My nipple is sore with bruises. what can I use to get relief. I've been wearing bra morning and night since my baby arrived because I don't want it to sag. Pls am I doing the right thing?
I don't have anyone to massage my body since monday. Pls what can I do to flatten my tummy

Congratulations to you. Your labour really went fast. May ours be like that and even easier. From the birth stories have read so far, looks like labour progresses faster for second and third time mum's than first time mum's.

As i said earlier i woke up by 1 am and couldnt sleep again. No pain just that my eye dey shine like touch. Went to toilet 4 times before 3am.
All the while i was playing hayday. At 3.30, i felt something like menstrual pain. But e no bother me as i remember. MY first delivery, i gave birth 2 weeks after i had such cramp.
I decided to get up by 4qm to prepare for work as against my 5am alarm since sleep no gree come.
After cooking and parking my office bag, i had my bath and prayed. By 6am, small sleep came and i woke up with lower waist pain by 6.15am. It still be like film. I just begin play hayday again.
Left the house by 6.35am as usual, while i was about leaving our gate, i had that pain again, had to hug a car for a while. Dh said i should not bother going but i form hulk hogan and carry myself waka. Managed to get to work which is 45 mins drive away from home.

On getting to work i called our office matron and explained to her, she said i shd ignore and if by 10am i still feel it i should come for checking.
By 9.45, i could no longer wait as d pain was 20mins apart. I rushed to clinic and was told 4cm dilated and still dilating. She said i shd pik race back home before i deliver for road. Chai, i never even pack hospital bag o. I sharpaly went back to d office and packed all my belongings. Rushed to park and tool drop straight home. On the way icalled dhand was telling him what to pack.
By 11.25am i was home carried my hospital bag and dh followed me. We left dd with her nanny.
Got to hospital by 11.39.
I was checked and they said 6cm.
Changed me to delivery gown and ruptured the water.
Before they finished rupturing, doc screamed, full dilation by 11.50.
Oya na hear i begin shout mummy, God helpme.
The matron said push u re just wasting this pain, i never hear this kind word before.
They said baby was crowning but my previous stitch is so firm and is preventing eleasticity. Na so them cut am and my prince came shouting at 12.03pm weighing 3.15kg.
Placenta followed by 12. 15 and na so Godwin for my case o. They were all shocked as i progressed very fast.

Oh edd was given as April 14. And i forgot to tell u guys, i designed the delivery bed with poo. Every push was with poo. I have been hearing people poo while in labour now i am a living witness

Wish all remaining mar h mamas, my april mamas and all that are pushing easier delivery than mine.

God just blessed us with a bouncing baby boy.. Bs later. Gave birth 12 noon placenta cane 12.15

Una good morning o. Na since 1am my eye open like frog own. I have gone to toilet thrice and am beginning to have cramps with lower back ache, itsquite painful, though no contraction yet. I dont want to be chased up and down hospital like dd so am keeping fingers crossed. I will try pack my hospital bag when i get back from work today. Tomorrow is my anc. Proudly team april for supernatural birth.
Adewunmi84, dont worry she will be fine. If its milo she can tolerate let her take it but in moderation. I am 38weeks gone and i still take my milo, ovaltine and also lipton as the spirit directs. I think thw size of the baby has to do mainly with genes. Also i read baby starts addind weight from 7 months.

Rukemi291, u are very right, we spent around 50k too. Dh said after this na lock and throway key. Imagine, i asked what if pikin still hungry me after this, guess what he said. We will adopt. Can u imagine.?
He also wishes its a boy this time, funnily, we have tried checking sex like 4 times and each time baby turns back and keeps rigmarolling during scan. I give up on finding out as i have just abt 2 weeks to go by The Special Grace of the Almighty.

Its kinda with the package. I dont eat until am sure i wont be standing up for thenext 30 mins. I feel breathless after eating esp if the food is much. Let her eat little at a time. She will be fine. And stay hydrated with enough fluid. Whether water or juice, anyone she can tolerate. It helps. Thanks for being a great dh. U will def be a great dad

check if the place is swollen or hard, if yes, use cold compress slightly, i used it for dd back then and she always slept off in the process. its normal, she will be fine at hte end of the day. just bf her throughout

pele dear, try gaggle salt solution and take ginger &garlic tea with honey warm, thats what i take to relief my cough /cattarh most times.

i have mentioned it several times on this thread. i even use it for dd.
i make it myself, boil mashed ginger and garlic and allow it to cool, sieve and add honey, take it warm

Teegali, i know its hard to forget esp with dhs attitude. But try forgive them. Forgiving people comes with its own blessing. May u celebrate fully this time. No village or whereever and try use a general Hospital. From my experience, they are more thorough with child birth and child care though some of them may be rude to u but their insults doesn't mean anything compare to the joy u feel everytime u see ur baby.
We shall all celebrate with u this time.

i am a muslim and dh is a christian, we have been married for close to 4 years, with a kid and the other on the way, both of us are still practicing our various religions. We both love each other so much and are practicing our religion cos we want to practice them not cos our parents wants us to.

i have my praying corner in my inlaws house. we do all festivals together as a couple and thats it.

Figur, your story can as well happen to families that are same religion but the family never wanted them to marry so its not cos of the religious difference.

Simpleseyi and thorpido, marriage is beyond religion, no matter your religious belief, if your marriage will see the light of the day, it depends on both of you. there are people with same religion and happy as well as there are those with different and are also happy. its both sides of the coin.

so OP, first thing first, if your parent have to dictate how you will run your home, you are already starting on a wrong foot. they don't want her cos of her religion, they will reject another for something else. make up your mind and do what you feel is best for you.

Ngsoundz, dear that itching is something else, i experienced a bad episode of it on tues night. My whole body was swollen with itching ans my lips, face everywhere but i rushed to d hospital very early yesterday morning and was given hydrocot injection and a drug. I feel much better now. Pls go to the hospital if its severe, read something about severe itching for some preggies in 3rd trimester. Its better to be safe than sorry.

there was a day one useless man was telling me i should resign and finish having babies before coming back to work (mind you my baby is 2 yrs 1 month) . he said thats what they do abroad, i just answered him " Sir we are in Nigeria" most people that complain about ur child are very annoying and it takes your energy to argue with em, they are not worth it.

I am no Northerner either, neither am I married to one but, I am just appalled at the way people over react whenever northerners are involved. What just happened disgust me no doubt. I have a daughter also, but I also know so many parents lax in properly bringing up their kids. Young girls go out with boyfriends yet, their parents in most cases may not even be aware. They think love is some magical thing and will do crazy things just for love. I have seen so many cases like this.

It is the parent's duty to skillfully orientate their kids towards what is right. It is hard, it is difficult but without that, things like this will always happen yunusa or no yunusa,... and that is my point.

Sincerely, this case is really saddening. but somehow its overhyped maybe cos of the present sentiments on the rise in this country. i did my NYSC in that area and i can tell you most of their girls are already sexually active from age 9 and even have kids in their parent's house and life continues. The fuss they are all making is mostly because of the guys religion and the CONVERSION which i am against.
if we are all true to ourselves, many youngstars elope all in the name of love (LUST). but most cases swept under the carpet but the volatile situation the country is in is what is making this an issue.

funnilly, another benue case is coming up, just to get public sympathy i suppose, when they voluntarily use their women to serve visitors? funny people i must say
