RomanceRe: Is Paid Dating The New Wave Of Prostitution? by deturla(op): 10:42pm On Sep 14, 2017
Billyonaire:
Always fun having paid dates, but dont be deceived, sex is not off the table. I personally prefer girls who can dance, smoke and strip. Then you lay the ones you like and the rest who may not be your specs are safe. At the end of the days they stay with you, you just drop them the bucks.

How they share it, is not my business. Paid dates means groupie.

Maximum I have done is with 7 girls, but sometimes I invite a friend I like to come make a choice and enjoy. All bills on me.

PoliticsNigerian Bloggers, Please Validate News Before Publishing by deturla(op): 2:24pm On Sep 14, 2017
My Dear bloggers,

The recent spate of happenings bothered around the eastern part of the country has become a major cause of concern.

While a lot of us are deeply and sincerely aggravated about how the issue is being handled by the alleged IPOB members and the Federal government, we as bloggers owe the nation the responsibility to disseminate information with conscience and concern for the future of our country.

I have seen recent posts online and offline by bloggers, a lot of which are false and a true misrepresentation of what is happening all in an attempt to generate traffic and traction for your online platforms.

I am aware that it is your duty to publish news to ensure that your platform is the first to break the news, but I want to implore on the basis of today and your future unborn generation, to be careful on the type of news you publish on your blogs.

On the basis of the tension caused by these recent happenings, I beg you in God's name to reduce your spread of information without due diligence.

It is your duty to validate the authenticity of news before you rush to publish on your platforms. Remember that we owe our readers and Nigerians, truth and fairness in the dissemination of information.

For the sake of unity and for the future of our unborn generation, put a stop to invalidated and false information.

A word they say is enough for the wise.

Based on the messages I have been receiving in my inbox of late. I feel it is important that we know things are happening in Nigeria, and also share with you guys and a wider audience:

I am suffering. This is unbearable, and I need to tell everyone my story before it chokes me to death. Please I don’t want to deal with the prejudice of what 90% of you in here will say! Just be kind and listen to my story; I think I am in love with my sister.

You think this is a joke? Hell No, it isn’t. I am not a retard, and I am not in the least confused. My heart beats for her. She is two years younger than I am, so we were not really far apart in age and stature.

It started with us both from our younger days, being at loggerheads with each other, fighting and aiming at each other’s throats. We were competitors in the house. It wasn’t like we really liked each other back then infact.

But something changed when I got into the University, I realized that I missed her more than ever and we got close; Calls, messages and all that.

As I got into the University, I started to think about her. How obsessed I am with her and how I needed to protect her from all the young men out there. I see how girls’ hearts are broken and I don’t want none of that to happen to my sis. I became over-protective, checking out on her every now and then. Not a day will pass without me having to check up on her, to tell her how I miss her.

At first it was pretty normal, till I started having wet dreams, with her in it. She would appear in my dreams and then I would wake up the next morning wet with ‘my manly milk’ spread all over my boxers.

She came visiting every now and then, cooked for me and did my laundry. Even I could not get really physical with the girlfriends I had then because she was always there, telling me who to date and who not to. She was like a mother to me.

Two years ago, and a year after graduation, I got a job in a location close to where she is presently schooling. She now spends weekends at my place and I feel so calm and in love whenever I am around her. I am contemplating on her moving from her hostel to my house so we could share the apartment together.

We got so close to the extent that she would do my nails, ask me to massage her legs whenever she is stressed from school and all. She would rest on my legs while watching TV, and she would allow me pet her head and rub my hands along her hair. We hug a lot more now and I peck her on the cheek whenever she goes off to school. I still love her as a sister though, but it just feels a little bit more. So crazy, pure and true. My heart beats bad for her and I feel more alive with myself

I feel happier and more contented with life whenever she is around, although I feel strongly about her now more than ever, I am scared of telling her. I know this is crazy, as in how I feel. But that’s just the way it is.

