Christistruth00:Okay. Is that why you lots are using bot accounts to like your posts? 🤔 |
seunmsg:You sound like you won't read it. Hope you won't be arguing or crying over something you're obviously not interested in from Day 1 😎 Throwback:Okay o. The proverbial ignorant fly that follows the corpse to the grave. Let's look at an interview hosted by Premium Times from yesteryears. The witness below is from a Tinubu supporter, Akib A. Abiola, about him and Tinubu in the 1990s before the corns-semantics began to go round 👇

E good to dey read beyond the headlines sha. I do not understand why Cable is recycling news. Did we not read this before the Supreme Court judgement from the same Cable, at least, a week ago? https://www.thecable.ng/us-court-declines-request-on-release-of-tinubus-personal-records-by-fbi-cia/amp

Ehn ehn.. You don't mean it 😁 Mynd44, OAM4J, Dominique Rule 8.

onumadu:Exactly. I was quite surprised to see foundations of what we experience today in those years. It was not a great idea to outlaw History from our curriculum. Easier to solve problems when the root cause is known. |
Not much has changed today. The patterns of old are still visible. 👉Bar the recent emergence of the OBIdients, there is still not much interest in the elections across the years. 👉The North and The South are still valid terms in Nigerian economic and political climate, with a lot of meanings and undertones. 👉The North experiences peaceful elections year after year. Most of the electoral violence is down South. 👉The East still exhibits an almost unanimous voting pattern (choosing to massively boycott then Vs choosing to vote a particular candidate now) 👉Northern Nigeria have always had the numbers. Always. 👉Electoral violence is synonymous with elections in Nigeria. 👉 Lagos probably exhibits the higher levels of electoral violence. 👉 Elections had always been a game for the elites. The opinion of the masses are secondary. 👉 Call it Biafra, Oduduwa Nation, or whatever name it bore or choose to bear, Nigeria always had to contend with agitations. |
December 31, 1964 The United Progressive Grand Alliance, based in the Nigerian south, called tonight for a conference to break up the Federation of Nigeria peacefully after a massive boycott of today's national elections by millions of its supporters. The Alliance's statement cast a pall over the future of Nigeria —the most populous nation in Africa and the continent's most prominent democracy. The boycott in almost all areas of the south threatened to split Nigeria in two. Voting was normal only in the vast Moslem‐dominated Northern Region, whose Nigeria National Alliance was assured of victory in this first nationwide election since Nigeria became independent of Britain in 1960. More than 300 seats in Parliament were at stake. The boycott was almost totally effective in the Eastern Region, whose Ibo tribesmen have long feared domination by the more numerous Moslem Hausas to the North. The Nigerian South consists of three regions —the Eastern, Mid‐West and Western. The Northern Region embraces the rest of the country, covering almost two‐thirds of the land area, and is the most populous. There was virtually no voting in Enugu, the Eastern capital, and in Port Harcourt, also in the Eastern Region, where all polling stations were; destroyed by bands of the United Progressive Grand Alliance. Almost all the metal sheeted1 polling booths In Ibadan, the Western Region capital, werei destroyed last night. Voting was, delayed until midday when a few booths were repaired and policeman and army patrols were called out to protect small knots of Yoruba tribesmen seeking to cast their ballots. A faction of the Yorubas is allied with the Northerners in the dominant Nigeria National Alliance. In the Lagos suburb of Mushin, two men were shot and killed and a third wounded when the police opened fire on a mob attempting to batter a temporary polling station. The United Progressive Grand Alliance's call for a conference to break up the federation heightened fears of Western diplomats and many Nigerians here that the, Eastern Region was on the brink of secession. The Eastern Region's National Council of Nigerian Citizens forms the backbone of the United Progressive Grand Alliance, which is allied with the Opposition Action Group of the Western Region. Tonight's announcement said that the Progressive Grand Alliance “would not accept any government based on the results of today's elections.” The Prime Minister, Sir Abubaker Tafawa B'alewa, rejected last‐ditch Progressive Grand Alliance demands that the election be postponed because of alleged suppression of scores of its candidates attempting to run in the North. The result of the elections was a victory for the Northern People's Congress, which won 162 of the 312 seats in the House of Representatives, whilst the NNA held a total of 198 seats. Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was re-elected Prime Minister of Nigeria. However, the election was marked by manipulation and violence. The danger of secession was first noted officially by President Nnamdi Azikiwe in a dawn broadcast to the nation three weeks ago. Considered the “father” of Nigeria's independence movement, the former National Council of Nigerian Citizens Leader from the Eastern Region called for an end to rising campaign violence throughout the federation. https://www.nytimes.com/1964/12/31/archives/key-nigeria-party-urges-a-breakup-seeks-parley-on-dissolution-after.html nlfpmod, Mynd44, OAM4J

