Crude Oil or not, Igbo land is abundantly blessed. |
Nowenuse: Pls sir, Igbo land or igbos do not cut indigenously into the middlebelt (kogi or benue). Instead it's d oda way round. There r indigenous igalas in Anambra and Enugu state, and Idomas in Enugu, but very few though. Note that! There is Igbo in both Benue and Kogi States. |
Abagworo: I think we should grow beyond expecting any special favour from anyone irrespective of our support or not. Nigerian President is for Nigeria and not for Igbos or Hausas or Ijaws. Jonathan is not a born leader and that's why his best is not good enough. Were you not the same goofy character that heavy-handedly faulted GEJ because the so-called Niger Delta was not massively flooded with economic infrastructures? I guess you forgot that Nigerian president is for Nigeria not the so-called Niger Delta. |
Toaskarity: Please forget all this preaching and fighting for yorubas in Kogi or not We want true fedralism! im igbo from anambra state and i want a stituation where every state should be controlling herself!! wheather Yoruba is in kogi ,Hausa in Niger or Igbo is in Rivers! all that nonsense! they can preserve their culture there. why dont all these tribes go and claim their brothers in Benin/Niger or the slaves in america that were taken from them.Is there any false federalism? The talk about true federalism is a silly cop-out in the political realism facing Nigerians. We must find a way to go our separate ways peacefully or face war. |
karfe: @ Obiagu1Bros nitty-gritty or not, I know Igbo land cuts squarely into Benue and Kogi States. |
agbameta: GEJ errand boys masquerading as relevant and credible political parties... Bunch of losers.. shiooorrrYou did get twisted out of human form when the bunch of losers formed APC. |
yunglykmine: Jokers! Those jokers that formed APC did so to be relevant at all cost too. |
A country such as Nigeria that has people with no brains, no ordinary roads, can not supply electricity for 24 hours, imports any form of steel, does not fabricate, can not assemble, no clean drinking water, no good educational system, lacks trust among themselves and can not feed itself is not a player in space exploration. Nigeria should focus on humanly endeavors for now. Nigerians have been unable to understand that the “One-Nigeria” crap is a show stopper. |
bloggernaija: They do that in Lagos , you declare war on the SW.Shut up your putrid loud mouth. Has SW ever conducted a coup to remove ordinary house prefect talk less of wedging a war? |
qtx: From history some world super-powers support countries with such enormous natural resources. Am scared a country like US may support the ijaw nation bc of the oil. Dont you think so? bc US is always fond of that. My thinkingHow many countries have gained independence because of USA's military or economic support? Most Nigerians are faraway from reality. |
Only a foolish man of which has to be a bigoted Nigerian would think that Ijaw want war simply cos Asari may have insinuated such. To the best of my knowledge, all Asari has been saying is what any Niger deltan would say; "Justice or nothing else". On the other hand, the Nigerian elites who happen to be the cabal/establishment won't allow war to break off. They will loose big time. And should war break off, trust me....nobody or ethnic group is going to ally with any dammed body to fight the Ijaws. Are the Yoruba going to ally with the Hausa or Igbo to fight the Ijaw? Matter of fact, should war break off today, Massob, Mossop, opc, Acf, BokoHaram etc will use the opportunity to advance their own secessionist course. Wait a minute, who did the naive op say was going to fight the Ijaw.