I am thinking of telling her next week that I am crazy in love with her but I need help before I get myself into trouble. Nobody knows yet, not even family and friends.

She breaking up with one ‘boy’ in the University did not help matters. I feel I needed to do more, protect her and infact marry HER.

I need HELP!

A lot of people reading on here knows that there are times when unusual things happen during weddings.

From the weird, funny to the really crazy happenings at weddings, you never can under-estimate the fact that just sometimes, things happen that can either make or mar the event.

While a lot of wedding guests may feel they have seen it all in a wedding, the following crazy moments will remind you of the incident that happened when you were a party guest and you might maybe decide to share in the comment section below.

But before we get to the comments, let’s check out these crazy wedding moments witnessed at a wedding.

1. The case of the pastor who farted three times

Can we call this the best or worst thing that happened during a wedding ceremony. Well, let me leave that to you to decide on which.

We never knew what the minister ate since he was just farting throughout the church wedding. The loud releases at steady intervals during the ceremony caught all of us in a frenzy.

What made him do that and thought he could get away with it, no one really knew. Maybe he thought he could release without anyone knowing what’s happening but unfortunately the body mic caught the sound and the congregation heard the farting sound.

Imagine the embarrassment and the laughter during and after the service. There was so much laughter till he realized that it was all about him!

2. The Best Man who will never give up

We were all having fun, eating, drinking, wining and dining until the time for the Best Man to give his speech.

Everything started out normally, as the Best man started on how he hooked both bride and groom up, how he had watched them grow in their relationship. The fights, arguments, happiness and what is expected of both parties in marriage.

I almost choked on the meat I had in my mouth, when the Best man in a bid to conclude his speech broke down in tears and started begging the bride, to please give him another chance, since he never knew why she broke up with him in the first place. He told the bride that he still loved her!

Whether he was a bit drunk or he was saying the truth, no one really knew, since the whole reception went silent and everything looked really awkward till someone eventually had to drag him off stage.

It was indeed a very awkward situation!

3. A bride of 24 hours

I learned of a bride from a pastor friend who said 24 hours after he concluded a wedding ceremony, the bride called him up to ask whether she could bring the wedding certificate to be nullified.

On asking her why, she said the marriage was the greatest mistake she ever made, and that she just realized that nothing will make the matrimony work.

Well, the pastor told her that she would need to come over to the church to see him personally since he did not understand what could have led to the brash and drastic decision on the part of the bride.

I did not know what happened afterwards since I did not bother to follow up on the situation again! Talk of funny marriage stories.

4. The Ex-girlfriend that didn’t want to become an Ex

At the wedding ceremony, the moment of truth came.

That moment when the Pastor officiating the wedding asks if there was anyone, against this wedding, the person should signify by standing up or be shut forever!

Imagine at the third asking, ex-girlfriend of the groom barged into the church, to say ‘Hell No’ they ain’t getting married!. This was an ex-girlfriend who broke up with the groom five years ago and left for the United States of America.

‘Kill-Joy, you’ll say right’?

She did not stop there, she went on and on about what she will do to the groom if he ever married the bride. Before we could say Jack Robinson, the bride broke down crying, saying, no one will ruin her wedding.

In the twinkle of an eye, the bride’s father and the groom’s father both got out of their seats and dragged the Ex out of the hall, friends of the groom followed suit and kept Ex under lock and key till the wedding ended.

Apparently Ex came to the wedding drunk and spent!

5. Bride’s mother who wanted her pound of flesh

So, Mama Bride said because the groom did not seek her consent before proposing to the bride, she would disrupt the wedding. Imagine!

Even after the introduction and engagement, mother of bride had to wait till wedding day before saying the groom will never marry the bride.

You need to see the shock written on the groom’s face! It was a serious case of ‘I never experret it’.

See what happened next, the mother was bounced out of the wedding ceremony to be replaced by the new wife of the father! So much so for weird happenings at weddings.

