That aspect of writing is so on point. Every dick and Tom wants to make money by copying and pasting, without trying to sit their ass down to write. How then will you make it? Funny to say the least, while some bloggers earn loads of cash while disliking blogging, some others just do so for the love of it. The way life is, really!

You need to like writing, really. If not then, you can get more people on board to write for you. You make the money don't you? Leverage that to make more money!

Basic side chick rules. It was your decision to be a side chick, no one forced you. Whether or not you decided to continue with your side relationship, the choice was yours. This post is not to tell you to stop hanging by the side, but to show you the basic rules to stand with if you want to enjoy your side relationship!

Okay?

Simple and basic side chick rules ( Need to Know)

RULE 1: Don't be a monitoring spirit

While you may make it a point of duty to know the main chick, do not ever stalk her on social media. Wetin concern you? You are a ‘blaady’ side chick. Leave the ‘Orijinal’ gel alone! Monitoring Spirit!

RULE 2: Use your head, he doesn't love you

It is not a love case, he doesn’t love you, gerrit? Use his arse the way he’s using yours. Use your head, you are nothing but a side chick. Collect as much money as you can, but remember that bills; house rent, school fees, and other sundries must be settled.

RULE 3: There is a law of Karma

Don’t try to think you can replace the main chick! If you do, and get married to him, another girl will replace you in marriage. Hey! Stop screaming, yaaa nothing but a side chick!

RULE 4: There is love in sharing

Don’t be jealous. Don’t ever think you are the only one chopping the young man! If another ‘chikala’ enters into the matter and ‘chops’ him as well. Free her, there is love in sharing!

RULE 5: When you are caught, game is over

When Madam main chick calls you to scream that you should leave her Bobo alone, just respect yourself and move on! You have exposed yourself as a side chick simply because you did not play your game well. She will ‘treat your f**kup, trust me’ You want to play smart and continue? Hot water and Acid awaits you!

Nifty sixth!

If you get pregnant, you are so on your own. Your baby will become a side baby! You want me to mention names of those who felt they could pin a side-guy down with babies here on NL? You know them as much as I do!

Do you think these rules are not enough, or you have further addition to these side chick rules? Drop them in the comment section below.

motherfucker:
you are wrong bro. That's just the basics.

Naij.com spent more than that to get to where they are today rapidly. It means you have not been following the dynamics of blogosphere.

You should ask me how I wish to use that 5Million and I mean moving shiitzz faster.

I know how everything works BUT I wouldn't have the time to sit my ass to get the job done. I can set up a blog in 30 minutes if I want.

So, what would I do? I will hire hands to run everything for me while I take daily updates of what's happening.

I will need 1 person to do the writing and posting.

I will need another person to do the posting on the blog and other social media handle, ranging from Facebook,Twitter and Instagram.

I will make banner ads and post them offline. Hire freelance reporters to interview people on videos.

Now here is another thing.

I will pay for ads on facebook to grow my fan page into a million fans and also drive traffic to my blog. Posting witty and funny videos, contents and all that.

Our contents will be mainly controversial, graphic and so much viral contents. No faster way to get Nigerians commenting than this and we wouldn't miss religious and ethnic incline contents too smiley

I will do something similar to what lailai did, riding on the back of a known brand as a start and the branch of to create mine smiley

Actually, the 5Million is enough to escalate things and the reason is make things FASTER! If you want money NOW, ADVERTISE!

Also, I am not doing any of these because I I to depend on Google adsense... BUT to attract big brands and make them pay. At the peak of everything, I will make that money back in one month.

NaijaLoaded CEO is building his house on Banana Island as I type this. Yeah, he mentioned it on facebook some days ago but took it down.

That guy did more offline promotions than you can imagine. This was before facebook came into existence in Nigeria. He paid for banner ads, engage schools and so many things you can imagine.

Bro, either way, I am not talking about sitting behind PC to posting BUT doing some real shitsss... be more offline/outgoing than siting behind PC.

There is money online when you sit behind your pc BUT there is more money to be had/made when you go offline and engage REAL people.

As I type this, by God's grace, I will be making my first biggest pay in one blow before this year ends BECAUSE I decided to GO OUTSIDE and make things happen. Trust me, I won't stop after this. Though the deal is slowed down due to some challenges as a result of the economy BUT I am willing to wait as long as client has been assuring us they will do the deal and often call us to assure us as well. And, this deal is the pivot or fulcrum or leverage NEEDED to close 2 other deals with earlier contacted clients because it will serve as PROOF that we are REAL. It's our first venture and so we made mistake with the first 2 but we aren't willing to lost out completely.

