https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSGsiRfVwn4?si=am37adPl_U9qzLex In a 10-minute video shared with Sahara Reporters, Chioma Egodi, (who gave a negative review of Nagiko paste which she used, one of Erisco's tomato products in the market), shared the threat to life, made to her by the company boss. In the video, she also shared how she was detained and released on the grounds that she signed a pre-prepared letter under duress, as against her own statement of what really happened, as the only condition with which she would be released. Under pressure from everyone, including her husband, she had to sign that letter and spent some time in the hospital recuperating, before she went back home.

FreeStuffsNG:Thank you for the patronage. 😁 In all of these, your assertion today is that majority of the Igbos are not behind the 'elements' who are involved in what you call unpatriotic. Very very nice. Let me take you to your assertion yesterday by quoting your first take on the Igbos in the article you wrote yourself: FreeStuffsNG:At what point in your view did the majority become minority, and vice versa because clearly, the majority was the problem yesterday? 😁😁 |
waynetee:Quick question. Which region in Nigeria were you born? educated primary/secondary? educated tertiary? residing currently? |
This is so sad. A child taken from the mother and sold under false pretences by the people who are supposed to do better. If they can present their case on Twitter, the better. OBIdients will surely get it amplified and get the response the case deserves. |

FreeStuffsNG:Empty words. Yorubas prefer not to travel to other parts of Nigeria. It's your cultural identity, own it. Igbos (like Fulanis but with a different reason) have no problems being adventurous. You must think we are fooled that the Igbos are the biggest threats you have in Lagos, hence your 'ronu' write-up? Northerners that have openly clashed with, fatally wounded and killed your brothers at the slightest provocation time and again. They even have fortresses you dare not penetrate in various areas in Lagos and run a co-ordinated political system that flies over your head in the same Lagos. But it is the individual 'mind-your-business' ideology driven Igbos that you're having an erection over. Use semantics to defend your misplaced priorities all you want. You're looking for what is not missing. We are not cows in a herd. Your Nairaland account is an archive of Igbo hate, which is not a bad thing for you since you really believe in that. Be what you are and dump the sheep clothing please. 🤞🏾 |
He has a point. You'd rather keep such money for 'feeding'. However, he is referring to those who can afford to spend that much on data, not the actual peasants who are not sure of tomorrow and which we have in abundance in the country. This is not to invalidate the various degrees of suffering we go through as Nigerians. Also by the Pastor 👇

FreeStuffsNG:You mean like you are helping the Igbos with this thread? https://www.nairaland.com/7612989/lagos-guber-plight-igbo-law Mehn, May God give us memory retention and insight to identify these wolves in sheep clothing. |
Ask about and engage the service of a reputable thrift collector and put in a firm date for collection. Every month, give out a sensible sum since there is hope of recovering it within the month. |
In Bagudu's defence, his account, not him, pushed the money around 😎 |
I also hope these guys make up their mind finally. Their inconsistency is puzzling. Be inhuman today, not be inhuman tomorrow.

