Politics / Re: Obasanjo Slams Buhari Again, Says President Is Sick In The Spirit, Body And Soul by Desric(m): 11:38pm On Jan 21, 2019
Two old expired men challenging themselves for only God knows what after conquering their own generation and time, they're busy still holding the scene for us the youths, isn't it a shame, even though I support President Buhari, but it breaks my heart that these two are way past my generation yet they're the ones talking about who's fit and not when both of them should have retired safely and exit the stage for more younger generation to take center stage.

May God help Nigeria.

Ladies and gentlemen, like I said;

THE APPOINTMENT PROCESSES ARE STILL ON GOING, the end of this recruitment will be so so clear for you to know that it has ended.

Marvel is absolutely correct in his info so I've nothing else to add on that.

Some new intakes resume both in November & December 2018 in North Central Zonal Office. More to come this month ( ask around )

The truth is, your contact isn't strong enough hence, yours may come at the last set.

Please bear with them. NOT EVERY 1 THOUGH BUT FEW OF YOU'LL EVENTUALLY BE CALLED.

TAKE IT FROM ME.
Thanx very much Madam, but the way you're sounding, it's like your case has been settled

It's very very easy.
For those that want to protests and do publications, I don't understand what you are still waiting for. I don't expect you to chicken out simply cos people ask you to put your names and ref no. This is a public forum, opinions will always differ and if people don't support your choices, you start saying they already have their APLs, they belong to SH or they have checked their names. That's total rubbish. You expect people to stay around and give you infos so that you can continually insult them? HYPOCRITES !!! When they leave the forum, you will say they were planted just to give fake news. What exactly do people want?
My brother tell them o, since the people they labeled fake informants left, this thread has become like a grave yard, very quiet and very humble, but what do I know, maybe there might good developments tomorrow.

Pls Marvel, Xtruss, and co, for our sake if you have any vital information for us, do not hesitate, don't mind whatever you might see or read here, it's part of the sacrifices of leading. Thanks so much in advance.

Dear fellow DPR hopefuls., I was authoritatively informed that all APL's were ready for over 3 months now and those in charge are not ready to place calls for APL pickup. For this, I have started making contacts to some stakeholders seeking for the release of my APL. You can also do the same if know anyone. To this point, I am convinced that DPR management will not make any contact.
All the best fellow hopefuls.
Another twist to the whole affair.
Investment / Re: The Effects Of Online Betting On Nigerian Youths by Desric(m): 7:43am On Nov 12, 2018
I don't understand how people's legitimate business will become someone's headache, before the betting came, it's generally agreed that there's limited job opportunities in Nigeria thereby causing massive youth unemployment. Now there's betting and the youths are helping themselves with it both as a part-time thing and recreation so what's the fuse? You might not be comfortable with it but a lot of persons are. FYI, it's not only jobless people that bet, a lot of big stakers are very well employed and doing well in their respective businesses.

People come here to brag about their boldness, bravery and intelligence about conspiracy theories, they keep disturbing our minds by constantly elongating the pages on this thread. Pls if you have any action or whatever you think is the right thing to do to get your APL out from DPR, just go ahead and do it and leave this thread in peace, allow those who want to wait to wait, you're smarter than everybody, then what are you still doing here, or is nairaland DPR website or head office? why don't you go there and pour out your anger and frustration? Pls you guys should leave us in peace and stop chasing away those that have some pieces of information to give this humble forum.

Keep checking your portal for updates this week through next week.

Ensure Email address and phone number registered on the portal is active.

Remember I told you guys about a top management staff DD Head S&E that retired last week. You can confirm this from the DPR website. It was updated yesterday.

When the second batch resume, the portal will be shut down and regret mails will roll in.

I always tell you guys that the information I post on this thread is subject to debate. It’s left for everyone to accept or ignore. If you feel it’s over, it’s best you move on.

To those that have confirmed their names, I say congratulations in advance.

Kudos to @ Xtruzz, Babagy823, Tamihawt (R), Walush, Onyidirike, Neverdown, Legend90 and others for your immense contributions on this thread.

My next post on this thread will be about the successful ones.

Good luck!
Thank you very much Marvel, you're a brother indeed.