StreetFight:You get? I do not share your religion but I certainly share your view of no concern. War concerns are for citizens whose countries don't have third world problems. |
There are about 100,000 IDP camps in just the Northern State of Borno alone. But hey, they're in 'excellent hands' already, I guess. Let's forgo the idea of misplaced priorities for a minute, can infidels contribute to the cause or...🤔 |
As seen on twitter, a video where Sheikh Gumi calls for donation for the Palestine cause.

Okay. That's Nasarawa's business. No point meddling. I'm sure the people know what's best for them and will act accordingly. |

Primusinterpares:The bolded was one of the causes of the recent fracas between traders and thugs working for LASG in Alaba Int'l market. The thugs were bringing in people to trade along the roads and the shop owners didn't want that to continue. |
It's a government of criminality!! A truth-seeking invention in the iREV that gulped billions of naira in infrastructure and personnel across the years was waved away with the flick of a wand by different arms of government in collusion. It doesn't make sense that INEC set out realtime guidelines in line with current realities and they become dud cheques before a law established ages ago and out of sync, compared to the Guidelines. It doesn't make sense that an invention which consumed a significant portion of taxpayers' money failed to work on the very day it was needed; for the very exercise it was meant for; and no explanation was offered beyond a word 'glitch'. No heads rolled either. What a pity! |
Amuwo Odofin o, Ojo o, Oshodi-Isolo o, Eti-Osa o, Labour Party is CLEAR! |
stuffs2002:You propaganda-ed you way through your avid support for Buhari's excellence 2015 through 2023. And you're showing no signs of slowing down, just few months after admitting Buhari was a disaster (after 8 years of admitting he wasn't.) Anyways, your brothers will not be happy you're selling them out in the name of propaganda. And none of them is even named Joseph.

solreb:Thank you very much for this submission. Individuals with more education are more likely to use the Internet. By and large, web users are also better informed. So if the higher percentage of internet users are swaying one way, you'd likely want to take their opinions quite seriously. In a country like Nigeria, you'd definitely want to take them more seriously than the less-informed. Hence the submission:👇 And a larger percentage of productive Nigerians agree with me. |
I would suggest: 1. Each hospital get a signed permit from the Police Force to actually do this. The NPF can host an online platform for this. 2. Each hospital immediately place a call to NPF when they have such a case to track such incident. |
Justice has been served to you, for sure. However, this is not about you. It's about a country and we had a better representative of who we want to be as a people. You have too many baggage to be considered the best we have to offer, I'm sorry. There was a better man at the poll, perhaps, the best fit we have had in a long long while. And a larger percentage of productive Nigerians agree with me. |
Iraq abstained? 😎 Perhaps it is understandable for Iraq since they've shown disapproval of Hamas intent to start this war.

Peachy14:It's a suspended person that's speaking on their behalf. In fact, anytime you read any stupid news from Labour Party or Ohaneze, check the person behind it. 😎 Ohaneze has even forgotten Isiguzoro exists. It's mischievous newspaper editors that are mesmerized by brown envelope.

CLRF:Congratulations, boss.

