For a heist well done, I reckon. Shame. After all the allegation of widespread corruption in INEC.. What did the DSS do undercover to investigate the matter? Zilch. Did the NPF conduct any sting operation to verify the incident? Nope. Was any topdog arraigned or convicted for the no-shows in the end? At all. Even the Rivers State heist was swept under the carpet before our very own eyes. BEFORE OUR VERY OWN EYES. All of them at the top, turned an eyeless eye socket. It wouldn't be out of place for a green-white-green colored map of Nigeria to replace the definition of corruption in the next edition of Oxford Learners Dictionary. |
MrProlific95:I guess the difference is he recanted in the same one video and didn't bother editing that part off. I guess Ola had all the time in the world to verify and edit before putting it out there, but hey, it's Nigeria where anything sells. I saw the Ola video and bought it so I didn't bother verifying but stored that information anyways. This is a welcome video from the white dude because it cut short misinformation that was already widespread. That aside, Ola is a global brand. If he didn't know that before, he certainly does now. This is a wake-up call to his popularity, so more grease to his elbows 💪🏾 |
Surface2AirToto:My advice to you is that you read more. Average statistical analysis by renowned experts show that 20% of new businesses fail during the first two years of being open, 45% during the first five years, and 65% during the first 10 years. Only 25% of new businesses make it to 15 years or more. We are yet to plug in the Nigerian factor. Just so you know, there are employees raking in more than you make monthly, and whose job security may outlast your business, statistically speaking. I'm not sure how old your business is but you'd want to focus more on putting your head down and holding unto your horses. Everyone has a path and everyone will explore it. There is no manual to life, so no pressure anyone. If there were half as many successful businesses/self-employed people, we'd as well be headed for trade by barter. |
Sure.. Lol. Maybe not many but there are. Going by the more popular comments here, sorry for the laugh, I wrongly assumed it's common knowledge because I happen to work remotely for a firm. I don't believe they are the only ones though. I have colleagues who live in Abuja and Rivers but have been working where I work for about 4 years (I just joined last year). We come to the same office space every 5 days in a week. The physical offices are in Lagos. |
It does work really well for us although I try to practice other methods alongside it. No contraceptive method functions at 100%, except vasectomy I reckon. My family uses it and it really helps us in spacing. Best part is, it can easily be removed. I also used to think it uncomfortable because I can feel it off my partner's arm but she says it's fine. 😏 |
This one is a Constable 😁 That's the new sound. |
Well, David Hundeyin did mention 2025. It looks like he won this one. I remember one Agbado activist saying it' December if it takes too long. It looks like he lost this one. All in all, we are making too much fuss about Dangote Refinery. Even if it solves a public need, it's still a private establishment at its core. Nigeria has 4 refineries. Suck on that. |
I find this a norm to an extent within the Niger Delta 😁. At first, when I heard Tompolo's first name was 'Government', I dismissed it as a nickname when he got fame. But when I served on a Delta Island, Omo.. With surnames like Lucky, John, Stephen (their fathers' names), the children still bear stranger names like Courage or Federal, and a dizzying array of the more familiar foreign first names 😁 Imagine using such to troll a child; that's disgusting. In hindsight, Reno ought to know where to draw the lines. Something like this can be used to abuse children, who played no role in having their names. |
The anger Nigerians dey take invest in speedbumps sha 😡 If you no want make people pass there, kuku build fence across the road instead of constructing artificial hill. Nairaland and this Osun road picture 🤝

It used to be standard tradition that people in mourning shave their beards. If he decides to do so, even for another reason, that's his funeral. Let's move on. |
It's a small world so the 'not knowing him' is a matter of time. On twitter, a lady was shaming a guy because she aired him in his DM when another guy shamed the lady because he also aired her. E fit be your fiancée tomorrow o 🌚 Why buy the cow if another will be getting the milk for free? 😏 |
FILEBE:I took my time to go through your posts on Nairaland and I like how balanced and rational your submissions are, irrespective of whose ox is gored. People like you are necessary in this seemingly out of control space. You just earned a follower 😎 |
No wonder their marriage lasted just 1 year and six months. 😎 MODIFIED: I'm at a loss if those liking this post understood the sarcasm or are just plain ignorant. The post directly below by MadamExcellency clearly states the number of years they lived together. If you know you liked this post out of ignorance, please take it back 😡🤬 |
Yugoslavia247:Great thinking boss. Technology-driven innovation will be critical to moving our country to the next level. |
The myth of this investigator has been burst. He is not constitutionally empowered to carry out this task as there are more than one government agency that can do that. He should handover his findings to these bodies and let them take it from there. |
