanusi has been Governor of CBN for over 4 years now and it is not the first time he has seen inflows into the federation account. If something unusual has happened, he can always tell.Did Sanusi lamido Sanusi had all the facts before writing such letter to President? Why did he not copy the minister of finance? Did Sanusi Lamido Sanusi fellow the proper protocol in such as action? Now that NNPC has painstakingly and categorically refuted the erroneous claims in the letter written by Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, I guess it would be proper to call for Sanusi Lamido Sanusi's resignation. Nigeria does not need a goofy character as the governor of CBN. |
Clown, you post and respond to yourself. lunatics
It takes one goon to recognize another. ![]() |
fkaz: Akpati should keep quite, Tanbuwal is a leader with balls unlike the dumb who call him self a president. How would Tambuwal defend a corrupt govt when he knows every thing is not going right. Tambuwal has done is part in fighting corruption, let the retard do his own part, if he is sincere in fighting corruption.Do you think Tambuwal of the world’s class of dumb understands the connotation of the word – corruption? |
berem: who does she intend marrying now? Robert Mugabe?I wonder if real African such as Robert Mugabe would waste time with such wastepipe. |
Do Nigerians actually know the meaning of the word- corruption? The wrong usage of the word - corruption among Nigerians gives me headache. In Nigeria, it appears if a person purchases a blackberry for office usage he/she is classified as corrupt. What in the hell is wrong with Nigerians? |
superstar1: Oga USA, is this America. Must we do what America is doing. We can as well adopt China's model of tackling corruption. Are you a useless nut? Why would you attempt to equate burglary, Watergate, with innocuous purchase of operational vehicles for the ministry of aviation by NCAA? Believe me, only calibrated fool would attempt to classify NCAA purchase of operational cars as a form of corruption. I am not surprise at your silly outburst in reference to Chinese model of government. The last I checked though, moronic Nigerians such as you informed the general public that Nigerian government is patterned after USA’s model of government. |
@OP The #4 point would have thought Nigerians a lesson but not. Only bunch of fools will convict someone on the charges of he/sh bought something for ministry or department that is not meant for personal usage. Stella Oduah’s case is example of political lynching orchestrated by Yoruba people who lost their biddings at the Ministry of Aviation since Stella took over helms of the ministry. |
plendil: Point taken. The president cannot arrest, but he can order a probe. In USA, there are all kinds of security agents, including FBI, that are better equipped than the so-called EFCC yet the Obama will order White House probe not even governmental probe through Justice Department. Nigerians have logical issues and they suck to high heaven. |
nairaarea: I still dont know why GEJ is insensitive to the plight of the Ogoni people. He should please start the clean up of their land. The pollution has rendered there farms and rivers useless thus causing untold hardship to the people. If 300000 ogoni people protested in the military era then the FG should expect a mega protest that will be covered by international media. Ogoni are supported by the UNITED NATIONS.Are the Ogoni people willing to pay back all the gains accrued due to crude oil exploration? Nigerians must stop towing the way of sentiments in order to achieve a cheap political point. United Nation is not part of Nigeria and one wonders where the idiotic United Nation stood when Bakassi was ceded to Cameroon. |