I am going to replicate the success on other ideas after this.

150k is if you are gonna do all the blog works yourself but 5M if you wanna hire hands and make things run faster. There is a stage you will reach in life and you wouldn't have time to do everything. Besides REAL entrepreneurs do not do things themselves--They hire hands to run their ideas, while they explore other ventures.

Hope you get it now?

This story was shared by Ese Walter-Ark on Facebook, and I had no choice than to share with ladies reading the blog. From the single ladies to the married, from not having a baby yet to being expectant. This post is just for you.

It is going to be a long READ, but it is worth every second of your TIME, trust ME.

First read this Story on Post Partum depression:

Trigger warning – DO NOT read if you freak out at freak stories.

She fell pregnant when her first baby was 3 months old. About 10 months later, she had two small babies. Husband’s work had him traveling a lot. They had to get a maid.

She wasn’t always aware of her environment. Regrets about being stuck with two babies and putting all her life’s plan on hold. She didn’t complain but would cry in the shower.

One time her husband came home and complained that she was lazy, he said he brought home all the money and couldn’t figure out what she was doing the whole day sitting around with two babies and a maid. She apologized. He was bringing in a lot of money, but she knew she was doing her bit. It didn’t seem enough.

Soon she was walking on eggshells in her own home. A complete shadow of herself. Maid has started wearing makeup and bum shorts. She thought she saw hubby tap maid’s ass one day. She can’t be too sure. Reality and hallucination’s becoming one.

She said she thought she needed to see a therapist. She thought she was losing her mind. Hubby said she needs to get out more. Work out to lose all that weight he said. “I no longer find you attractive and I find myself admiring the maid,” he added.

She sends the maid away. Surely things would get better. With no extra help, a traveling partner, and a looming depression, she sinks deeper. Barely speaks, doesn’t see the children, no orgasmic sex. She is going through the motions now.

She comes up with a plan. Her plan gives her some relief. Thinking about this plan gives her strength to pull through her days. She is working out now, eating right, catering to her babies and planning to get back to work. Husband seems happy, finally something has touched her heart and she is back to herself.

That morning he gets ready for a trip. She is up telling him about how things will change for the better when he gets back. They are finally going to go back to how things were. He smiles saying he sees her tummy is snapping back. As he steps out the door, he notices her smile change to a frown but before he can comment, she is smiling again. She kisses him goodbye.

She enters her babies’ room, they are still sleeping. She wraps the baby up in a blanket and wakes the toddler up. She leads them to the kitchen, then opens up the freezer. First she places the baby in the freezer and she picks up her half-sleeping toddler and kisses him on the forehead as she lowers him into the freezer.

“It’s cold mummy,” he says as he looks up at her.

“I know baby, but it will be over soon.” she responds.

She shuts the freezer and sits on it. There are muffled screams and a struggle. She stares at the kitchen table until the screams stop. She gets off the freezer and goes to take a bath. She comes out of the shower and lays on her bed.

“When I wake up, I shall start life over,” she says as she drifts off to sleep.

What is Post Partum depression (PPD)?

As a wife that just gave birth, you are faced with multiples situations, one of which is getting used to the challenges that come with childbirth. You are also dealing with new responsibilities like lack of sleep, and physical changes in your body. What about the various body pains that come with childbirth; not to talk of the hot water therapy that one tries to do to put the female body back in shape.

The realization that a woman’s body may never be the same anymore coupled with the pressure of being a mom sometimes can lead to a dangerous case of Postpartum depression. Post Partum depression is also known as POST NATAL DEPRESSION.

Post Partum depression is so dangerous and deadly that a lot of people are oblivious to it.

This is the type of depression that comes when a woman just had a baby. Usually, the feeling comes between 3 weeks to 1 year of childbirth.

Women affected by the Post Partum depression usually feel sad, hopeless, and guilty that life will never remain the same again, and eventually they may lack the psychological ability to bond and connect with the newborn baby.

The bizarre thing about Post Partum depression is that it just does not happen to first time moms alone, you can be exposed to PPD even after giving birth to a lot of children.

