Ask the same question for the blue part on the extreme North East.
I asked the person who posted that where I needed clarification. You can ask the poster if and where you need clarification as well. I do not have to share in your confusion.

Thanks for the interest.

Kings don't have jobs? In my opinion, he shouldn't wear the crown while doing it, except he's trying to lead by example to show there is dignity in labour.

Please everybody is facing the challenges.Dont make it look like it is all rosy for everyone.
It certainly isn't rosy for this one. Even the ant, as small as it is, is above the ground. What it stands to show is that irrespective of how downtrodden anyone is, there is always someone going through worse.

The least we can do is lend a helping hand wherever and whenever we can.

Op

Research shows that both started out as young tennis prodigy at a tender age but one of them Jacqueline whose mother was a Ukrainian, eventually turned out later in Life to be one of the best criminal and defense immigration lawyers in Texas, USA

while the other one whose mother was Belarusian unfortunately turned out this way.
Thanks for this insight 👊🏾

An X user, Chude Nnamdi, who goes by the name @chude__ shared this story

It breaks my heart to see a former Nigerian Tennis Champion in the street like this 💔

I looked up Tanya Okpala and Jacqueline Okwueze (the names mentioned) and they show up as Nigerian tennis prodigies who also represented Africa. Jacqueline was also a Lawyer in Texas.
Why she is now commonly seen on Abakaliki Street, Awka, wandering until nightfall is anyone's guess.

For me, three things that stood out in the video are:

1. She appears mentally unbalanced. In this video. That makes one wary of the percentage of truth in what she says. It could be concluded that she confirmed to drug use to keep her in check.

2. She spoke of being abused and racially profiled. Such things must not be allowed to stand. Individuals and affiliated agencies should please look into this.

3. She needs help. In her own case, she also needs who will manage the help she gets as going by this video, I don't think she can do that on her own. Anambra State Government should please lead the charge.

I almost shed tears listening to her. My best guess is drug abuse played a part in all of these. It's something we all must fight to a manageable level.

PoliticsRe: Those Opposing Relocation Of CBN, FAAN Depts Are Mischief-Makers – Shettima by DesChyko: 9:25am On Jan 28, 2024
I'm in support of headquarters cited where what they oversee are. CBN relocating to Lagos in all its entirety is welcome. The same should be done to all other agencies. Every agency should be sited in the region where they have relevance.

What will be unpalatable however, is not finishing what was started.
Christianity EtcRe: Should Church Music Instrumentalists Be Paid For Their Duties? by DesChyko:
We must be realistic. Churches recruit instrumentalists and pay them heavy just to come and play. They even recruit technicians on weekly basis to manage their setups. If any church can do that on a whim, they should have no problems paying those who do that without an additional stress from the church.

In their defence, God has given them a talent to feed with. It will be silly if them to let that go without actualisation. Especially as a Nigerian.

I have this friend, who had similar issues with where he worships. As a string instrumentalist, he only asked for 3k after each Sunday service, I think (before all these inflation). He already makes some quid on weekdays from services and vigils he performs. He always discussed this with me, but mehn, no be me go tell you make you leave House of God o 🤣.

One day, he called it quits and left, with the pastors and members saying all sorts. That's how he became available for contracts. He attends service wherever he plays on Sundays. It didn't take long for the church to realise how expensive it is to hire instrumentalists around and they wanted him back. Unfortunately, the ship had left the harbour as he was now highly sought after and quite pricey too. He also sought my opinion on this but Omo, no be me go tell you make you drop where you dey feed from before you go use beg finish me 😏

PoliticsRe: Police Recruitment: Otti Concerned As 700 Abia Candidates Shun Interview by DesChyko:
I daresay the Nigerian Police Force is largely a disgraceful and volatile occupation. They're underpaid and overworked. They're hardly in the news for anything nice, as long as I remember.

Reform the Nigerian Police to become more honourable and attractive so youths can see that as a profession worth pursuing.

These days, if you ask a bunch of secondary school leavers what they want to become, you won't hear policeman from them 🤷🏾‍♂️

PoliticsRe: Senator Nwoko Initiates Bill On Monthly Payment Of Rent by DesChyko: 8:04pm On Jan 27, 2024
I do not agree to this. Landlords find it easier to plan income use when the rent comes in bulk like that. Tenants also have time to hustle to meet up with yearly rent; after which they can ease up on the gas.

On the other hand, every tenant will confirm the value of their hustle. If you're under pressure to meet up with your monthly rent, then, you need a better hustle.
