EmperorCaesar:Just a reminder that you systematically exempted yourself from the ethnic bigots in the post below: EmperorCaesar:A leopard never hides it's spots 😎 |
Yes, I would. Where is the moral right to challenge the government for not being up and doing if you are not meeting up with your obligations. |
Starting when? Before sharing the update with fellow travellers, I checked out the fares minutes ago and it's 27k to 38k As comparison, someone who left for Onitsha three nights ago boarded 16,500 on Night bus from Lagos. https://gigm.com/ https://www.ysgtransport.ng/ |
Can 'God Is Good' (GIG) Motors or 'Young Shall Grow' (YSG) Motors, a.k.a. 'The Young' confirm that they have reached an agreement with FG on this? Their prices is speaking the same language 😏

See cobwebs everywhere ![]() How do we catch up on all that we have missed now? |
It's great to be back. Can Seun shed more light on the manner of abuse that made it to be yanked off? If it's something from the users' end or just a technical term. That way, we can collectively do our bit in making sure it doesn't happen again. 😑 |
Phew! What a relief ![]() I just subconsciously refreshed the website for the sixth time this morning, and boom |
Lord have mercy. Allowing kids to roam free is always a No! No! Teach your kids to stay indoors. Teach your kids to be security conscious at all times!! Here in Lagos where we reside, the same hands I was raised with is the same hands I'm raising my kids with. I do not allow my kids to leave the house at all, except when on an errand, which they are always strictly timed. All these unnecessary mingling is not for me and my family. Stay put and learn the family values before you become a teenager. Sometimes I get moved when they longingly look outside the windows where other kids are playing; Sadly but thankfully, there are incidents like this that serve as a reminder that even our bests are not even enough. I hope their kids are found hale and hearty 🥲 |
Meanwhile, there was a caught. Guess who is there to take lessons😁😁

Goodnewsforlife:I don't understand. When you said 'veritable' link in your post below 👇 Goodnewsforlife:Did you mean the akelicious link you posted above? 😒 Not clicking that sh*t bruv. I'll manage Punch or Vanguard or the likes where I can read or watch for myself, mind you, a quote from Obiano himself like you claimed, not something someone said on his behalf, which gives him deniability. I believe such truth must be present on the 'veritable' mainstream media, No? |
SpatialKing:Yes Boss. We all need one another; not all these yeye transactional politics dividing us from our common goal. |
Goodnewsforlife:Oh, that's easy. We should have that on Nairaland somewhere; a document he signed himself; and other reports. I'll modify once I get it ASAP. Modified: https://www.nairaland.com/7175783/peter-obis-hand-over-note What's more, the then Chairman of Diamond Bank, now Governor of Abia State, confirmed in 2017 that Peter Obi saved $50m each with them and Access Bank, and $56m in Fidelity. Not to forget that each of these banks had their officials present during the handover. You are welcome to refute all of this. I love the Obiano part and I look forward to it. Oh, and you couldn't provide any governor you support who saved $1 for their state. Keep that in mind. |
Goodnewsforlife:Yeah. The only part of the ruling class that left $150m saved for his state. I challenge you to bring forth any of those you promote here that saved $1 for their state; you can begin with Tinubu. Your time starts now.
|
EmperorCaesar:You aren't one of them? Or you didn't know the account you're posting with? Anyways, it's a great thing Moyo had the Igbo boys around in Lagos where this happened. Humanity over elections. |
Listen in here: https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1lPKqbjEdmYGb Key Points Peter Obi: Even if renovations have been planned since 2010, a government in power should be sensitive to the plights of their people when they are in power. Peter Obi: Within one month when I resumed office, Nigerian Legal Council shut down the Faculty of Law in Anambra State University. I had to put aside the plan for the Governor's Lodge building and look into putting that Faculty in order, which is of a higher priority so that the law students will not be thrown out of school. Peter Obi: The way we are going today doesn't reflect the bankrupt nature of the country; whether it is going to Dubai or building lodges here and there. We are borrowing for consumption, not investment. So the first thing to do was to apply brakes on consumption; cut aggressively, the cost of governance. Peter Obi: For the young voters, don't get disillusioned. That is the plan of your oppressors. With time, we will dismantle this criminality. The money that is being borrowed today by the leaders in their 70s and 80s, will be repaid by you, young Nigerian, with some of them being bonds that are payable in 2040s. Many of these borrowers will not be alive then. For the sake of your children, your country and humanity, don't give up. Peter Obi: I'm just a member of Labour Party, I'm not a member of the National Working Committee or Executives of Labour Party. Everything that happens in Labour Party is decided by the managers. However, a party does not stop an elected leader from executing their duties. If I decided to go to COP, Dubai with only 5 people, my party cannot say No. We should not mix those two. A lot of OBIdients were not members of Labour Party. I always advised the NWC to try and carve the best candidates in your primaries because I, Peter, cannot control it. The idea of democracy is to look at who is the best candidate and vote for the person. Peter Obi: The Zero-Carbon idea of COP will be negotiated because we are yet to be developed. We cannot just go along with their ideas when we are yet to be developed. China weren't going along with them, but not that they have achieved development, they can now afford to look towards Zero-Carbon. For us, we have other critical problems like hunger to tackle first. So we will negotiate with them and let them see what we are trying to achieve. Peter Obi: No Nigerian Governor, since my time, that has been able to save $1. There is no law that mandates Peter Obi to save. I have been accused of saving money and eating up the interest. Imagine if every Nigerian leader has been saving money for the country, and eating only the interest. The capital we will have now would have been very beneficial. Peter Obi: Fidelity Bank is not tied to my name. It has about 500,000 shareholders. Also, Access Bank of Nigeria and Diamond Bank of Nigeria. I invested about 60 million dollars in bonds in each of the banks. Imagine if Anambra had that value today, which should be about 300 million dollars at the current value of over N1000 to a dollar "The people with the old order are the ones promoting tribal bigotry and they are saying they'll crush this Peter Obi. Our country is divided by politicians who want it like that because of their selfish gains," -Peter Obi on Parallel Facts. "When there was bomb blast in Kaduna that killed our innocent Muslim brethren, I went there, those shouting Muslim Muslim ticket did not go there." -Peter Obi on Parallel Facts. The Senate President is an uncommon person and I don’t like doing things with uncommon people. I won the election not just in Lagos and Ebonyi, I won the elections in Nigeria. If not for Nigeria being an uncommon place we all know what happened. - Peter Obi replies Sen Akpabio. Nobody serious goes around looking for Foreign investors. It is like Bee and Honey. Foreign investors only stay where there is rule of law; not a society governed by rascality - Peter Obi "Quite frankly, let me thank the movement. Thank you for all you do. I want the movement to stay together. Don't see it as if you're doing all these for Peter Obi but for yourself. I assure you, I'll never let you down. You'll never find me wanting," - Peter Obi Fellow Nigerians, are you aware that the Students from Akwa-Ibom (the Senate President's state) who were kidnapped on their way to NYSC camp are still in captivity yet the Senate President went to throw Lavish 61st Birthday in a 30,000 Stadium Capacity? What kind of a Leader does that?