Obviously we all got the gist later that the mother of the bride and the bride’s father have been separated for about 15 years, and since the groom did not seek her consent before proposing to her daughter, she went ballistic! Why that was such a big deal? Still beats me till date!

Were you a part of weird wedding incidents that was still in your mind and you never believed it happened? Share in the comment section below. Let’s have a laugh together!

We have been dating for quite sometime, 2 years to be precise, but in the last one year, I have had to deal with guys making passes on my woman.

Everywhere we go together; club, parties and even in the church, I always have this issue of a man hitting on my woman. Not that she is the most beautiful lady in the world, or that she is the sexiest, I just don’t know why guys keep passing compliments and erotic gestures.

Just last week, we were at an hangout together, and it seemed obvious that we were together, yet, guys keep trying to make a move on her.

I don’t want to sound a bit possessive and jealous, but I am bothered emotionally about this. I wonder what happens whenever we are not together.

PoliticsDo You Still Want The War? by deturla(op):
I was in 300level when my Father died.

Even as a medical student, I couldn't bring him back to life. He died after loosing so much blood on the head he used to hit the bathroom tiles he went to fix for a client , My Father, Munachi went cold on my hands because the Hospital demanded for a deposit we couldn't get immediately.

That was how he left us, He left my mother and I in this insensitive world all alone. Continue to rest well FATHER.

......
I use a hearing aid. I was told I had measles while I was 8 years old that nearly permanently robbed me of my eyes and ears, sadly, it spared my eyes but took part of my ears. If I don't read lips, sign language or my hearing aid, I feel dead.

My mom owns a shop where she sells foams, pillows in the main market.

After Father died, she had to double her hustle and she added bedsheets and pillow case.

It was a rough journey throughout the remaining two years I had left. Temptations here and there just to pay up fees before the school portals closes down, yet ,I.MADE.IT

........
A day to my convocation, Mother already cooked everything cookable , as the only child , she was over elated I guess, even if not. Who wouldn't want to be associated with a child she'll boldly be calling "DOCTOR NDUBUISI? Funnily, she made sure I didn't touch anything. She kept saying " You went to school and graduated?? Nwam, Chukwu gozie gi"

She already returned from shop earlier than she does to come and pepper the chicken she earlier fried when she remembered she left the pepper in the shop.

" Mama ,let me go and bring it for you, you look tired already"

"Mba mba, nwam. you are like the bride, tomorrow is your day, don't do anything, I will fly a bike to the market now to bring it"

She retorted with a beaming smile.

" okay mama"
......

"The shop is just 30 mins to and fro , so what's keeping mum late? Did she see a friend on the road as usual to share her good news, did she wait to do more shopping, did she ............"

I kept murmuring.

I wasn't feeling comfortable again, she already left her phone at home , how do I call her? I wore my hearing aid to go out in search of her, immediately I stepped out, my hearing aid communicated several sounds to me. Amidst it, I could hear wailing, gunshot and shouting.

I rushed back in ,straight to the balcony , and all I saw were dust, while people ran helter skelter.

I kept shouting,

"what's happening"
" hey, answer me
"Look at me"
"Did you see my mother"
"Hello"

Would I say no one answered or they didn't hear me? But I'm not that worse, even if my voice isn't that clear , my mum hears me perfectly without me repeating a sentence..

I picked my phone again to message a friend of hers when a message popped in in a group i belong to on WhatsApp.

" Plenty fired dead , shops burned down, as IPOB Members attack Aba market"

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heart jumped practically out of me. I ran downstairs, tried coming out of the gate when neighbors held me down.

I tried communicating to them that my mother is not home and there is a fight in the market she went to. They kept calming and assuring me she must have ran for her life.

I was told I can't go in search of her as a curfew has been declared so Mum probably would have hid somewhere.

" Could this be Another BIAFRA"huh I rhetorically asked.

............

