Which I would advise anyone to do at this point. If you must wage war against corruption in Nigeria, by all means, do. But we will not destroy an institution we will need tomorrow. Peter Obi advised us that much. |
Naira, on Wednesday, appreciated against the US Dollar on the unofficial parallel market, commonly referred to as the black market.https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/naira-appreciates-against-dollar-for-first-time-in-three-weeks/%3famp

Superwave16320:Okay 🤔 Will you be affected if they wail to death? 🤔 That is assuming your dreams come true this time since it didn't happen under Buhari 😎 |
That depends on if you're looking at tomorrow. The biggest losers would be those who suffered a drop in value after the tenure of Bola Tinubu. |
OsunOriginal:At work, mostly. Just like you are 😌 |
and the federal government and had gone to court and obtained a court order to stop the establishment of Nigeria Air.Which Kain interview be this?
|
Not really. Just like expecting the average Nigerian leader to leave their state finances in green. |
Did you see the interview on Channels? What a disgrace.
Whoever voted this Senator in their constituency should be ashamed. |
What I am more interested in is how they managed to track the purchases to 500 USDT accounts. I know that crypto purchases are not like transferring funds from a bank app. |
'Third-Party Vendors Lives matters 😌 |
To be frank, this market, amongst others, is why some people tend to look at the closure of Trade Fair and Alaba Int'l as politically motivated. For every reason (and more) either of both market should attract Govt's ire, Alaba Rago has ten times of such offence in the least. Be it environmental hazard, that market is damn dirty. Even dirty doesn't begin to describe it. Be it structural integrity, many buildings there are barely standing under pressure of weights and age. In addition, it is a criminal haven of drugs, sales of stolen items as well as day/night time robbery, that extends into the roads at night. It is therefore suspect that such a market that is in close proximity to Trade Fair, and in even closer proximity and minutes away from Alaba Int'l keeps escaping any form of scrutiny. But then, I'm always of the opinion that you must not give your detractors any reason to bring you down. If you do, then you must take responsibility. So long as the government has reason to close those places of business, they must be up and doing, first, before they can criticize. |
Recall that earlier, another twitter user, @StFreakingKezy (now suspended) took to Twitter to allege that he got an SMS from an Obidient telling him to sack himself, not knowing he is the CEO of his own company. He would have gotten away with the lie but for AI, in form of auto correct. This feature takes note of how one frequently spells words and auto-corrects similar spellings to that form. The giveaway here is how he frequently spells 'devilish' as devîlish. In this case, after framing up the text, the device it was sent from automatically corrected it but he unknowingly sent it anyway. The next stop was to take to Twitter to propagate the lie and gather more engagement. Unfortunately, as he was dealing with an intelligent demographic in OBIdients, he was caught and called out before the lie gained traction. Screenshots from other instances he spelt devîlish. that way were brought up immediately, exposing the lie"

The owner of that number had a lot of things to say, no matter who chatted them up, but their story was quite consistent. In a nutshell, the initial post was just another attempt to gaslight OBIdients by Deji Adeyanju but it failed woefully. Him putting the number out there for all to see was God's making and his undoing. The new Nigeria we are fighting for, has no place for violence and the likes.
|
Since the number was exposed, 'patriotic citizens' took it upon themselves to chat up the user, and the allegation took an interesting turn.

Psalm 37:12 - 15 The wicked make evil plans against good people. They grind their teeth at them in anger. But the Lord laughs at the wicked, because he sees that their day is coming. The wicked draw their swords and bend their bows to kill those who are honest. But their swords will stab their own hearts, and their bows will break This is a story of how a Peter Obi & OBIdients slander turned out to be something more interesting. At 2:33pm, Deji Adeyanju, who goes by the handle @adeyanjudeji on X, made a tweet, with a screenshot of a threatening message he received attached He alleged that it was a Peter Obi supporter threatening his life, even though there is nothing in the text that alludes to the sender being a Peter Obi supporter. https://twitter.com/urchilla01/status/1558878915099230210?t=MYW0hHbH33VYZRKGkmzxaw&s=19

I don't think the cost of gas is affecting the Bash Ali's in this thread. |

Sensing danger, the deceased floored the pedal in a bid to escape the terrorists who were pulling cars over and interrogating/kidnapping them. The Hamas fighters opened fire on the vehicle until the driver, hit by the bullets, lost control and the car crashed into a parked car on the left side of the road. Reasons like this are why it is extremely difficult to justify the brutality of Hamas attack on Israel. |
keytosuccess:Izzit third party certificate? 😁 |
HitlerWasRight:But according to the scripts of Omar Ibn Said, the first American Muslims were slaves and about 40% of slaves in America during his time were Muslims. Have you read his account yet? 😌

