mercylicious: My bnsitl, I heard a dream yesternight, I was given a name of an insurance stock and told it will hit 6naira.Mercy, have mercy on the psychology of peeps oh! ![]() |
Dragonking: Yes na.. ![]() High prices never scare me cos l believe everything's relative. If forte oil is considered a high priced stock, what is our baseline for this consideration? The company's fundamentals or it's sector peers (who of course have different fundamentals)? I'm always about my potential upside in percentages. That's what matters to me anyway. And l think Forte Oil presents a good momentum opportunity. |
Dexterax: I don't doubt you mehn. The FO phenomenon is just crazy. Really. And peeps keep thinking the stock will lose steam soon. I dey laff.FO heading back up in early trading already! ![]() |
Dragonking: Yes, crazy but true but if you doubt, you can confirm from todays market trades. Also, Carveton on my mindI don't doubt you mehn. The FO phenomenon is just crazy. Really. And peeps keep thinking the stock will lose steam soon. I dey laff. |
Dragonking: I dont think FO will drop below N200 IMO. If you watch closely, someone is buying below N200 during trading hours and the price still closes around N200 or above. also when you try to buy, you will get the info that it isnt available. I currently have FO and i hope to wait until their result is out, which will be soon. Not a buy or sell recommendation. This is crazy mehn ![]() |
Will sound crazy but I put up Forte Oil on my charts this weekend and the MSCI company has come under my radar. The eagle is circling, any further price downturn from this NGN 200 Friday close and I'm in... |
securi: U are laughing, hmmmm dats's abt 20m at stake o, before what happened to dat german guy happen to ur broTo ur bro abi? ![]() |

@Michael I won't be too hard on thy soul, not tonight. I understand it's Friday night and a lot of water (or babes and booze) may have passed under the bridge (or....) ![]() |
Michael11stock: visit eternaplc.com for what they do, an investor invest into a business.Like seriously? Ok....in all obedience. The excerpt below is from the funny looking website: "Eterna Plc, a quoted public limited integrated energy company engages in the manufacturing and sale of lubricating oils, importation and bulk/retail sale of petroleum products including PMS, AGO, LPFO, base oils, bitumen and export of lubricants/fuels, bunkering, Gas distribution and marketing (LPG and NG), Offshore and Onshore oil services, Gas Processing, equipment supply services and other engineering and technical services for the energy industry." Please interpret the above. I don't understand it... ![]() |
davide470: Don't take it personal na. Lol. But Eterna is also into Oil Servicing, apart from downstream business.U sef wan follow pullover? ![]() |
Michael11stock: It is not a must for an oil company to import before they make money, Eterna is into production and export as well u see chevron and shell there? And are they not making big money? So be smart my guyOgbeni park! When Eterna enter production abeg? Gimme the code of the OML they operate oya, sharply. U see this your Eterna-CrudeOilProduction-Theory? Na only you waka come I swear. |
securi: Chai! Eternal no dey o. Gbese!Supplementary list dey come. ![]() |

presiade: I saw stanbic at N15 junction just before they released their result last year, now it has not only surpassed Zenith bank, it's rightly pursuing GTbank...I made it clear to Moneysage months ago that that stock would become more overvalued over time. They're doing their thing right especially since after the holding structure consolidation. We can expect FBN Holdings to follow suit soon. |
mercylicious: Valuefront go don make plenty money now. He discovered dt stock on time and said its a 5naira stock, bt lamented its in d insurance sector where prices don't move easily due to negative sentiments. Time has proved him right. The way they're running things, they should be priced at higher multiples of their earnings and coast at the price range of UBA. |
Random thoughts... Custodian & Allied Insurance might just represent the next FO phenomenon. |
ItGeek: hello house,It means that trades were executed through cross trades - between buyers and sellers within the same brokerage house. |
@Mercy...the "licious" one oh The chart pattern readily deductible from what was posted by chief TA is an inverse head and shoulders formation. It's a major pattern for trend reversal (after a bearish trend). If you remember, I played this formation on Costain in Dec 2013 -Jan 2014. Summary: expect more upside from the broad All-Share index. |
evilspirit: I am right behind you guys. The spirit knows everythingOh my! I'm shivering... ![]() |
