Corrinthians:I would think for one who just secured a massive victory in his life, you'ld be more occupied with repositioning yourself to reap maximum benefits instead being so bothered about the tribe you so gloriously defeated. Did anyone ask you guys to regret working against him?I'm certain no one asked your opinion on their press release, but here you are giving it with full vitriol It is such a shame seeing how elders have chosen to remain aloof in the midst of such glaring display of waywardness by their kith and kin.Get used to the fact that we have a united mindset with our leaders; and that's because unlike certain settings in Nigeria, a group pf men do not dictate for the majority. Rather, the majority dictates the path the leaders take. Let that sink in deep. You people should be deeply worried that most other Nigerians are now coming to identify your tribe with the word HATE. That is truly troubling. You should act now before it becomes too late.By other Nigerians you mean the Buhari-lovers right? Fat chance 'we-people' see them as mentally okay after the past four years . People killing themselves and restricting progress to the selected few actually giving us lessons on being the ones identified with 'LOVE' |
Apex Igbo Organization? ![]() I laugh. Blind ignorance doth mislead thee. An apex organization that doesn't even hold sway over all her people..what then makes it 'apex'? Journalists should spend more time studying igbo political culture to understand that all man is a king unto himself. Even IPOB that has far more grassroot political influence than Ohaneze still can't make all Igbos do their bidding. The Ohaneze understood their mistake when they allegedly endorsed Buhari earlier and got severe backlash from Igbos. So, they simply did the wish of the people; became Atikulated. |
One thing for sure though is that this disdain towards the Northerners will soon wane. It is against human nature to be repeatedly callous towards an entire class of people. However, it is still fresh, how they colluded to retain this disaster of a leadership with their ill-advised voting. A riot instigated by their ilks in my locality a few days back is a pointer to the role they played. They really need mental and psychological emancipation. They can't keep being stup¡d and expect others to keep helping them scale the rewards. I have already decided that for the time being, the purewater sellers get my goodwill from now on. It looks a better investment. |
Xisnin:With the way you're obviously not using your brain, you're probably hoping to sell it as brand new. Keep It up |
In a nutshell, the Abokis that populate Alaba Rago and Okoko decided to go on a celebration rampage, spraying powder, ink and water all over. However the citizens didn't find it funny and made that verbally known. Somehow, the police intervened to restore order and in the resulting meleé, an aboki got run down. The aboki unveiled their typical streak and went on a demolition spree or riot if you will. It is rumoured that a police officer lost his life, the DPO was quite wounded and the police station got damaged. Our main concern was for the returning school kids; which of course, the abokis would know little about. The entire stretch of tarred road from LASU to Igbo Elerin junction and even towards Corner was avoided from 12pm until 3pm/4pm |
He found a way to do it without the SS/SE. We can take solace only from the fact that we meant what we said and we said what we meant. We are not bed fellows with the President. Our votes said so in 2015 and 2019. If anything, our 5% perhaps became 10% with the newest additions.