10 things you should know about Post Partum depression

1 Post Partum depression is caused by the decrease in an increased hormonal level during pregnancy to childbirth.

What do I mean?

There is a sudden surge in a woman’s hormones during pregnancy. This surge drops sharply after childbirth; a sharp drop that can trigger depression. If you are a woman that depression runs in your family, then there is the potential that you may be exposed to Post Partum depression.

Not only that, prenatal depression, low self esteem before birth, severe premenstrual symptoms, previous case of miscarriage or still birth are a number of factors that increases the risk of having PPD.

Hey wait a minute, this is not to get you sad or jittery, but to make sure you are aware and check yourself/ wife/ sister/ daughter as soon as possible.

2 Lack of support from the husband during pregnancy and after childbirth, financial issues for a new mom, alcohol intake after childbirth are strong pointers for Post Partum depression. You need to take this into cognizance and check yourself before it is too late.

3 Young women who lack the ability to take care of newly born babies can also be exposed to Post Partum depression.

4 That moment you start feeling sad about yourself, your baby, you are filled with despair then you need to check it. These are immense signs of Post Partum depression.

5 When a new mom cries a lot ( usually they just feel the gush of emotions, and they cry for just no reason), they quickly lose interest in food, begin to see less of themselves ( you lose interest in sex, and even self care). These are potential indicators of Post partum depression.

6 When you have a wife that sleeps too much, or a sibling who is a new mom that sleeps too much, hey, you need to check her out for Post Partum depression. Too much of sleep is a huge sign and now YOU KNOW!

7 Postnatal depression can be frightening and extremely dangerous, but there are effective treatments and medical support available to deal with this before it escalates beyond reach.

8 Hallucinations and delusions are huge signs of PPD. You suddenly begin to think the unreal and see the unseen. You begin to experience perception of something not present. This is huge and one needs to do appropriate check up before it becomes extremely deadly.

9 A lot of women do not realize they have Post Partum depression because it just does not suddenly start in a day, it develops over time.

10 We all know the effects of depression is suicidal, it can lead to a woman killing her baby ( as seen in the story above) or even committing suicide. It is so painful to note that a number of deaths from the end of new moms could be as a result of PPD. The painful realization is that people fail to see these signs until havoc have been caused.

Once Post Partum happens, there is no going back and the repercussions are grave! The story above is enough to point out what I mean. Post Partum depression is a critical and sensitive medical emergency. When you notice any of the above symptoms in your wife/ partner, then get leave every thing you are doing and help her get help as soon as possible.

Delay is dangerous!

Romance5 Places To Find Rich Husbands In Lagos by deturla(op): 6:20pm On Aug 12, 2017
It is the dream of many Nigerian ladies to find a rich husband before the age of 30. Although not many will openly admit this, because they will hide behind the guise of being independent and not ready to settle down. But as soon as they meet a rich guy, they are ready to throw caution to the wind and find ways to make him propose to them. Some of them even subscribe to blogs that provide information on how to attract and keep a man. Well, if you belong to this category of ladies, and have been finding it difficult to find a rich husband, then maybe you have been searching the wrong places. Below is a list of places where you can find a rich husband in Lagos:

1 Protea Hotel Ikeja

Protea Hotel Ikeja is a place where modern styles meet the needs of comfort. There is no way you visit this hotel and stay at the lobby without running into some rich guy. Everything about this hotel speaks sophistication and class and it no doubt attracts people who enjoy the luxurious lifestyle that comes with a grand place. As such, if you are having difficulty meeting a rich husband, be sure to visit this luxury hotel in Lagos.

2 Murtala Mohammed Airport

Murtala Mohammed Airport (both local and international) is another place where you can meet a rich husband in Lagos. The rich man you desire to have as a husband most likely runs a business that may require him to travel from one place to the other within the country and outside the country. As such, if you take regular visits to the airport, you will no doubt run into someone who fits into exactly what you want in a man. So, if I were you, I will look for a reason to visit the airport regularly whether I have something to do there or not (winks*).

3 Piccolo Mondo Restaurant

Piccolo Mondo Restaurant is an exquisite restaurant in Lagos that attracts a high caliber of guests day in day out. Finding a table in this restaurant can be quite difficult if you are low on cash, but well you will do yourself so much good if you find a way to get yourself a table in this restaurant. After you have gotten a table for yourself, be sure to smile often as this brightens your face and make you appear approachable to your potential suitors. The mere fact that you are spotted in a place like this will make the men interested in you.