When I saw you're a fellow school teacher, I was compassionate to your plea but I cannot relate to you returning 20k because it was short of 7k. 😑 It puts you in a really tough situation. Now you'll have to fight for all of it with nothing. |
Imagine sowing weed and hoping to harvest corn. 😏 |
Obaofaba:Lagos. That's how I know so much about the rot here. Where are you typing from? |
Caseless:Isn't that the whole point? The state's debt rises higher than the IGR. Which begs the question, what does the IGR actually do? Are they just doctored numbers, which would more likely explain why the former is so. Only once had the state's debt actually dropped since 1999, which was under Ambode. Since then, phew! Which is the same for the average Nigerian states actually. So, what's the difference? |
That's up to LP and those who sponsored their ticket. We must begin to look beyond party and focus on the substance of the individual. Obaofaba:Very weird take. Last it was checked, Abia is one of the states with the least multidimensional poor people. And while you're at the debt table, are you aware that Lagos, the crown jewel of Nigeria, is actually sitting on a total debt stock of 2 trillion naira, which is about 30 times the total debt stock of Abia State. That's for the pride of Africa. Maybe you should keep off this discussion. |
Dear EFCC, Come and see something. Sincerely, Me. |

As we continue to work towards the New Nigeria of our dreams, it is important that we keep the conversation going on the roles we all have to play. I will, therefore, be on X Space hosted by @ParallelFacts on Sunday 17th December 2023 by 7pm WAT. I look forward to interacting with you all on Nation-Building. A New Nigeria is POssible. - PO The last time Peter Obi appeared on a Twitter Space, it broke into the Top 10 world record attendance on such spaces. https://twitter.com/PeterObi/status/1735741493392920837?t=ClG6K12zT9SIjoIKCxseMA&s=19

Hypocrisy never fail to show up 😎 What business does a person who is at the forefront of tribal bigotry and anti-Igbo stance everywhere have with this picture below? 😁
|
He should enjoy his retirement. Meanwhile, Sunday, December 17 is the code. Make it a date.

I think you are more attracted by the confirmed knowledge that the possibility of sex without consequences is higher ![]() However, you may learn a lifetime lesson on why men are called chasers and women are hunters 😏 |
Nice one, Oshiomole. However, if this energy is not replicated across board, it can be perceived as an attack or show-off. |
Pathetic from Man Utd. We have lost half of our games all season. |
