I can't fathom how Bala kept his job while Dedevbo got fired. But I would like the NFF to give our former Super Falcons more shots at coaching jobs. We should not have casted away Florence Omagbemi, she proved herself worthy and at the least she should be understuding our current coach. Most countries have female coaches for their female teams and the NFF should be working towards that.

An Igbo never changes his ancestral surname without a good reason, and even when he does, it wont be to an English surname. My coisin changed his surname from that of our ancestral great grand father to that of our grand father. So ask this general why he took an English surname over his ancestral Igbo surname
Most people from Nigeria tend to be cute with their names. I guess the Gen. never forgot where he hails by adding Ibe to name profile. By the way, why are certain goons completely out of human form because an Igbo chose to append an English name to his profile?

No State Should Enact Anti-open Grazing Law Without Provision For Fulani Else… – Herdsmen

STATES in the country has been warned, in the interest of peace, not to enact and implement anti-open grazing law without provision for Fulani herdsmen.

This warning is coming from the coordinator of the Benue State chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Garius Gololo.

Gololo gave the warning in an interview with Sun Newspaper while detailing the genesis of the recent crisis in Benue State.

He said the state governor, Samuel Ortom, used, by raising the hopes of Fulani herdsmen while soliciting for their votes during his pre-election campaigns, and dumped them after he rode partly on their support to the Government House.

“I am saying that no state should enact or implement anti-open grazing law without making proper provision for the Fulani; if provisions are made, they can go ahead. For now, that is the condition and there will be no end in sight to the problem unless they make provision for the Fulani because they are citizens and have nowhere to go. It appears they want to deny Fulani their legal rights; their business, and from where they were born and bred; it’s not possible,” Gololo was quoted by the publication as saying.

He also asked former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, to apologize over a statement credit to him that herdsmen should be moved to Sambisa forest where they can openly graze their cows.

“I didn’t expect him to make such a comment that herdsmen should go to Sambisa, Obasanjo is against Fulani and we won’t take it. Why doesn’t he carry his cows to Sambisa forest? Obasanjo should apologize to us,” he said.

When asked wether it is true that rather than God, the Fulani worship their cow, he said, “Ah, ah, why won’t you worship what you are gaining from? They worship God, but they depend on their cow. If you want to marry, it’s from that cow; if you are going to the hospital, it’s from that cow, if you want to eat, it’s from that cow. So, for people to say Fulani worship cows, its clear; they must, because it’s from it they eke a living. Fulani does not need road, they don’t need electricity, and they don’t need a big house.”

He also debunked insinuations in some quarters that the spike in herdsmen attacks was because the country has a president from the Fulani extraction, saying not all the attacks in the state were carried out by herdsmen.

He, however, urged the federal government to intervene and take decisive action that will curb farmers and herdsmen clash across the country.

Ndigbo have failed woefully in the choice of their governors. They tend to choose individuals who are more desperate to make money and cut name for themselves than good governance. Proper investigation should be carried out.
This case has been adjudicated by some of the highest courts in Nigeria. EFCC has no jurisdiction in a case or cases being adjudicated by courts or still pending in the courts of the land. The manner of idiocy being exhibited by the Nigerians who could have known better is the reason certain quarters of humanity called Nigeria a shithole.

antiflathead:
Founder and leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, has described the Igbo as foolish.

The MASSOB founder insisted that Igbo may not become Nigeria’s president because they only fight for their pocket.

Speaking with Punch, Uwazurike recalled how Igbo was pushed aside after forming the former ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 1999.

He insisted that anyone calling for the unity of Nigeria does not mean well for the already troubled nation.

His words, “Remember, it was the Igbo man that formed this PDP but they snatched it from him. Then, it was clear that an Igbo man would be the President of Nigeria. But in Jos, it was the Igbo who robbed themselves of that opportunity. The Igbo at that political event in Jos started speaking Hausa.

“The Igbo started sponsoring (Olusegun) Obasanjo against (Alex) Ekwueme; giving N100 million and all that to another tribe to emerge. Let me tell you, the Igbo tribe is the most foolish tribe I have ever seen in the world.

“While the Yoruba embraced unity, the Igbo man was the person speaking Hausa in Jos; the Igbo man was the one donating money against his own brother in Jos to another candidate.

“Is that a wise tribe? Then, who should I apologise to for using the word ‘foolish?’ Then what have we achieved from the PDP? For how many years have the Yoruba people used the PDP? Eight years! Now, when it was the turn of the South-East, they sent it to South-South.”

"igbo are fools" uwazurike

pls how true is this?
It is clear who is more foolish than the other, Igbo or Chief Ralph Uwazurike. Any day the Sun rises from the east and sets in the west, I shall rather fight for my pocket than the presidency of the zoo called Nigeria. What an insult from a demented and imbecilic dolt.

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday warned Nigerians not to revenge attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Buhari, stated this while commissioning Comprehensive Special School, Lafia, Nasarawa State.

While condemning the attacks on Nigerians by herdsmen, Mr. Buhari noted that his administration would not tolerate the barbaric acts.

He added that the federal government was working hard to ensure that peace and stability returned to the North Central region which is mostly the recipient of the deadly attacks.

“I also want to assure the people of the north central and indeed all Nigerians that the federal government is working day night to ensure peace and stability returns.

“We have deployed additional resources to all the affected areas to maintain law and order.

“The attacks by suspected herdsmen and other bandits will not be tolerated.

“I appeal to all Nigerians to refrain from reprisal attacks. The security agencies have standing order to arrest and prosecute any and all persons found with illegal arms

“I will once again express my condolences and sympathy to all the affected victims of these barbaric acts,” he added.

It saddens me to see the deployment of soldiers and interrogation of a DPO because few Fulani people were killed in Gboko. The Fulani herdsmen have been created with numerous sacking of villages and communities in Nigeria without deployment of soldiers or quizzing a DPO. By the same token, I am equally saddened the Nigerians tend to slaughter each other on slightest provocation. There is no doubt Nigeria cannot continue to stand in this hateful form. Every Nigerian must strive to disintegrate the dilapidated and inconsequential country known as Nigeria.