4 Oriental Lagos Hotel

The Oriental Lagos Hotel is another great place to find a rich husband in Lagos. Even though the hotel has been in existence for sometime now, the class of people it attracts has not changed over the years. In fact, the reception area is always full of people from all walks of life. But be careful not to end up with a married man because many of these Lagos married men always appear single. Remember hell hath no fury like a scorned woman. You don’t want the wives of these rich Lagos men coming after you with all they’ve got. Even if you live to tell the tale, I am sure the encounter will not be a pleasant one.

5 COZA Lagos

It is a known fact that people no longer go to churches because they want to fellowship with God, there are many other reasons why people go to churches these days. Depending on the size and location of the church, you are bound to meet someone that suits your criteria. Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) is one of such churches where you can find a rich husband. Many rich young men find their way to COZA to worship every Sunday. So what are you waiting for? Get your decent church clothes, moderate heels and be ready to “lift up your holy hands” in COZA next Sunday. You might never know who is watching you.

Feel free to add yours!

I know that for newly registered company who is yet to commence business operations, you are required to submit a statment of affairs and also pay what is called a POL levy
Pre-operational levy right?
BusinessRe: Nigerian Tax Matters by deturla: 8:56pm On Aug 05, 2017
phemmy26:
your write up is quite informative but i still maintain my ground. Let me butress it further

Every company is required by law to file a self assessment return every year and a return consist of the audited accounts, tax computation and capital allowance computation, self assessment forms etc. Now this is the case of a company who has commenced business operations.

I referred you to section 29 because Section 55 clearly defined and shows at what stages or position when the companies are expected to file returns and made reference to section 29 to buttress the points and in doing that, there explainations there points to company already in business because the terms like assessable profits, year of assessment, assessable profits of any company from any "trade or business it all relates to company already in business

The only time in the Tax law that relates to the preparation of statement of affairs which is relevant is where a taxpayer has the need of a Tax Clearance certificate most especially when it is more than 6month after incorporation and not yet commenced business.

Again let me break it down further with the section you quoted earlier on below

Section 55 of the Companies Income Tax Act, as Amended, states that “Every Company including a company granted exemption from incorporation shall whether or not the company is liable to pay tax under this Act for a year of assessment, with or without notice from the service (FIRS), file a self assessment returns with the service in the prescribed form at least once a year…

Looking at the above, look at the term file a "self assessment". Now self assessment comes from filing of returns which i also explained earlier on as to what makes up a return. It all just refers to company already in business operations. Can i ask you another question. Is statement of affairs considered as a Return?

cc Jarus Your input is needed. Thanks
Hmmmmn.....Supporting the above though.

Unfortunately, there is no section in the tax laws that exempts companies which are yet to commence business from filing tax returns.

There is also no section in the law that explicitly states that companies yet to commence business should also file tax returns! Sections 29 and 55 of the CIT can be argued both ways with depending on what arm of the law you are on, since the law is not exactly clear on this. Are you looking at the law from a consultant perspective or from the government perspective.

What makes up a self assessment returns infact? Statement of affairs of a registered company that has not even commenced business? What is the basis for the profits that is assessed? What am I even filing as a company registered with the CAC and not yet with FIRS. It is until I register with the FIRS that I fall under their purview, even if that takes me donkey years to achieve. ( I will have to pay penalties for late registration anyway).

Sometimes we need to leave tax laws with its ambiguity and focus on what is obtainable in practice. How has the Revenue service in practice been treating newly registered companies. Have you ever come across a newly registered company being assessed for tax on assessable profit?

The law can be an ass sometimes though. LOL!

BusinessFG Confirms The Taxation Of First, Business Class Tickets & Luxury Goods by deturla(op): 6:42pm On Aug 05, 2017
FG to tax First, business class tickets and luxury goods.

“We signed something yesterday on luxury goods: champagne, brandy, whiskey, wine, jewelry, high-end jewelry,”

“We’ve signed something that will bill access charge on first class and business class tickets, we are just doing the final parts of the implementation and we also want to try and amend the tax payer book on high end cars, luxury cars.”

These were the words of the Nigerian Minister of Finance on Thursday on Facebook Live chat also known as Tax Thursday.

