pedel:It's not your business. He's not even your village chief, nor is he responsible for your upkeep in any way. Hence, inquiring after such should be on a personal level, which you currently are not privy to. On the other hand, PMB is answerable to his utterances. Hell, if you blindly shield a President from his responsibility, what then prevents him from seeing it as a cheap avenue to enrich himself? |
Well, if it were easy for the war of corruption to be fought and won, no doubt it'ld have happened before PMB's time. But others have found it so tough and inciting that they abandoned it and 'joined them' since they couldn't beat them. So, when we see a willing soul, we should lend our support and hope it turns out good. That being said, the aspect I'm very much concerned with is that the President is being quite offhand in his dealings. From associating himself with odd elements of the society to win elections, to making unrealistic promises during the campaign, up to spending over a quarter of his tenure outside the country, he is repeating the very style of governance we've seen at one point or the other since 1999. And he's also doing so in a manner reminiscent of the junta era. Perhaps, he should have been decent enough to let us understand he is no different from others because what was touted to be #Change looks like #Revert |
Nevertheless, the connection was made and all concerned parties should take note. Although you are setting the record straight, it sure appears like you're pleading. |
While this has its advantages, the cities of the country are bound to problematic and where there are violent persons, it'll take more than a stun gun or unusual machoism to stop them. |
Even if there was a rerun, the outcome would be no different; just a waste of funds that aren't available. Perhaps, that is why ex-President Jonathan would always be a hero. |

The society see it as a sign of irresponsibility because of its evil disposition. |
€ is 4. You don't even need much calculation. €/€ is 1. €/6 + €/12 = 1 ; Multiply through by 12. 2€ + € = 12. You can take it from there. |
prettyboi1:Whether you remove the yam because of the goat or you remove the goat because of the yam, it's the same thing. They're not together. |
EKSamuel:This Prophet will be transferred soon to a remote area for meddling with politics! |
comradee1248:Initially, I was not a supporter of Biafra. The objectives were not clear and realistic enough for one to blindly follow suit. I'm just appreciating the work of the producer. Despite attempts by many to underestimate and marginalise the igbofolk, we still stand firm. On the other hand, the government is just giving Kanu celebrity status, and that is their undoing. The average igbo man is a king unto himself and doesn't enjoy being pressured beyond his will. Trying to use Kanu as a way of deterring other Biafran activists is a gamble that will fail most probably, and awaken the stubborn streak in some igbofolk, winning more supporters for the movement. That made me really look within, study the Nigerian climate more, and realise that truly, we deserve much more than we've gotten so far. |
At least he is going to jail for something right. For the truth |
I think your range of location should also be included. |

vault:Do you know what 'forging' means? ![]() Who can accuse or arrest the producer for this product? |
Two things. 1. The nation is self-sufficient. 2. Threats cannot dampen determination. Nnamdi Kanu may be a sacrificial lamb. With the way the govt is going about it, they may even successfully make a martyr out of him. But one sure thing is: The idea has been revived and re-inculcated in the igbo folk. It'll take more than panicky detentions to rub it off. #ProudlyIgbo! |
NgeneUkwenu:The question now is, in the face of over 20 million South-Easterners , who are you? You see, the fact that we have a brain capable of handling our thought processes tends to mislead us into exaggerating our importance or influence in the society at large. If only you know how barbaric your submissions are, you'll perhaps switch allegiance to North Korea. |

*smiling* Unrest everywhere.. Perhaps this is karma. God see us through it all. |
Lord have mercy.. Controversy everywhere. |
The issue is that the country is out of control. In this particular case, there is no serious monitoring of how the prices of the product goes, from the marketers down to the retailers. Along the way, the middlemen may have paid above the regulated price and this inflation is their way of recovering the extra expense; or it may be that the workers aren't being paid enough for their struggles; or it could simply be down to greed. Whatever the reason is, there is no official complaints channel established that responds appreciably to these misdemeanours. Unfortunately, the person that can ably re-address this issue can only be reached via international call (i.e. Mr President) |
Caseless:I hope you're aware of your parents' views of Jonathan as well? They will be mighty sad if they fall into this category. |
No one knew what caused the brawl. No one may ever know. One thing for sure is they didn't handle the issue well, as justified by how things ended. A sad loss for the bereaved, and a thorough lesson for us all. Keeping a level-head for a tiny moment in 365 whole days can just buy us another year of life. |
First, we will thank God for her life.

Lol. The same modus operandi employed by the military in the past government is still being employed now. The only difference is the roles are reversed. Those criticising such moves and publicity are now defending it. Nigeria is comic ![]() |

Wow.. I think he should have been made aware of it before you embarked on it. That must have been his anger. Nonetheless, he's your man. You know if it's best to tackle it now or later if he cools off. It has to be apologies and accepting wrongs. Even if it was in your plans, one of you isn't comfortable with the process so some gentle voice and explanation from one or both sides should do the trick. But I don't know if announcing that he's on Nairaland is a good idea o. It should be an internal issue. Two wrongs don't make a right. Men can get irrational over even insignificant issues, I think it's an ego thing. But some submissive docility can do the trick. Good Luck! |
Jonathan is useless for us till 2019 - or forever. That's how leadership should be. Let the man rest or whatever, our focus now is Buhari and his campaign promises. |
Lol.. Investigator dey para ![]() Some songs are meant to be left the way they are. This song had a mellow tone with complete reverence to God for his gifts to them. That was obviously Humblesmith and Phyno's concept in the initial mix. Perhaps, he was just not willing to talk down Davido because the song sort of lost its complete reverence in the remix. He should have known before it was reproduce. |

?? Even an average Igbo man cannot do that unless stag poor, despite all this ojukwu still abandon the fight for Nigeria's sake, that Nnamdi Kanu is only looking for a cheap popularity which he got but will cost him his life