I think we are okay with the security we had so far. Please, don't step it up. Because it is people like that student who died from 'friendly fire' shortly after preaching against electoral violence that will pay for your increased 'efficiency'. |
Please, begin proceedings against Wike for this 'audio' recording ![]() ..and while we are at it, can we just take a minute to review Gandollar's video? Thank you ![]() |
Interesting read. At least one knows what to prepare for ![]() |
No hope for Nigeria's liberation from the cabals until 2023. It's obvious Buhari's support base has gone beyond followership to fanaticism. I rely on BIAFRA to sustain my resistance against the Northern Agenda until 2023. ![]() |
Oh please. A literate should know when to throw in the towel. It's very obvious Buhari has won. The party that gets the bulk of North Central and South West votes will always win because the South East/South South vote opposite the North West/North East. As there is no obvious way to monitor all elections in all polling units; the BVN should play an active role in modernizing elections in Nigeria One opportunity I will like to call on however, is that these uneducated people littered about Nigeria play a reduced role in how the country transforms. In developed countries, it's education that pushes them forward, and this is the direct opposite of what is obtainable in Nigeria. After watching Buhari who couldn't string two words together coherently on the Candidates, it's obvious the only reason any educated person would side him is if they hope he dies soon as per Fulani leaders' legacy in Nigeria so that the V.P. takes over. The uneducated/unexposed can't know this of course. They're restricted to information by word of mouth/Hausa AM broadcast which is a very powerful means of misinformation and propaganda without the world knowing. Over to Plan B BIAFRA |
Just what we feared.. As if sleeping over the unannounced results last night wasn't risky enough |
Bekindtoall:Not the whole state..and my use of an emoji was a way of saying I meant that that on a light note. I'm just puzzled that after the past 4 years and seeing how the current administration and President's activities is progressing, 'many' could still consider Buhari an option. I preferred to believe though that they're trying to get a message to Saraki, not necessarily stating their belief in Buhari. |
seguntijan:I think unpredictable or unreliable is more like it. In Nigeria, the North East and North West leans to one side while the South East and South South lean to the opposite side. That leaves North Central and South West as being unpredictable and any side with the support of these two carry the day. So I think you're overreaching with your 'owns and determines' here. The North Central has an identical political value in Nigeria's clime. A good name still beat all these political dirty deals. How mature 'democratically' are the Yorubas? A man had two bullion vans in his house for obviously sinister purposes and for all your power and wisdom, this one man seem to wield much control over the rest, it's ironic, really, since no one can call him to order with their 'intrinsic wisdom' ![]() |
ogene70:It is the ignorant housefly that follows the corpse into the grave. |
Saraki, I am sorry this is happening to you but this is good for our democracy. No state is the property of any man. Your family has had this state in their pockets for a long time, it's a welcome development that the people have decided to TAKE IT BACK! Although they are quite foolish to be voting Buhari in again but you can understand it's their way of saying 'Enough is Enough'. ![]() Atiku all the way. |
baliyubla:GEJ is more than ten times the quality of a man than this current fool is. See Nigeria whom were being heralded as being democratically mature amongst her peers just four years ago are witnessing all manner of electoral inconsistency today. How can one man manage to get almost everything wrong.. How? Buhari's passport should replace the definition of inefficient in the Oxford dictionary. |
ozo13:In Imo? This time four years ago, Rochas actively won votes for APC, especially in Owerri/Orlu zones. I guess it's not so rosy anymore. |
TIGRITIS:Rather, President of educated literates. Unfortunately, that counts for little in Nigeria evidently. |

The election that brought the current president into power was championed by another president who consistently maintained that his political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian. Today's election is currently championed by a president who from the onset declared death on sight penalty for defaulter..duly advised by one who preached bodybags for observers who didn't do 'their bidding'. Look where we are now. |
StOla:No. They ask all Nigerians to go back to the East to vote. It's a wonder how you impressively fool yourself |
Obviously to make more money from polithiefcians dem. This one has gone beyond hunger to greed. Sad thing is, this is predominant in the North. |
lathrowinger:

TIGRITIS:But the report didn't say PDP and the post you quoted didn't mention clamping down, neither did the poster speak. He typed; hence the shut up is out of place. Learn to stick with reality. |
Printerscanner:We can live with ballots being snatched than carrying out the will of a blood thirsty jihadist. Carry your evilness remain for your lane abeg. |
babaolofin:And they sacrificed common sense. If you know the bolded and you understood my post, common sense dictates that you shouldn't have mentioned. |

Whatever point the OP was trying to make is most likely senseless. This is a polling unit, not a state orientation centre being attended by people from all over Nigeria. Why should people be in a polling unit which is most likely close to their houses by 2AM?? Especially in a region that is characterized by violence at given points in time? To plant bombs? Hide weapons under cover of the night? Profile escape routes? Or to do something more sinister like use 'illegal voters cards' or start thumbprinting? For all the 'shoot on sight' threat, this is pathetic, allowing incursions into a sensitive place hours before stipulated time. |