In her response to questions from Nigerians, the Minister confirmed that the Federal Government has signed a tax policy that enforces the taxing of first and business class air fares alongside other luxury items.

She also stated in the chat that these taxes will be used to develop the country as regards improving the social infrastructure of the country. She said:

“If we move our tax-to-GDP ratio up, it means two things: One, we will be able to provide more services to our people. Many of the things we are not able to do are function of the fact that we don’t have enough money,” she said.

“We need to build more schools, we need to build more hospitals, we need to build more roads. This is not rocket science. Every country has challenges, there is nothing we are facing that other countries haven’t faced.

“Every poor nation has very poor tax compliance rate and every rich nation has high compliance rate. So we want to be a prosperous nation. So what is in it for the citizens? If everybody pays, there will be far more money in the pool to be spent on the services that we need.

“These things are what we call public goods, and they are funded from taxes. If you have been all around the country, you’ve seen the need, you’ve seen the number of people that are living in poverty, we can lift people from poverty if we have the right money.

“We could do so much more in the economy if we had the money. If our public school system improves, many people who are currently paying school fees will move their children back into the public schools.

“A lot of people that are very successful today were educated in public schools because the public schools were good; we can recreate that. Same with health system. A lot of people die needlessly because we don’t have the right health facilities.”

Share your thoughts on this in the comment section below. Is this the right move for the Federal Government? Will the tax be used judiciously?

They look nice in theory but utter nonsense in practice. And they don't work. It's unfortunately what most are doing. I should know because I have tried all of them.

The course is what I wish someone had put together when I was starting. If I sound salesy, remember I'm not selling it. It's going to be absolutely free. Free but immensely valuable.

Not thin too. From what I can see on my google docs as I flesh it out, it could cover almost 6 months. But I will look to chop some fluff.

All white hat SEO if I may add. No black juju stuff here that can get you banned by google.

It's also mostly going to be what you haven't ever heard. Unique is the word.

'Na lie. Na wetin all of them they talk,' I can hear you whispering. It's not a lie (sorry for the dbanj referencing).

So how unique?

Many 'SEO expert' tell you to always write regularly and keep your site fresh and updated. No wonder I see people on here always looking for content and blog writers.

This is absolute nonsense and unnecessary.

I will show you how to write 4 articles per year and beat the pants off your competitors. Can you manage just writing 4 articles? I know I can.

So stop wasting your valuable time writing mostly rubbish because some SEO guy told you that you should write 5 articles per week.

Write valuable contents primarily for your readers is another rubbish I hear preached on the SEO altar.

Absolute wash!

If you do this I can guarantee your failure.

So much to say, man. That's why I'm putting the course together.

It's going to be really stressful for me putting it together as I barely have enough time these days but I feel a lot of people need this.

I'm going to gauge the interest in this. If not enough people sign up, I will just scrap it.

So if you want this, vote by subscribing to the course then I know the interest is there.

Let me end the rant here but I'm so vexed so many people are led astray by these rubbish advice and even worse charged for them.

So please bear with me if I don't answer your SEO questions in detail here. Just go for the course.

Happy blogging.

Cheers.
Good stuff.

HealthThe World Hepatitis Day: 10 Things You Should Know Now! by deturla(op): 8:56am On Jul 28, 2017
Where are all the men? You should not miss this post on today’s world hepatitis day! Girlfriends, you are also not left out! Wives, how are you helping your husband and family? This post is for all of you! You are saving one more life be jumping on this and empowering yourselves with the knowledge required to tackle hepatitis on the world hepatitis day.

The world hepatitis day is here again. According to the Worldhepatitisday.com, hepatitis is a viral disease that has killed 1.34 million men, women and children every year – as compared to other diseases like malaria, tuberculosis and HIV/ AIDS.

In the last fifteen years, Hepatitis has grown, evolved and changed lives. The risk and possibilities of having this dreadful disease has also increased over time that countries, body corporate, Non-government organisations, medical personnel and most importantly the World health organisation has jumped on the theme to continually raise awareness of the virus, and to also influence detailed understanding and what needs to be done to prevent this dreadful disease across board.

Do you know that?

About 300 million people are living with Hepatitis in the world? Your brother, family friend, boyfriend, husband, wife or even you might be living with this harmful disease and you may not know!?