On Saturday, Senator Ben Bruce shared a tweet, encouraging Nigerians to invest in Nigerian goods and services to grow the Naira instead of 'ranting' on social media. However, celebrity doctor on X, Dr Olufunimilayo, didn't find any of his hypocrisy funny as he took him to the cleaners; citing numerous chances where he had to buy Nigeria too but chose to look the other way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slXwD9u9X8g?si=FNnOtUOeJa15KTeI Under normal circumstances, disabled persons are entitled to have their special needs taken into consideration at all stages of economic and social planning. In this case, this disabled man decided to make things work for himself and took to the roads as commercial tricyclist to make ends meet for himself (and probably, his family) However, this video shows the moment where a disabled commercial tricyclist was being hounded by an Anambra State Taskforce member (most probably for not meeting up to one financial obligation or the other). The tricyclist repeatedly told the Taskforce member that 'What he is doing is not fair to him' (in Igbo Language) but the Taskforce member warned him not to touch him again or he would beat him, and proceeded to confiscate and wheel the tricycle away. The disabled man attempted to stop them from doing so and he was attacked by the Taskforce member, who threw a number of punches at him, despite the disabled man struggling to find his balance. But for passers-by who intervened, his intention was to beat him like he threatened. Seeing that the scene was being recorded, he proceeded to attack the person behind the camera and retrieve this recording but was unsuccessful, which is why we have the video here today. It will be very interesting to see how the State Government responds to this assault on a disabled in the name of performing State functions. nlfpmod |
Well, they have to keep their environment clean. Although the PSP operators in Ojo are as unreliable as anything. That's how they reduced their frequency of coming to dispose our refuse from twice or thrice a week to once a week, then to once a month, then to any time they like. Even at that, they decided some areas are no longer accessible and decided not to visit there anymore but still expect the same payment and patronage as before. As soon as garbage began to pile up, we had to find other alternatives; this time, making use of the Northerners who cart wheel trucks and dispose waste. Our next move is to give them some sort of uniforms and make a solid arrangement on frequency and mode of operation within the community, for safety reasons. With the millions made in Trade Fair, they should have little problems taking care of waste, PSP or not. That being said, Trade Fair is one of the cleanest large markets in Lagos. I've been to many of them. |
Gentlelox:Strange that some people still don't know. Some of his divisive articles he posts here are concocted and written by him to foster polarisation along ethnic lines. See an example below: 👉From Sahara Reporters (published on Mar 16) https://saharareporters.com/2023/03/16/lagos-guber-plight-igbos-law-reciprocity-solution-sunkanmi-vaughan 👉Straight to Nairaland (published on Mar 16) https://www.nairaland.com/7612989/lagos-guber-plight-igbo-law People like these, despite being educated, are the ones stoking the flames of ethnic hate. A number of taxpayers got hounded by crass street thugs who contribute zero to Lagos tax net because views like these are sustained even by the seemingly educated. He's as bigoted as they come. Nairaland knows this and the reason he is still given an audience here is a secret known only to the upper echelons. |
Did I just read that they do not go for paid annual leave? 😲 |
In today's episode of 'Una Go See Shege', flight from Owerri to Lagos is now 406,000. |
We hope for news of his death by any means. Tit for Tat |
This video is damn boring. |
Police70:Done boss 😎
|
No point. If anything, him and others like him should disappear from the leadership scene. 20/10/2020 was a gear in the steamroller that put conscientious Nigerians against the establishment of oppressors. We remember those who stood by us then and those who were against us. Never again! PS: What was in the camera by the way.

Well, she can tell her friends she asked to send them in the first place to stop then. |
Ttalk:It's not about the re-denomination. |
Luckysbab:Against the Naira? Be the judge, bruv.
|
Ttalk:Somebody that was born when Ghana did this is in University already (quote me wrong). But you're using this as an excuse for a trend over the past few years. You should know when to keep quiet, these APC people (excuse my french) |
Giftedhand47:Dead iphone panels keh? ![]() Wetin this auditor do you nah? 🤣
|
kestolove95:Why exactly? |
Do you have vehicles of your own? If yes, then you lots are greedy thieves. |
BluntCrazeMan:Which is crazy, because a N200bn investment in BVAS/iREV infrastructure was tossed in the mud because of the electoral act; and no sanctions whatsoever for the deliberate waste. |
INEC Electoral Guidelines as released or amended are more relevant to the elections at hand, provided it is justifiable in the face of every committment made to make it so. |
MASTERCHIEF0847:Me wondering if the reason you cut the screenshot at 'for the first time since 2014' had anything to do with this. I can tell you for free that I reverse searched that image with Google Lens.
|
Roboto11:The North is not the only region that voted. Plus you have subtly accepted beforehand that Peter Obi won more states than INEC declared. That goes without saying that suppression happened and the scale is yet to be truly uncovered. You can deny the bolded at ease though. It's what David is saying you find so easy to do. The question is "Why the suppression by INEC under APC? I leave it at that. |
