Kindledlight: Bros you even have time to reply all those stupid and nonsense talk, the only pride they have now was the trophies that Alex ferguson won in the 80’s and 90’s when he got referees doing his biddings and that is why they will find it hard to win any trophy presently. Even the carabao cup match they won against Chelsea, they did not win it oooo.#timefornemesis News flash, Sir Alex Ferguson won 18 trophies in 2000s, including PLs, FA, UCL and co. So make your envy more factual. |

Decimus: It becomes bad when it happens repeatedly. Goals, penalties, red card offence. ... Aston Villa were hanging on before that controversial penalty. When it came, they just opened up. I know Bruno was expected to hang up in the air once he clearly won that ball with a Kaka-esque flick and the slow defender lunged into empty space, directly under Bruno's suspended foot. Well, as a player who just won POTM back to back, he was expected to be supernatural, so I don't really fault you. But did you see this unexplainable studs tackle on young Greenwood that went undetected by same VAR and refs? Or you only select and fine tune what you see how you want to see it?

bluefilm: Exactly.
Howard Webb was their number one extra man on the pitch. In 06/07, 07/08, 10/11 and 12/13, Howard Webb officiated only 4 of Man Utd games. That means other referees officiated the remaining 34 games. Yet United won the title on each of these seasons. Next excuse? |

Decimus: Giggs spent 22 years, a winger for that matter and didn't come close to scoring 170 goals. People like sterling will break that record in almost a third of 22 years. That tearing apart is just a myth coined by Man u fans. I think seasoned football fans know how wide a winger plays in the traditional 4-4-2 unlike the inside forwards of 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 systems these days. But then, not everyone is a seasoned football fan. We are talking about individual contributions here, teams win trophies. Man u have more trophies than Chelsea, no one can dispute that. Some are lucky to play in a trophy winning team while some are not. Henderson has lifted more trophies than Gerrard, but individually, he doesn't come close to him. Giggs was vital to Man United successes in his playing time. Anyway, it was you who mentioned cups in your post so I needed to remind you to talk about what you're more experienced in. |

Decimus: ...Even disposable cup, he won't win it at Man u . Let's talk about this statement of yours. Cups? Really? Using this same legend of yours, Lampard and the Giggs you asked for. Giggs has 34 trophies which is almost thrice the trophies Lampard managed for Chelsea with 13 only. In the PL alone, Giggs has over thrice the total Lampard has. And for good reason too. He's been tearing them apart since 1991. |

samilo88: . A Bruno who wasn't known anywhere beside playing in a stupid Portuguese league walks straight into a ManU squad show tell u guys how low ManU have become. Same Bruno came from a stupid Portuguese League to join an elite list of only seven players (including CR7, Salah and Kane) to win Player of the month back to back, ahead of over 400 PL players with their years of experience playing in the league. Tells you how low the league has become. |

QuitNotice: I...stems from their always depending on corrupt officials to garner points, while others work their socks out to get points of their own. ....They have stolen so much that they even signed a coach named OLE 1. Mention any team that managed to have as many as eight players from their team make PL team of the season in any season. I'll wait. Let's be sure of the quality of the teams you expected to outdo Man Utd. 2. Solskjaer is a club legend. But you have a problem with Man Utd hiring their club legend. Who's your manager currently? Hypocrisy. 3. VAR U.. Man Utd cheats. Glad to see you support a saintly club. Please remind me the reason Chelsea weren't allowed to sign players this season? |

Housing: I work in an organization where school fees is the major source of income. The organization had ten secondary schools in Lagos State with yearly revenue of of N300Million. With over 18 years experience as administrative staff at the headquarters.
All secondary schools in Lagos State have started their 2nd term examinations before the state government ordered closure of schools. As at then average of 80% expected school revenue had been received.
Most terminal classes had pay even parts of 3rd school fees if not all because school fees for primary six, JSS3 and SSS3 for the whole session will be divided into two and must be paid first half during first term while the second half must be paid before the end of 2nd term. In essence. At least 80% of expected revenue for the payments of March and April have been collected by private schools. A school with 10 branches in Lagos alone doesn't qualify as an average private secondary school to which most private schools in Lagos belong. They definitely have an unwavering revenue collection policy and should easily float any of her branches whose income is falling below requirement. |

U4jane: It is not as easy as you think,if you have been an insider in issues regarding to school fees payment, you will understand that all parents do not pay as at when due. Some even pay installmentally, others pay beckon on the school management to permit their children for a period of time. And if you drive the kids home, some parents have the heart to leave with all the monies they owe the school to another school. Of course, payment for all teachers where I work stopped after March. And the school isn't running an online programme because of the nature of the environment. Where I work, children payments are logged online and anyone with permissions can see the payment history of the students. Exam numbers for term's exams are given to only those who have completed a substantial part of their fees. Plus fee drive is undertaken by teachers. So it's not the proprietor knows 'alone' because we all see through one or most of these ways. |

That's what I was explaining to him. Who no know no go know. I just didn't want to go into confidential information. I just think he doesn't work in the average private school or he probably isn't involved in the financial aspect of the place he works. |

Vanpascore: Oga, i disagree totally with your opinion. These so called proprietors are just wicked. Most of the schools were writing exam before the lockdown, meaning that, payments already made. Besides, they collected for the whole term, Jan - April, but they decided to stop salary at Feb/March haba!!
The questions now are:
i. Won't they collect the money from parents, if they've not done so? ii. Will they pay their staff the outstanding money after resumption? iii. What have they been using the previous monies they collected for?
In conclusion, they are not to be blamed but our government that failed to formulate policies and follow up. You are welcome to disagree 'totally'. I was merely addressing the '96% claim' made by the OP in the payment of school fees, using my experience in a number of schools over some years in my locality, not the 'wickedness' of proprietors. |
Education › Re: How Private School Owners Are Dubiously Cheating Their Teachers by DesChyko: 1:56pm On Jul 17, 2020 |
uromii: ...because they collect their fees per term and this money is paid in whole and they normally demand this money (fee drive) from second week of resumption and their dead line for payments is always that first month of resumption and the lockdown started towords ending of March , almost all school's does this. In other words %96 percent of schools in Nigeria have already collected their pupils school fees... I'm a private school teacher. And I think your analysis above is flawed. This certainly doesn't work for most private schools in Nigeria. At least, not for where I work. Since most private schools are patronized by families that live on somewhere below the middle class income range, I think I have a pretty good idea how they make their payments. Some parents pay early on. Some pay after the first fee drive. Some pay in parts when they get salaries. Some pay whenever those sponsoring the child's education send the money. Some wait until exam time to pay. And some will still not pay that term. And the school will still consider some pleas too. So 96% is a really unrealistic number. I'ld go with 50% at most. What you should insist on instead is the school management seeking other possible ways to ensure their staff get paid. |