I still maintain that we should wait till after next week Friday. This is a faceless forum and we don't know how many testimonies here are true and how many that are not people are coming here to inform us how they've gotten their letters and how their relatives also have gotten, anyway, this is Nigeria where anything is possible but let's not act like the proverbial tortoise that was put in a pit for years only to start shouting barely days to his rescue. Patience remains a virtue and if we've stayed this long without this job, I think a week longer won't hurt and won't also delay our protest.

Personally, I understand the need for the unrest and panic but I'll advice that we exercise a little more patience till the end of next week at least before taking any drastic action by then we must have exhausted every benefit of doubt.

It's quite unfortunate that we have been born into such society like the Nigerian one where things are done haphazardly, a place where we live like the George Orwell's Animalfarm and Thank God again that we are all young adults, it's not enough to show concern only because it concerns us in this recruitment but we have to as a matter responsibility and obligation, get involved in the running of our society no matter how small because until we start demanding and becoming part of changing the way we live and do things in this country, I'm afraid in the next 10-15years from now, the commoners might not even find good water anywhere to drink anywhere around them.

Marvel65:
Good morning guys,

I trust everyone is doing fine.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate those that have received their APLs. I wish you the best in your career with DPR. As the saying goes, “To whom much is given, much is expected”.

I have been following and viewing this thread silently since last week. A few things I talked about have finally taken place and confirmed but some persons didn’t take me serious and were more concerned about release dates while others used most of the information provided to their advantage. I posted something about a few persons that received APLs since last month. Well, I never expected some of them on this thread to own up and I won’t blame them for not doing so since the APLs were not officially released at that time. I don’t like to forcefully convince people to accept the info I provide but I knew some persons were aware of what I posted and they were not happy with the revelations. They did everything to confuse people and now these same persons have received their APLs and abandoned this thread. There’s one thing that can’t change in this world, the truth always win the battle in the end.

Sincerely, I’m not happy with the way the APLs were distributed. It’s not a big deal to send SMS and Emails to the successful applicants. There is no justification for this action taken and I don’t see any reason for the rush. Well, they know best. However, some that have received their APLs through their sponsors made it on merit. It’s just that they had someone in the system that helped them pick theirs. The majority that received were part of the stakeholders list. I want to reiterate that 80% made it on merit believe it or not. So don’t think what had happened these past few days was an indication that very few persons were selected on merit.

The successful ones that have no one will be contacted officially from the zonal offices provided the candidate’s mobile number on the portal is active and home address is correct just in case DPR decides to deliver it to your door step. I want to assure you that everything is in control. The letters are being dispatched in batches, so please be patient with them and don’t be discouraged. Those that will be contacted officially will testify on this thread soon.

Currently, there is a disagreement between Mr Tata and union members over the number of EH recruited and the negative effect it would have on the existing staff. The number of EH recruited were more than 150 and Mr Tata wanted to place them on levels that could hinder the promotion of the current staff. The agreement was to recruit more entry level staff considering the manpower deficit in the system. The union members have decided to confront Mr Tata to defend himself and ensure he slashes the EH number by half and replace them with more GT. I will provide more updates on this issue when the matter has been resolved.

Thanks @square62 and I greatly appreciate your time and effort.

Lastly, if you don’t make in the end just know that you were never meant to be there in the first place. There is still hope and a better opportunity awaits you.

NNPC recruitment loading....

Goodluck to Everyone!!!

I personally and most sincerely appreciate your humane and matured nature of doing things, handling issues, relating with people and disseminating information. Kudos to you bro and whatever be the outcome finally, I'm truly proud to have come across some really intelligent and interesting young men and women.

Good luck to us all as the wait continues

Please help me clarify something, are u getting unofficially because of connection or u actually pulled through successfully in every stage?
I don't get why people are so discouraged already. Trust me ladies & guys, this thing still stands on the percentage merits. Even while people where doing their permutations up & down on this thread I was just reading silently cos at the end of the interview I knew my scores in total & knew my overall position from my state, so stakeholder or not I'm proud to say that I got this on merit base. I worked really well by the help of God to cross every stage. & yes whether stakeholder candidate or not this is a compensation to an extent for loosing my child in the course of the job interview
It's OK Ma'am, na God win and may He console and replace your loss, Amen. Congrats big time.
