End time employers. If you have hard evidences like letter of appointment with salary agreement on it, payslip history then game on if not I advise you call him and secretly make him agree to the existence of a debt while you also secretly record it. With this you have something to hold him with if it ever becomes a police or court or denial issue. Sorry ehn, end time employers errywhere. |

bilms: If i may ask, what will restructuring do for us, that we can't get with the current structure? You must be kidding. How do you think we can ever put an end to the situation of unending cycle of ghost workforce if not restructuring? In Niger state a LGA was discovered to have less than 10 vehicle but over 40 drivers on payroll. That's one. What about the situation of governors having over a thousand aides? Will that be the case if there was no free oil money? Ok, check this out. When the North and south Nigeria where merged the main excuse was that of a backward north - educationally, economically etc - today what we have is same northerner prefering use of 'scarce' fund to build mosques, rejecting education and promoting Islam at expense of education. There are a thousand other reasons to restructure. |

9japrof: Brotherly lest tell ourselves the truth, if they allow the true value of naira, guy it would be nothing less than 800 naira, would it be better then? it is better they float it. I suggest it is floated till it reaches N500. |
Business › Re: $9bn Has Been Used By FG To Defend Naira, Says Senate by Desyner: 7:59am On Sep 27, 2017 |
BLINGZ88: its not like cbn is dashing the money to banks, they sell it to them to reduce demand. it is not a good solution and I believe that the naira should be allowed to float. this government should forget their promise of #1 to $1 and try to act positively for the economy. If at all they are dashing it, it is to people who consume imported goods. I support floating of Naira. If it jumps to N500.00 then so be it. |

I am actually concerned about civil servants in FG parastatals not politicians and their cronies. What about the dormant civil servants? The corrupt ones, the political jobber being reward with civil service status ? |
Politics › Re: Restructuring; Let's Be Very Careful by Desyner: 12:33pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
attacker321: I am not benefiting oga. So you want to add to the massive joblessness on ground already? You are. If not you won't turn a blind eye to the challenges on ground. Restructuring isn't about just sacking people it entails sacking dormant people in redundant positions people and replacing them with needed hands and positions. It will lead to increase productivity and help reduce poverty, inflation, joblessness (cos there are many need hands). You tell me which is better, a dormant special adviser to a governor earning N500,000/month or six active civil servants earning 83,300 each? Those civil servants could be nurses, technician, construction workers serving me and you directly instead of one fake big man earning so much for contributing nothing. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Unity; North VS South And The Need For Restructuring by Desyner: 12:09pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
Good point. Let me add to it. Restructuring will not come without resistance, the elite - Obas, Emirs, Igwes, Ezes, Top public office holders, civil workforce and every rent-seeker who is benefiting from the current structure will violently resist it. |
Politics › Re: Restructuring; Let's Be Very Careful by Desyner: 12:06pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
attacker321: Restructuring is the reigning word now all over the country.
I just want to say that we should be very careful what we are asking for.
I hope restructuring will not leave to mass job loss at the federal level.
I hope we will not have states where people will start eating human beings to survive. Parasitic mentality. Our current structure has already left too many of us shortchanged. So if people lose their jobs it is perfectly normal. |

omohayek: And you know this how, exactly? Through their quarterly and annual reports? Through newspaper articles? Or is that you have personal contacts who (illegally) shared insider information with you?
I'm betting it's none of these, and you just "know" they are wildly profitable because you "feel" they must be, even though all the Nigerian newspapers have carried plenty of reports indicating the GENCOs and DISCOs are in financial trouble, as have international periodicals like the FT and the WSJ, and even Fashola has admitted the fact in his public speeches. But why should we believe all these credible, publicly available sources when we can go with your gut prejudices instead? Comprehend post before replying sir. Bye |

Blue3k: Give on yourself. We already seen how well mini grids can work. Besides if you read this areticle you would already know that ceo is not against central grid. Siemens supplied the gas turbines to that Edo power project. Have fun whining about Fashola. It is painful seeing ignorant folks like you trying to replicate the Fashola mistakes. My own suggestion is we should just encourage states to build IPP and guaranty them a good percentage of what their IPPs produced to meet their local needs. No need for irrelevant proposals and articles like you are fond of posting up and down this forum. Bye. |
Politics › Re: Powering Nigeria’s Global Economic Rise by Desyner: 6:39pm On Sep 25, 2017 |
Blue3k: Centralized grid all the power went through TCN connection and was disturbed out. Decentralised power have smaller individual companies operate outside of that. Hence the new regulations for mini grid power generation for people not connected to grid and to help renewable power providers.
Lol the expert can't read or understand picture you just good a whining about Fashola. I give up on you Sir. |
Politics › Re: Powering Nigeria’s Global Economic Rise by Desyner: 6:18pm On Sep 25, 2017 |
Blue3k: Lol the question was rhetorical about off grid. Nobody was refering to the solar panels on your roofs. Since you obviously have trouble reading I'll find you simple pictures so it doesn't confuse you too much. Ramble on about your off grid power oga. Are you reading what you are posting at all? If yes, then you are not understanding them. What's the difference between a decentralized grid and what we currently have in Nigeria ? You need to stop researching what you don't understand on the fly. |

Blue3k: Remind where who said off grid. I said mini grid and decentralized grid which are same thing. Power that can work independently of central grid.
OK they bad abd greedy thanks for sharing your opinion. Never mind the fact they imported these meters and fire restrictions in country. If your dissatisfied with his performance that's your issue. Your free to have your opinion. Oga, I can have a 20 unit housing estate and decide to electrify them to a gen or solar set while isolating it from the national grid. That's off-grid. Decentralised means more than that. I am now sure you barely grasp the perculiarities of power system. |