GNLD.. The GOAT of Scam Interviews I saw their vacancy advert and applied. Got their message inviting me for an interview due to my impressive CV. I'm just fresh into the Labour market and my grades were not on the CV but WTH.. They said impressive, so nothing else mattered. I was in cloud 8 😌 So I approached Henry, who joyfully lent me the same suit he gave me during my project defence. Henry is broader at the shoulders so the suit was supposed to be bigger at the shoulders. However, I think the impressive praise I got expanded my shoulders to angle 90 to fit the suit so I no wan hear say e no match.😑 I spent about 90% of my muscle mass and the energy from the food I ate that day ironing razor sharp gators into the suit trousers. Hopefully, they will clear the path for me 😎. That's how son of man prepared o, thinking my breakthrough was finally here. The LUDE polish saw depreciation that night as I generously applied it to the brogues to hide the age of the shoes. They always said then that how you dressed is how you want to be addressed. 5 A.M., and I was on the way to Yaba, to meet up with this high profile, Fortune 500 Company with a Potential to Empower The Youths of Tomorrow, as per their description in the SMS. I navigated the alleys with a chip on my shoulder (bro, I'm wearing suit and brogues, what do you expect?), and finally arrived at the venue. 😌 The venue? I remember thinking. This is just like an empty space with all these benches in football centre and tarpaulin demarcation here and there. Even the people there, the way they were dressed, I kuku concluded that if this was the place, we are not here for the same thing. After all, one brilliant man said 'Don't judge a book by its covers' (Ogun later kee this man sha).🔥 I sha brought out my BIRD flip phone and dialled my boss (who later introduced himself as Line Manager, which is a term I found impressive (for about 2 hours)). This man came out, but he didn't dress like CEO with his SAMSUNG blue light phone (those business centre model) 😐. On the other side, Mark Zuckerberg sef dey wear one Kain shirt with trouser so make I chill. He said I should go with him and I did. That's how we passed different groups of people o, until we reached where this man kept his own army of recruits. I was given a seat and I nodded to all those other guys (some of whom dressed to kill too.). Okay, let's do this.😎 That's how this man began to talk long story o. From history of Golden Neolife Diamite and all those things, to how leg and leg will multiply to give more legs, to selling health products to buying starter pack.. Omo. Is this interview or training for the interview. At a point, I had to ask o and he started another story that described how 'Salary is slavery-something-something..'. Imagine telling me that came to chop your money with my impressive CV that what you are supposed to pay me is slavery.. In that case, enslave me abeg, that's what I'm here for. I didn't come for freedom nah 🥲 When I saw that ontop the heat dealing with me inside this borrowed suit, Oga was not ready to enslave anybody, instead, wanted to chook hand inside our pocket, I excused myself and left to take a serious decision. I had a serious decision to make between concocting a story on how the interview I dressed to kill for went or how God will punish GNLD. I later settled for the latter and told whoever cared to listen that once they see people sitting down in clutches in any interview center, they should leave immediately and send 'God Punish You' to the person that reached out to them. 🤬 Now that I think of it, God will still punish them 🤬 |
muykem:If Tinubu and his men were as smart, they would have known how to copy well. That's how they copied Peter Obi's first post, not knowing it has continuation. When Obi said 'remove subsidy', he meant that as a warning not an instant instruction. You missed that and now look at the economy. What they copied Vs The entire post 👇

It's always the expelled and suspended ones granting press interviews on behalf of the organization. Identity theft just like a certain person's legacy to Nigeria; nothing more.

Normal. Same format. This is a card-carrying APC Presidential aspirant and former CBN governor. He has their dirty secrets and had the party by the balls. Anything short of eliminating him, nothing will happen to Emefiele. All those grandstanding fooled those who want to be fooled. We already saw this coming. DesChyko: |
I bought this phone for #88,200 in October 2021. Two years down the line, this is the cost of this phone now 😏

I could as well congratulate the yahoo boys around on their cash outs. But that's celebrating criminality. And is against what I stand for. Dishonesty didn't get me here. If Peter Obi congratulates the masterminds behind this heist, what does it do to the immaculate reputation that he has built and made us queue behind him in the first place? |
Let me take a seat and wait to read testimonies |
vanitybutiwanti:Lol.. Is you family compound El Dorado yet? 😌 |
vanitybutiwanti:No, he isn't. Neither is your father. But you take his counsel all the same 😌 |
