So NCDC officials cannot be quarantined even if they came from high risk areas? ![]() Worst is, they fled from isolation What I don't understand is condemning Wike for being rash and condemning Sanwo Olu for being lenient. |
Sunkanmiwise:Sarcasm right? ![]() |
Agboriotejoye:You'ld have made more sense if you simply said you didn't say any of that. But you did and you even talked up South Sudan yourself, whose example disproves your claim. Now it's me burying my head in the sand? It's okay |
Agboriotejoye:Perhaps at this point I should quote exactly what you said which prompted that response from me. Agboriotejoye:You never went beyond this. |
oyatz:This is not about Onitsha. It is about Biafra. And if all goes according to the original blueprint, there is nothing stopping the River Niger from being dredged. |
Agboriotejoye:Sudan would never have willingly bequeathed her oil revenue to South Sudan. But the reality on ground is that South Sudan controls the oil wealth after secession. |
oyatz:Any idea how the Biafra that is yet to be fits this bill already? Nigeria once expelled citizens of Ghana.Yes. In the 1980s targetting illegal migrants during the economic decline. Look at the ways Nigerians were treated in S/Africa recently. It didn't occur to me that the South African government were behind that. The USA under President Donald Trump few years ago banned citizens of 6 Muslim dominated Countries from entering their Countries. The reasons for these were clearly spelt out, US being a huge target for terrorist activities and these countries having security concerns within and identity and information management issues. These are key for a country like US. Nigeria must have a concrete reason to do this. If you are an Israeli citizen or you recently visit Israel, you can not enter Iran.Iran and Israel have been at loggerheads probably before my father was born. Why should this be of any relevance here? On what grounds would Nigeria choose to be hostile or oppressive to Biafra? |
Agboriotejoye:Hmmm.. Ogaa o. What kind of ignorant bliss is this? See how you even said it with confidence sef. |
funmijoyb:But what he said there is the fact. If the only way to secure rightful borders is to go to war, to war it is then. It wouldn't be the first time it happened. Neither would it be the last. It is quite normal in such case, irrespective of the 'war' status of the dominant tribe. |
Agboriotejoye:You said and I quote that the 'host' nation decides what the seceding nation keeps. In the instance of Sudan you mentioned above, was that what played out? |
Agboriotejoye:Lol.. Then you need to read up on random instances of secession. Africa has witnessed at least two. They'll be good for case study. |
abduljabbar4:It's an expensive enterprise. There's no limit to how we can source money for it as a country. That'll be a lengthy discussion but I expect you're not unfamiliar with it. |
abduljabbar4:I know you didn't know about dredging before. So the River isn't in Biafra anymore because I mentioned dredging. To think it was you who was saying the river couldn't support a big vessel. Now you've switched stands. Take your L in peace bro. |
abduljabbar4:US, Saudi Arabia, Israel.. None of which are countries at Nigeria's level of governance/existence.That's by the way. You quoted a lesson on something called dredging. I hope you make clearer assumptions on how waterways can be expanded. As for Nigeria diverting its efforts to ensuring 'a sovereign country' doesn't survive, there are ways of dealing with that I'm sure. |
Aufbauh:Oh please. No vague assumptions here. Go into details over how Ghana or Togo have been dealing with all non-citizens from a particular country like you are assuming here. We need to be very sure our disagreement is on the same subject. Thanks. |
abduljabbar4:Dredging is the removal of sediments and debris from the bottom of lakes, rivers, harbors, and other water bodies. It is a routine necessity in waterways around the world because sedimentation—the natural process of sand and silt washing downstream—gradually fills channels and harbors. 'Dredging often is focused on maintaining or increasing the depth of navigation channels, anchorages, or berthing areas to ensure the safe passage of boats and ships. Vessels require a certain amount of water in order to float and not touch bottom. This water depth continues to increase over time as larger and larger ships are deployed. Since massive ships carry the bulk of the goods imported into the country, dredging plays a vital role in the nation's economy.' Be sure of this. The rivers will become international waters. Can Nigeria obstruct passage on International waters? I guess not. So that we can be very sure of all those who were scammed and those who weren't. |
BabaOwen:Of course. Going to the heart of Igboland to tell them to forget Biafra is running after trouble. Even NYSC warns against moves like that. |
Trizyd:I'll like you to focus on what Nigeria stands to lose if she decides to victimise 'citizens of another country' just because they can. China can afford to do that. They have enough clout to blow off UN. Can Nigeria afford to do that? |
SIONKPO1:Of course. That's the way to get rid of those foreigners who are not contributing significantly to their economy. |
Agboriotejoye:Looooool. You must assume we're still in the age where we're running about in animal skins. Nigerian government oppressing her citizens is a different ball game from the Nigerian government oppressing citizens of other 'nations' in her country. Be guided. |
adeboizy11:Where before your service year were you told international border is a criteria for secession? Does secession itself not automatically create an international border?? |
SIONKPO1:All of Nigeria's current leaders are criminal minded. So it's presenting Biafrans with a new environment to deal with an old problem. 3.Discrimination amongst yourself, hope you are well prepared to carry everyone along(ebonyo, nsukka Igbo's)Everyone should be prepared to carry themselves along. What they should implement is a decentralized system of governance. And if you're talking about the tribal differences, it's everywhere. In Lagos for example, the Aworis see and pronounce themselves different from a number of others, despite all being Yorubas. 4.Hope you are aware that majority of Igbo's resides outside Igbo land and are mostly into private business(If Biafra becomes a country they will be sent out of Nigerian territories, do you have palliatives for them? Many, not majority. And what do you mean 'sent' out of Nigerian territory? The highest thing that can happen is them being asked to process themselves as immigrant. And those who can't, will go back to Biafra to be resourceful as is the norm. As for palliatives, everyone needs palliatives.[/quote] I repeat again I support the secession of Biafra but they should stop blackmailing and forcing other ethnic groups to join themDefine blackmail in this instance. The borders of Biafra are very clear since inception of the idea. It is now left for the inhabitants to decide if they want to be part of this Nigeria or part of this Biafra. |
While anti-Biafra are striving to have the upper hand over this issue, pro-Biafrans should remain steadfast. Switzerland is landlocked. But they have one of the best economies in the world and are arguably the most stable. It just takes a good example to make sense of your struggle. We can always play the victim card and get these advanced 'brothers-in-landlocked' struggles to rally to our aid and put Nigeria in her place should they decide to be unnecessarily oppressive. |
Honestly? I listened to more of Vybz Kartel than the rest. ![]() Too bad he may never give live performances again. |
dignity33:'according to' The Nation.. Could it be quoting The Nation media? |
The attacks on Biafra though. Igbos rise from the ashes like phoenix. Spill these 'insignificant' narrations all you want. It would have died then if it was that easy to kill. It isn't. |
You have mind. In this corona period, you're uploading video of lions |
Could it be Total Recall? |
