ComputersRe: What Area In IT Should I Go For? by desiree(f): 10:48pm On Sep 02, 2006
Anybody can learn formal methods; they are like the easiest part of software/hardware design and verification. If you have the brain to study and pass any IT certification then you are as well good enough. You have to decide what areas you enjoy and what your strength are. Most guys i know go for Networking--- then a CCNA certification would be your starting point if you have the head for numbers, those Subnetting, VLSM and IP address planning are tricky enough for you to handle

@NotShy2Ask

Can you illustrate the curvaceous African figure by posting a picture of yourself!!! Being African does not men being over weight and rolling in a mass of flesh. Christel looks after herself that is why she is like that. If you stop eating all those junk food and quit hating maybe you will get to look half as good as her.

This sounds more like something off the T.V. I hope she gets the helps she needs. If she was Nigerian, i would advice you to talk to her folks to take her for prayers.

Awwww, I feel your pain but believe me this is not the best way to deal with your heart break and I’d appreciate if you don't insult any woman because of what you went through.
But we are not subserving, low self esteem, grovelling behind our man idiots.

I speak for the educated woman.
We can see clearly now that the only idiot here is you, if you were educated like you claim to be, you would know that there is no difference between MEN, be it Jamaican, Cameroonian or Nigerian, men would always be men.

@trini-girl

You are beginning to sound like a broken record, looks like someone just dumped you for a fine naija sister, oh well, sorry, no one forced you to go out with a Nigerian man, you and your brethren made a conscious decision to date Nigerian men so deal with it!!!

Hey Eurphoria

I'm not too sure about the drugs bit, maybe that was a rumor but she actually came out not long ago that she is a Lesbian +I saw her sometime ago and she was looking old and haggard like them junkies.

It such a shame cos I really liked her stage personality and style of song.

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Internet Dating: How Reliable? by desiree(f): 9:42pm On Aug 29, 2006
Internet dating works for many people but not for Nigerians, personally think a large proportion of Naija guys + their family will never respect a girl met on the Internet. Personal opinion

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: deleted by desiree(f): 9:17pm On Aug 29, 2006
Dear TaniCarr,

One question, are you AA??
cry cry it saddens me because you know you are being used and you are willingly going into it regardless. I have seen this too many times with Nigerian men in the UK, they play dumb and act all Christianly and stuff until the get what they want and his Sister is manipulating you as well. Slow down, don't rush into marriage with this guy because he claims he is a christian and that he loves you( i wonder how you can love someone you haven't met).

Open your inner eyes stop being gullible you are 23 for crying out loud; I know some people would say you are still young, but NO you are an adult!!!

Heaven beholds, if 3 years into the marriage, papers all sorted and a miraculous wife appears from Nigeria with 2 kids.

I'm not trying to sound all pessimistic here; but meet with him first, if you fall in love and God tells you he is the one for you, then start talking about marriage!!

FamilyRe: What If A Girl Proposes Marriage To You? by desiree(f): 11:12pm On Aug 26, 2006
I think there is a different between proposing marriage and talking about marriage. I think about 90% of marriage are initiated or insinuated by the woman. Proposing is actually buying a ring, find a very romantic location, getting down on one knee and actually popping the question. If you asked me- that is a man's job, if a girl does that that would be weird and un-natural undecided

@AnuliGTB,
WOW! wink don't feel guilty,they are all wishing they had that courage.hope u had the best f***k,that night.at least,you had fun and u used a condom,wise move.But don't try it again because u might not be so lucky next time .kudos girl. cool

@desiree,
you can tell that she has never done this before ,thatz why she said it was a "WEIRD THING".Advise her but don't crucify her.yea,she was lucky the guy wasn't a serial kiiler or a rapist.she got away with it this time bt she shouldn't try it again.
Okay, I believe she posted her story here to get people's views, I'm not judging her in any sense, I’m just being honest, this is the same thing i would have told my best mate, sister or cousin in the same position. I've done my bit of freaky and "weird things" but they don't involve strange men.

@AnuliGTB

I'm really sorry if my honest comment made you feel that way. Do your thing and be safe, I'm only looking out for you babes.
