dyydxx1:Tell that to Innoson. |
Chuxserve:Right on the money. See myself and my co-tribesmen just greeting ourselves casually on the street, cooking up one excuse or the other on why we couldn't go to vote. To be productive though, we held a Landlords' meeting yesterday so we can use this precious time we managed to be around en masse to structure out a development/value-appreciating plan for our properties in Lagos. |
dyydxx1:'if you so much detest this place'... Which part of my post gave you this idea pray tell? ![]() I guess you rank close to the opposite end of 'almighty intelligence' if that's what you could cook up from what I posted ![]() |
Afospecialk:At this juncture, you people need to stop abusing that word 'host'. Igbos and Yorubas have different ideologies on how things should be run and this stretches back to how their internal politics are run in their localities. But trying to use the word 'host' as though to silence the views of the people, especially in areas where they constitute majority is downright pathetic. How do you explain this 'host' terminology? What privilege are given to Igbos by the so-called 'hosts' that cannot be gotten elsewhere? Specifically, what privilege is granted to 'immigrants' to Lagos, new and old that qualifies the Yorubas as hosts? Free food? Free accomodation? Free health care? Free business start-ups? ![]() |
Addme:Except if APC rigs it all the way through, PDP would definitely have not less than 5 seats in the House. |
Nigerians. Why can't these people work on e-voting? It will go a long way to eliminate the violence associated with elections. And the best part is that it will be easily accessible forinspection should the need arise. |
"If you die, Nigeria will not feed me", my wife said. But as a patriotic Nigerian, I insisted I must put it to test. I don't believe Nigerians are that carefree. So I asked my three Igbo neighbours what my name was. We laughed over it as I got no reasonable answer from any one of them. I went to my Yoruba neighbours living in clusters in the next compound and asked what my name was. The best I got was 'Uncle' I'ld have asked the Northerner but I guess as he was busy mixing cement and sand to hustle up his daily bread, he may not be willing to entertain my request. So I went back home and played all day long with my kids. Until Nigerian elections become risk-free, this is me every election day. ![]() |
The discrepancy between the writings of the name and the body stands out like a sore thumb. If someone else wrote his name for him, the person who wrote the body is likely suffering from mongoloid idiocy. |
Coming from a state that only paid me 4k our of 60k after my service year. ![]() |
There is only one Zlatan.. Ibra ![]()

yinka10:What does this imply? I thought the reason for handing over is to inspect the veracity of information logged on the devices against the figures posted by INEC. This is looking like an attempt to stifle the assessment. |
Just minutes ago, was telling some of my protegés of how rottweilers tend to attack even their owners at times and are not really advisable to be kept in a compound with much movements around ![]() |
Bullion van coming to my house on election's eve, and I think there can't be anything wrong with it? However genuine his intentions may be, his timing was wrong. |
OneCorner:Oh.. You shouldn't have let the hair dye cover your face too ![]() |
badadvice:How can you say this? A nyash thread without his comment is like a snake thread without lala being mentioned ![]() |
9jaArea:You don't mean it?? But it's being marketed as foreign rice.. ![]() |
otokx:On the sand/stone part; it's something we can definitelt improve on so long as it is heavily patronized. My main concern is that I've not even seen one to buy, as foreign rice is getting as expensive as ![]() |
Oshey!! ![]() Up Naija.. Baddest rice producer!! Reality Check: Click Like if you still buy foreign rice. Click Share if you have never seen sacks of this our Naija rice in your local markets. Quote if you see and eat them anywhere here in Nigeria |
Newly used ![]() I guess the opposite of that would be ...? ![]() |
Ain't that like a Nigerian thing? ![]() Stew first before rice nah ![]() |
This is what happens when a format goes wrong and the formatter gets formatted ![]() |
That if you kept standing while eating, the food will go straight down to your anus ![]() Admit it, we even told our friends this ![]() |
spacofadan:See me here wondering how a comical grammatical banter translates to locating loop holes in people's life ![]() |
I remember sharing my story of how my dogs did something similar and a few number of people found it incredulous sha https://www.nairaland.com/3715761/german-shepherds-kill-snake-hiding |
Aunty has been waiting a loooooong time ![]()

Only you say 'I left the role because it is no longer challenging' Only you still say 'There are really no challenges I can't surmount' Nigerians are complicated people ![]()

Hit.. not Hits. That is past tense. I do wish however, that our economy moves on from progress on paper. Amen ![]() |
fk002:Lol.. Hearsay? Okay. Since you've chosen to play possum, lets leave it at that ![]() |
fk002:The costs of illiteracy are deceptively far-reaching. Illiteracy limits people in developing countries and inner cities, stifles opportunities for innovation and dampens the economic potential of hundreds of millions. Reading and writing are essential skills for economic mobility. In a developed country like America with much reduced illiteracy levels, “$225 billion lost annually … because of unemployment, lack of workplace productivity and crime.” Why am I crying more than the bereaved? Because they are ruining our sincere efforts to get Nigeria working and they are too illiterate to realise that.

Here you are advertising yourself on Nairaland for the world to see. How many of your brethrens can even open a Nairaland account on their own? Here you are describing in words what you feel would be necessary for the world to know, how many of your brethrens are actually educated enough to do that? Here you are telling us how you studiously stuck to religion for morals, relegating Western education to the background. Pray tell, why are we having this post in Western English and not Arabic? Here you are debasing money rituals, prostitution, scammers, e.t.c. all of which lead to people's demise when deep within some of your ilks lurks a violent streak that brings quick and violent demise to people all the same. Here you are degrading people for choosing not to die from Nigeria's violent elections by staying away; berating people for not doing things they do not have faith in where virtually everything you do is guided by your faith, and that includes how you even pee. Here you are praising the exponential rate at which your people reproduce; children who get breasts snatched away from their tender mouths because another is on the way; who are pre-destined to end up living on the streets and fending off the pocket change of those who breed wisely. Here you are insulting a person for preferring to wait until 40 instead of to bring a child into the world to suffer.. I have to ask..is that a man's birthright? Here you are celebrating your 99% virgin brides. Why won't girls who are barely aged 10 when they are married off not be virgins? Here you are indicting us for calling you all almajiris and street beggars, but what different does your voting power make to you all when every year, after flexing the muscles, you still return to the same old dingy corner on the same old dingy lane, feeding off the same old dingy alms? Here you are actually complaining against us for insulting you and your ilks on Facebook and Twitter..those are Western inventions. How did the 'religious' manage to be frolicking on them so as to come across the insults? How did even those who can't recognize a six-letter word actually read it? Someine has been spreading propaganda in their native tongue. Here you are telling the joyous tale of how you promote peace and unity in Nigeria. Fulani Herdsmen are Northerners killing Northerners. Boko Haram are Northerners killing Northerners. Even the recent riot at Ojo after elections involved the Police and guess who? You are right. Northerners. You are a proud Almajiri and abok¡ you said. On that, I agree. You are absolutely correct. #NotCopied. I do my own thinking. |
It's official. Madness now plays a role in who becomes Nigerian President.