Till 4am the next day , mother wasn't home. Immediately I could see a clear morning, I went straight down to mummy shop, while going, I kept jumping corpses on the road but I was so sure mum would be in her shop, must have locked herself there for safety.

I wasn't wrong , I wasn't wrong, YES, I wasn't wrong....

I met my own mother, knelt down ,both hands joined together, in a way she prays ,her ankles on the chair, her heads bowed, her body burnt to death.

The only one that hears me even when I'm silent is gone, her shop was burnt on her.

Where do I go from here?

Am I the one to bear the brunt of the division of a country I belong to?

How do I get out this ?

Can I be made whole again?

Can I ever get back to shape?

Is war the answerhuh

I.AM.SHATTERED......

But, note there were no slave trade in Africa!. The so called slave trade was going on in the Americas and USA and all the other settlements where Europeans had plantations. Slave trade happened when Europeans bought and sold slaves among themselves, that's why they called it slave trade. It did not happen in Africa. Yes, you said based on history we were told slave trade happened here; but on who's account of history?

History was written and some erased while we were still in slavery. By the time we came out of slavery we've been schooled to take the blame for their crimes.

Slaves were acquired by acts of war, coercion, fraud, intimidation. Between 1700-1800, the whole of Africa was at war fighting off white people or fighting among ourselves to defend them. Today, those running from the wars would've been called refugees. But, in those days, a refugee was automatically a slave!.

If we bought and sold slaves in Africa; don't you think we would have also become wealthy? What part of Africa was developing during slavery?

In Britain, France, USA, you could still trace families that traded in slaves, their record of ships and family names are still there. What family in Africa is known to have been a slave trading family? NONE.

Slave trade began in Europe in medieval times, and its what they brought along to us to Africa when they came here. I don't know how I could get the African people understand this. And there's nobody to help me. Everybody has already bought white man's version of history, hook, line and sinker.

Slave trade in America.

Africans for sale is America - That's why it is called slave trade.
https://s5.postimg.org/mp4q1knw7/selling_slaves2.jpg

Africans (from Ghana) for sale is America - That's why it is called slave trade.
https://s5.postimg.org/ojcz5kliv/gold_coast_slaves_in_america.png

White man places order to buy fresh arrivals from Africa - That's why it is called slave trade.
https://s5.postimg.org/e1mx9tkon/ordering_a_slave.jpg

White man advertises Africans ( from Sierra Leone) for sale in America- That's why it is called slave trade.

Their age range suggests African young population was wipe out leaving old people. There was no way development could occur under such circumstance.
https://s5.postimg.org/hqlt0s9h3/slave_trade_auction1.jpg

And they paid cash. Those who said slave trade was going in Africa should let me know what currency and at what amount they were being sold here. By the way, by 1840, at the height of the slavery, they were fooling themselves that slavery had been abolished. Of course, it was only abolished on paper. Britain continued shipping Africans well in into 1900, until all the war they caused died out and the refugee crises lessened.

1. it doesn't take 8mims to get to the island... kilodeh?
2. you didn't say they have a chief who sells beach sand and I don't know what he does with the money (my uncle tho)
3. the whole of badagry need good drinkable water... the people on the mainland actually get water from on filling station close to badagry grammar school... or a well at the police barracks which they consider clean
4
I'm a native of badagry... Ganho to be precise
good job anyways!!
Thanks a lot bro.

I was on the water for close to 8 minutes Sir, maybe the boat was slow, but who cares anyway. I was more concerned about the life vest that I did not have on.

I was told about a certain chief though, but did not get detailed information about him.

Well? The Ilaje community on gberefu island does not have an health centre. Is that affecting the whole of Badagry as well? They also do not have drinkable water, everyone drinks from a poor well in the centre of the village.

There were promises by politicians when they came to campaign. Were the promises met?

This goes way beyond a chief that sells sand bro, it balls down to intervention of well meaning Nigerians and the elected.

Thanks for your feedback once again. I hope to travel back to the island with people who can support these guys, seriously.