netpro:Oh, I really do not care which they pick in the end. I simply expressed my disappointment that a learned Justice doesn't know that.l, asking such questions in public. It is, as you can see, public knowledge. As for the 'diploma' saga, the school authorizes specified third-party vendors to make replacement certificates. If there is no form of verification necessary, why then do they request for the SSN of the applicant. Secondly, if indeed this 'certificate' is authorized, there are at least 5 paper trails including application and payment channels that could confirm the procurement. Such things you can't really have in an Oluwole situation. |
No problems at all. We are prepared to wait. Nigerians deserve to know who the public figure is. They should take all the time they need to compile and present a solid dossier. It's worth the wait. |
Nice numbers. As dem dey generate pass, nah dem still dey owe pass. Almost as if they generate to owe. This is just 'domestic debt' o. IMO state dey shame me. Which party is controlling that state sef? See figures pre-elections 🤮

Iziquiel:Did you watch the video? If yes, did you see where Sam said lying on that video will amount to perjury? Can you share with us what perjury means and relate that to your assumption that they are ordinary statements that are not done under oath. Anyways, just read page 3 (lines 22-24) of the CSU-deposition. That being said, I am astonished at how you arrived at the conclusions that depositions are mere chats. 😁

To meddle in this, one needs to also know the reasons they were shut down and the conditions given for them to reopen. For them to reopen without seeing everything through is undermining the agency responsible for the initial shutdown. This is the official and professional view of what happened. Let me share the story of a rainmakers in a village. Ahead of a ceremony, one rainmaker was paid to settle the other rainmakers so rain will not fall on the day of the ceremony. But the rainmaker settled only few of them and left out the others. The celebrants knew nothing about this and went ahead with the ceremony. But the other rainmakers were angry and brought down rain on that day of the ceremony. **Drops mic** |
As a fan of court room drama genre (US authors and actors are great at this), I read a lot of John Grisham's books and I am an avid fan of Suits, the series, I'm beyond shocked that a 'learned silk' such as a Justice of the Supreme Court would ask such a question. I've never seen or heard that a deposition took place in a courtroom. It's almost always in one of the law firm's conference rooms. When I first read that a Justice was asking that question in the full glare of fellow silks and laymen, my jaw dropped literally. It pays to be the best in whatever you do. That way, you can't be caught out lost in your field. Here's a video of a random deposition in session: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6dlx8-zETI?si=jq2PW3omdYIeSiGA Attached is a screenshot of the first answer to the question on where a deposition typically takes place. And of course, a couple of John Grisham's books you can start off with. You can download them from archive .org for free. John Ray Grisham Jr. is an American novelist, lawyer, and former member of the Mississippi House of Representatives.

DoTheNeedful:Lol.. So if I could show you proofs that an employer can request to see a 'ceremonial' diploma for a job offer, would that shut you up or would you shift the goalpost again? 😌 I don't like wasting my time pouring water on stone. MODIFIED: Considering you posted a comment after mine and likely saw this reply but chose to ignore, I reckon this scenario is not yet discussed in the WhatsApp group, hence your lack of a rebuttal. Y'all will be fine eventually. |
Except you don't watch American movies. Most depositions take place in a law firm's conference room or something. WTF are you guys on 🤣 Let me look for a random deposition video in a courtroom drama like Suits. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6dlx8-zETI?si=jq2PW3omdYIeSiGA Here is a deposition. Is it a courtroom? The way y'all reek of ignorance ehn. As for that 'learned silk' that asked that question.. Wow. 'Learned silk' my black ass A simple Google search would have saved you the trouble, but no. Anyone who's so bad at research, I summarily conclude they never wrote their Final Year project themselves, to be honest.

1. You can't stop them from dating themselves (or outsiders). They'd act all meek and thoughtful when you counsel them on why they should hold off for now, but a good number of them don't really give a f**k what you're saying. Once you're out of sight, back to default settings. Damn teenage hormones. 2. Most Nigerian parents do not really take the parenting duty seriously. For many of them, providing for their kids and turning up during emergencies does it. But listening to their children is not something they make out time for. I've lost count of the number of kids who call me 'Daddy' even by accident. |
How much Forex did those Toyota vehicles consume? I'm asking for Nigerians. |
xtervaganza:Guess who also crossed the line 😌 For a comment to be considered defamation, such statement would cause the following: -Be untrue; -Be visible to multiple people – such as posted in an online forum; -Lower the complainant’s estimation of right-thinking members of society generally; -Cause serious harm or financial damages. Does the comment by Erisco Foods as published in Vanguard do any or all of these four things above to any imported tomato brand? If yes, then you have your answer. To be frank, if her ordeal is just like she narrated, Erisco foods crossed many lines without consequence

Lol.. Do they really? I reside in Lagos and I interact a lot with Yorubas. I do not think the supposed 'hate' is real. Perhaps there are political differences (which I only notice in very few elite Yorubas, mostly less-educated), but that's about it. |