This year 2017 already,, there are 325 million living with hepatitis, yet less than 2% have access to medicines all over the world. Therefore today being the world hepatitis day provides the perfect opportunity to sensitize people on this viral disease and also proffer solutions as regards access to health facilities to treat this disease.

What is Hepatitis?

Hepatitis is an health condition where the liver is inflamed.

Although there are other major causes of hepatitis, it is majorly a caused by viral infection. Other possible causes include secondary result of medications, drugs, toxins, and heavy alcohol consumption, and an abnormal immune response to a normal body part also known to be autoimmune diseases.

World Hepatitis Day: There are 5 types of hepatitis

The five types of hepatitis are classified as hepatitis A,B,C,D, and E. While Hepatitis A (like some of you are aware) is acute and short term, B,C,D are most likely ongoing, recurring and very chronic! Hepatitis E, is usually acute and very dangerous especially in pregnant women.

The 5 types of viral hepatitis

Viral infections of the liver that are classified as hepatitis include hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. A different virus is responsible for each type of virally transmitted hepatitis.

Let me not bore you with too much information. These are the 10 things you need to know about hepatitis. I believe with this, you will know the pro-active actions to take to deal with this viral infection.

1 People may have no symptoms of hepatitis while some other people may develop visible symptoms like skin discolouration, poor appetite, pain around the abdomen, vomiting, diarrhoea.

2 Hepatitis may be acute (temporary) or chronic (short term). This is dependent on whether it stays up to or more than 6 months on the body of the infected person(s). Remember that a typical hepatitis case may result in the other, and the time span for changing phases may be short, depending on the swiftness to treating when discovered!

3 Some of the signs and symptoms include (but not limited to) tiredness, dark urine, pale and watery stool, unexpected weight loss, yellow skin, yellow eyes, and typical signs of jaundice.

4 Drug use can lead to hepatitis. For you that is keen with self-medication all the time. You better watch it Now!!

5 Hepatitis, especially C is ten times more infectious than HIV/AIDS. Hepatitis C can also be sexually transmitted but the likelihood of contacting the virus is through sharing needles, blood transfusions and other equipment used in injecting drugs. Even unsterilized tattoo needles can lead to a viral Hepatitis infection! Take Note!!

6 80% of people infected with Hepatitis C do not even know that they have it. This is shocking but true!

7 Dirty environments, poor sanitation like dirty bathroom, drinking contaminated water, eating food that is not properly cooked, and under-cooked meat of pigs can expose you to a high level ad risk of contracting hepatitis A and E.

8 People in areas flooding too are exposed to the virus. Remember the recent Lagos flooding? Hmmn!!

9 Hepatitis B is usually transferred for mother to child, hence the major reason why a lot of pregnant women are tested for one typle. If you are pregnant and have not been tested. Quickly rush to your doctor.

10 Chronic hepatitis can lead to liver failure and when that begins to happen, your brain can relapse and that can lead to a condition close to dementia. Also, there may be issues with blood clotting since faulty liver leads to fewer protein which helps to clot blood.

When you notice any of the symptoms in detecting whether you have Hepatitis or not. Please go see a doctor, I am not a doctor, would have used this as a marketing strategy to say you should contact me.

Visit a doctor for medical check up and screening.

Also, we should try as much as possible to check certain lifestyle behaviours like the food we eat and water we drink. The cheapest and most available lifestyles activities we partake in are the things that cause dangerous diseases and viral infections to our body! Sound health is as expensive as it is cheap!

Prevention is better than cure! Pass this information around please and get family and friends reading, it’s the world hepatitis day! Have you gone for a check up already?

BusinessRMAFC Discovers N115bn Tax Liabilities Owed By FG, States MDAs by deturla(op): 6:08pm On Jul 27, 2017
- Federal government agencies domiciled in certain states have failed to remit Pay as You Earn (PAYE) that have accrued over the years

- 40 billion still expected to be uncovered.

- Adamawa, Borno, Delta, Ebonyi, Katsina & Kebbi States given clean bill of health for tax compliance.

Recall that the Federal Inland Revenue Service has announced in 2011 that it would soon begin to wield the heavy arms of the law on government agencies over issues related to tax non-compliance; a situation that subsequently led to the arrest of Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Chief, Adami Ismaila, over N28 billion unremitted taxes, a recent tax recovery exercise by Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has led to the discovery of N115, 811, 884,454.01 tax liabilities against a number of federal and states’ Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

The local government council were also not left out of these revelations by RMAFC as they were entangled in the tax liabilities as well.