It is unfortunate that most people do not realize justice does not come from the lips of loud mouths. |
kettykin: The igbos fought a blind and unplanned war of secession against Soviet Union, British Empire and Arab world back Nigerian Army and yet inflicted a serious set back on the Nigerian army that gives them Night mare when ever they hear of Biafra.Ndigbo and Biafrans did not fight a blind and unplanned war of secession but a war of necessity. If Biafra was allowed, at least, six months of peaceful existence, which the British will never allow, the outcome of the war would have been difference. Eastern region was not a sovereign entity even for one day before the war of attrition was precipitated upon it. There was no strategy or defensive mechanism set in place to defend its boundaries and coastal lines. Today, Nigeria is setting itself up for a war of disintegration unlike what was obtained in 1967. In about 15 years ago, Lt Col Umar drew a strategic scenario on how impending war in Nigeria might probably shakedown. He alluded that anybody who is hedging a bet on the future war of disintegration in Nigeria based on Nigeria/Biafra war remains a fool. One of the cardinal axes of the strategic scenario is already shaping up on the Nigerian polity. There will be many saboteurs in the southern Nigeria and good thing is that they are already raising their heads. Anybody who saw or studiously read about Nigeria/Biafra war from the neutral or vanquished perspective could easily see the axis is forming. I hardly pay any mind to craps vomited by deluded and overfed Ijo folk about war and Nigeria. |
ba7man: Place them on notice when there's a big possibility of them being involved??Please for the sake of posterity, I plead with you to read the rejoinder from the CBN on the alleged letter written by Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to the President of Nigeria. It is appears somebody is completely at lost with technical rigors involved in crude oil transactions in Nigeria. |
ba7man: Abeg, leave story. I suspect SLS exaggerated the missing amount of money but he's exposed the shady dealings in high places in the process. It was not Sanusi Lamido Sanusi that publicized the alleged letter, olodo. |
ba7man: First you talk about transparency from the Government, then you follow up by saying some documented information should be hidden from the public..............the ones they've hidden from us that has wrecked this nation isn't enough, abi??You are a bloody dunce. The essence of coping the letter to the Minister of Finance and the Director of NNPC is to place them on notice. I guess now the letter has been made public, it helped the looters hid their bounties. USA operates one of the transparent governments in the world yet it has classified repositories, olodo. |
AnanseK: You see? I can tell how warped mind thinks, except that you didn't confirm that the CBN governorship should be given to stella Oduah. If you studiously deduced you are not among the warped minds, please state one form of corruption you found Stella Oduah liable in the purchase of two cars by NCAA for Ministry of Aviation. I shall wait patiently for your response. |
Thank you very much for your reply and I completely agree with you that banks designated by NNPC can document the movement of these NNPC monies. While we must condemn character assassination wherever it is found, I must confess to you that I have never seen any documentation or accounting provided to the public which includes interest paid on these monies. I'm sure you'd agree with me that the senate probe should extend to banks and bankers who may be able to provide any information on who is pocketing the billions of dollars in interest. Don't tell me that you'd have any reservations on this.
I have problem with the manner and tone of the alleged letter from Governor of CBN to President of Nigeria. The channeling of the letter lacked professionalism required of people manning sensitive position of a country. If Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was not up to a sort of political mischievousness, he would have copied Minister of Finance and Director of NNPC. Nigerians talk and yarn about transparency from their government yet failed to question the intention of dubious letter from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. There are certain documents on government transactions that are not meant for public consumption. So you should be advised to forget the idea of seeing such documents unless you have some forms of clearance from the government. Look pal, Nigeria is not a nation and needs to be restructured. I am for any probe that will expose all facts and any party found delinquent should be summarily dealt without reservation. |
@OP Is it imperative that everybody in Nigeria should eat in a restaurant? There are people who have no business with restaurants in Nigeria. Are prices of plate of food regulated in Nigeria? |
Is it true this moronic numskull named Femi Fani-Kayode took a degree from Cambridge University? Nigerians must be bunch of fools if they had allowed only Susan Rice and arrested Mr. MKO Abiola in a house talk less a room alone. Mr. MKO Abiola did not win election that took place on June 12th 1993 because the aforementioned election was cancelled. Nobody wins election until the results are certified by the governing body. |
CHESSBOARD: The only reason you are talking about togetherness is because you have been looting contract money from the government, You said it b4 that you made 200 million in just one contract, so why wont you be happy instead of supporting a better regionalism or better split countriesBros you failed to mention who awarded the contract to the hammerhead - Abagworo. Probably Rotimi Amaechi's Rivers State awarded the alleged contract to him/her yet he/she foolishly accuses people of corruption. Does he/she understand what nepotism is all about? |
Abagworo: My reason for always supporting Amaechi both when he was with Jonathan and now they are apart is because I saw the desire in him for a change from day one. Its the same desire I saw in Rochas that endeared me to him as well. Why can't Jonathan work with those that want Nigeria better? All the good PDP Governors have fallen out with him apart from Akpabio. I'm just wondering.I have come to realize you are a good-for-nothing cheap sectional bigot. If Orlu is forgotten as you would want everybody to believe, is Okigwe also forgotten too? I know you are from Orlu zone but it is a pitiable idiocy to think that Owerre, the state capital, will receive equal attention with Orlu in terms of infrastructural development. In Amaechi’s case, you have repeatedly told any willing ears that your mother is Ikwerre, probably from the same village with Amaechi, it is no brainier to discern your support for Amaechi is borne out of ulterior motives. I spoke with a friend whose village is Umunna, Orlu and he told me his father’s house was razed to ground yet no compensation or the expected development promised by the Mallam Rochas Okorocha. He said Orlu is a pile of rubbish. I guess it is only in Rivers State that governor undertakes the construction of federal roads. Please continue to entertain your silly self with goofy stuffs. |
Mr. Gull, Would you happen to know where NNPC keeps the proceeds from their transactions before they remit them to CBN as required by law? Do they use banks or do they maintain their own banks or vaults?