RMAFC’s Head of Public Relations, Ibrahim Mohammed, made this known in a statement yesterday that the commission was able to ascertain the amount as tax liabilities from the first phase of the tax investigation and recovery exercise carried out for the period 2005 – 2015 in 30 states.

He also said that N40 billion were still expected to be uncovered since the exercise is 10% away from completion. The concluding phase will have the commission shine its light on Bauchi, Cross River, Edo, Enugu and River States.

The statement further said that all states charged in this tax brouhaha has indicated their willingness to remit the liabilities and pleaded for waiver of penalty of N24,030,004,256.31 comprising N9,748,742,417.28 penalty and N14,281,261,839.03 interest respectively.

The statement also included the clean health status given to Adamawa, Borno, Delta, Ebonyi, Katsina & Kebbi States as they are were tax compliant.

Ibrahim Mohammed also stated in the statement that “in the course of the exercise, it was discovered that some Federal Government Agencies domiciled in the States were not remitting Pay As You Earn (PAYE) to the state governments thus depleting their Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) base.”

The commission also advised states like Bauchi, Cross River, Edo, Enugu and Rivers which are yet to join in the exercise to participate in the spirit of equity and fair play since they also reap from the dividends of tax proceeds remitted by other States.

My questions are:

a. What is the basis for the States holding on to these funds from 2005 and why will they plead for tax penalty and interest waiver?

b. Since their corporate and individual counterparts fail the full weight of the law over tax compliance issues, then they should also be made to face such sanctions as well?

What do you think?

WebmastersRe: How To Make $500 A Month With A Niche Site by deturla: 3:18pm On Jul 27, 2017
Nichesiteseo:
99.9% of the niche sites/blogs out there will make no money

Depressing headline yeah?

But true.

But before we get to that let me clarify what a niche site is.

A niche site doesn't mean a small site with a couple of pages.

A niche means a small segment of an overall market.

It means an intense focus on one particular topic which is part of an overall subject.

So a football site is a niche site.

Though football in general is a very vast topic but it's a niche nevertheless.

Why?

Football is a segment of an overall subject matter like sports.

So niche doesn't mean small.

Why you are probably going to fail with your niche site/blog

Most of you will fail. That's a given.

I'm not talking statistics here.

I'm saying most will fail because they do something very horribly WRONG even before they start!

It's so shocking because almost everyone I know trying to start a niche site makes this STUPIDLY AWFUL error at the very beginning.

I want you to sit up at this point because this is probably going to be the most important post you will ever read if you are about starting a niche site/blog.

I started this thread just this week and i have been pitched dozens of sites to give my advice on.

And here is the sad truth:

Not a single one of this site is going to make money!

Not one!

Yeah some might be (I don't know) but I'm ready to put my balls on the table to say none is and none will.

If the blogs I have been asked to look at are actually making any money it's blind luck!

Look:

If you are one of those that has emailed me about taking a look at your site I'm sorry but you might as well give up now.

No, it's not about your design.

Nor your content or layout.

No, it's not about being approved for Adsense or not.

It's something you are awfully doing wrong that it will take the big guy upstairs to come down to earth, for you to make a dime.

I'm sorry but that's the bitter truth.

I'm not here to make you happy. I'm here to make you money.

Right now I'm traveling and typing furiously on my phone.

I want to do this post justice so this is just the first part.

I intend to do a follow up at the best possible moment so you will have to forgive me for the cliff hanger.

If you are about to start a niche blog, please don't do anything yet till I publish the second part of this post.

The one single most significant factor that makes 99.9% of niche sites out there a waste of time for the owner is a big mistake they make even before they start.

Yes, those 32+ blogs I have received in my email will fail horribly. The horror!

And the saddest part is, they made a big fatal error even before starting.

They brought a pencil to a gun fight!

And it's not just these people. It's everyone out there.

I just need 5 seconds on a blog/niche site to know if it's going to be a total fail. Just 5 secs.

So please if you just starting a niche site/blog and haven't done anything yet (no domain, no conetent, no research done yet) don't make a move until I come back.

If you have started don't panic, there is still hope for you.

Until then...
Choi, you eh?

You make for a fine writer.

Are you more of a story teller than just a content person?

I'm glued. Keep it coming!