Mr. Chucks, You have disappointedly turned yourself into a Star gazer. Do the countries and companies that buy crude oil from Nigeria deal with CBN? The buyers deal with banks designated by NNPC and other entities in downstream petroleum business not CBN. The onward remittance to CBN is carried out by NNPC and other entities as when due and required by the law of the land. It is unfortunate that the governor of CBN has joined forces with President’s political opponents in a silly character assassination. If estimated crude oil worth of $50 billion dollars is missing, how does the government meet its responsibilities for the fiscal year? |
agbameta: Was it a graduation ceremony? Yes or NoEko Ole Do I need to waste my precious time explaining to a rock such as you the differences between outsource and contract when a dummy such as you can not strike the difference between graduating trainee farmers and graduates of LASG institute and school of Agric? |
AnanseK: But Stella Oduah must continue as the Aviation Minister. In fact she should be made the CBN governor in addition to her ministerial job. After all she is from the president's region. Isn't it ? I have completed your thinking for you.If there is iota of truth in the sense that the goofy letter from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to President of Nigeria, which has been made public, does not have the facts and meant to mislead Nigerian public, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi should not stay on the post more than a day. As for Stella Oduah, it is unfortunate that those who accused her of corruptible practices on the purchase of two cars by NCAA for the ministry of aviation do not even know the slightest connotation of the word- corruption. I am not surprised, after all, we are talking about Nigeria and Nigerians. |
agbameta: 1. Dindinri oponu, I know reading and comprehension is a serious malady in your village, but it was a graduation ceremony with graduating students from LASG Agric institute, something they don't have in your worthless village..Eko Ole Dindinri Those were not graduating students from LASG Agric institute. It was graduation ceremony of graduating trainee farmers, olodo. |
naijaking1: Nnpc has clarified issues with Sanusi of cbn. Sanusi responded that he no longer wants to talk about it. Answer for your self whether his original empty allegations were true or not.If it is remotely true that Sanusi Lamido Sanusi responded to NNPC that he no longer wants to talk about the wild fire he started rather idiotically, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi must be asked to resign as the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria. |
Abagworo: Boy you think like a kid. If division was easy, it could have been done in 1967. Obasanjo is a wiseman. I'm sure that the international community and particularly the USA will ask Jonathan to step aside and face trial if he attempts to divide Nigeria because the war that will escalate will lead to the biggest humanitarian crisis since world war2 with over 130million refugees. Obasanjo is from a zone which will enjoy relative peace if Nigeria is divided while Jonathan is from the most volatile and tribally divided zone which will be involved in an endless war among micro-tribes, compounds and families over oil. Meanwhile at least 20million Igbos will be killed for a start in the North because of the way some Igbos own up to what they know or benefit nothing about. You are a regrettable dummy if you think USA has a part to play in unforeseen and instantaneous actions that had blessed disintegration of countries. The SNC sure will set the path to gauge if the dilapidated Nigeria has future life, olodo. If you have any power to indulge in sneak view of the future, you would have been better heard than present. I guess you are definitely not a student of Nigerian history. Western region of Nigeria reminds me of Wild West, agbaya. |
I guess APGA can now remove Mallam Rochas Okorocha as Imo State governor. If the comedian contested and elected Chairman of All Progressive Party Governor’s forum as alleged by this article, the jackass could not deny the membership of APC. |
agbameta: We are talking about a credible and responsible government delivering on behalf of the people, something they don't know how to do in your backward village and all your are obsessed with is graduation gowns?Eko Ole, if I say you are a counterfeited dunce, you should take it as a compliment of the season. How dare silly you compare a cassava factory to university, even when the university is of Nigerian standard? Universities do outsource the graduation gown’s production to the lowest bidders, olodo. Beside the universities are not required to adhere to certain degree of electoral moralities expected of elected officials such as Fashola, olodo. |
@OP The fear of disintegration of the cesspit called Nigeria is wisdom. I say relax knucklehead because you will still have Republic of Oduduwa to mess up. |
