Purplebirdrep: Exposed!! EFCC begs Obanikoro to help implicate Fayose, promises him safe landing
Exposed!! EFCC beg Obanikoro to help implicate Fayose, promise him safe landing
Information reaching the Punch News has it that EFCC, under the direct order from the presidency perfected the return of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro back to the country just to implicate Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state.
The arrangement came in order to see to the political end of the outspoken Ekiti governor, who has in countless times taken the Buhari administration to the cleaner.
Punch News has authoritatively gathered that the sudden reappearance of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro in Nigeria after more than a year of disappearance had the backing of the presidency.
The deal with Obanikoro to come to Nigeria was brokered and struck by some powerful northern elements in the presidency. It was gathered that the seemingly lost battle with Governor Fayose of Ekiti State did not go down well with the presidency.
Obanikoro, according to one of his aides that confided in our reporter met with the Buhari's emissaries after series of calls and promises. One of such promises Punch News learnt was a soft-landing which will include the type of clemency given to a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress and former military governor of Kaduna state, Jafaru Isa, who the presidency told to return N100m out of the N170m he reportedly received from embattled former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki to regain his freedom, rights, and privileges.
Another source in the presidency says Buhari is determined to have the last laugh over the 'stubborn' Ekiti governor.
The source says, "Baba (Buhari) is not happy with the way EFCC has not been able to tie down Fayose, his constant attacks on Buhari and his government do provoke Baba and his kinsmen, and they're as well determined to bring the governor down by all means.
"Buhari and his kinsmen won't let Fayose's constant diatribes against the president and his administration go unchallenged. The battle is on, the presidency will deploy all within its power (legal or illegal) to fight the governor.
But the fearless Governor has swiftly responded in usual manner by advising the president to stop the wild goose chase and put an end to the sufferings of Nigerians. The governor says, "Nigerians were more interested in having food on their tables, those who arranged the dramatic and compromised return of Senator Obanikoro to Nigeria obviously did so in continuation of their project ‘Fayose must be implicated at all cost’ but I am not bothered because my election was legitimately funded.
“However, if this is why they are intimidating judges and the judiciary, it won’t work as far as my own matter is concerned as no one can play God.
“As far as I am concerned, I am busy here in Ekiti attending to the welfare and well-being of my people. I won’t be distracted.”
Senator Musiliu is expected to regain his freedom as soon as he's done implicating the Ekiti governor. Only a mind filled with so much evil ,deep rooted hate and soooo much pain could concoct this. |

klassic: So someone tried to sleep with your wife, she reported the issue to you. And you wish to report to the EFCC, ICPC, DSS OR POLICE; but the person in question is so powerful that without concrete evidence you go no where.what will you do?
I bet you will just advise your wife to be careful. So you both can avoid his trouble.
If you have a contrary view lemme hear it. You a re a powerful supreme court judge and your Pastor sleeps with your wife, your leave it because you want to avoid trouble? |

Vatsyayana: Verbally? Verbally!? As a Supreme Court Justice, the highest court in the land...Okoro should know verbal report is not the best way to report corruption officially. He is trying to turn the table around. And I like Amaechi's response. "Our Lawyer will get to you!" To me the Judge is silly, Someone attempts to Bribe you 10 moths ago, you did nothing other than gossip with the CJN 10 months later you are arrested for receiving bribes with evidence shown to you, and your defense is, Amaechi also tried to Bribe me too and i refused.. |

kutchs: And there lies the problem, Buhari and Amaechi can live with all the accusations they get because they are in charge and nobody can investigate or probe them. If the EFCC and DSS were truly independent and doing their jobs without instructions from Aso Rock you see these your saints will be disgraced. Why hasn't Buhari probed Buratai, Dambazzau, Babachir Lawal and Abba Kyari who have been accused the same way Okoro, Dimgba, Ngwuta etc were accused? No, they live with it because the accusations are baseless and it keeps coming from non credible and unreliable sources still reeling over the loss of their Principal in the last election. Now we had a Revered person in a Supreme Court Judge that could pass as a credible Witness did nothing tangible the very moment he claimed a bribe attempt was made other than his supposed gossip with the CJN, only for him to whine 10 months later when he is accused of receiving bribes |

dokiOloye: If U read his response well,U will note that he said he reported the incidence 'verbally' to the CJN. such a feeble defense coming from a Supreme court judge. |

AirFireEarthH20: So you didn't read the part where Justice Okoro said in his letter he reported to the CJN immediately Amaechi tried to bribe him or you read but chose to close you eyes and minds about that part? Why are you guys like this? Why can't you even use your common sense to think that why did the judge called Amaechi's name and not other people? Oh I forget Amaechi is a saint! Gullible and brainewashed fellow What happened to Reporting the case to ICPC or EFCC. He reported to CJN, and CJN did nothing and he let it slide only to raise his voice 9 Months later when he is arrested for corruption and a large stash of Foreign currency found on him. |

kutchs: Of course we know Amaechi could and would deny it but it doesn't cahnge the fat that he and Buhari tried to influence the man. PMB and Amaechi daily receive all manner of accusations and can live with it, the question is, would life remain the same for our "revered" Supreme Court Judge? He has been Disgraced, his name has been soiled like used Sanitary Pads and all he could do was come up with is this feeble defense of Amaechi trying to induce him Ages ago. |

RedCapChief: There is nothing abnormal in receiving estacode in foreign currency. It is the norm. Ministers receive about $900 per day. Imagine how much Justices of the Supreme Court must receive.
He made a verbal report.
We all know this is Nigeria. Nothing would have happened even if he filed a formal report. Buratai and Dambazzau who have been exposed. What did you do to them?
As a Supreme Court Judge, making a formal complaint or Petition in Writing to the EFCC or any other statutory body concerned would carry a lot of weight and that should have been the right thing to do, now the only hogwash defense he has is that he Verbally reported to the CJ, that is not admissible in any way, Amaechi could so easily deny that... for crying out loud He is a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. |

How silly and senseless can this Judge be.., Some high profile personalities decides to Bribe you and you didnt report them to the relevant authorities immediately, 9 months later you are arrested for Fraud and you come up with such silly defense whining from pillar to post. If Amaechi was indicted and arrested then, the Nation would have been rid of one corrupt top shot |

Blackberrybabes: It was a sad tale over the weekend in Lagos around Ijora Costain axis of the city when a commercial bus had a fatal accident while on full speed. The driver was said to have lost control of the vehicle and made a head-on collision with a huge with a rigged pole by the side of the road. This caused so much damage to the front of the vehicle and not less than three people were injured in the accident. The most affected of the injured was a young guy who sat beside the driver. He was so unfortunate he got stuck in the wreckage of the vehicle. It took a very long time to get him out after much effort by concerned road users. Emergency lines were called several times and the response was the number was not reachable. He was eventually taken off the wreckage by a team of vehicle towers that were called to the scene of the accident. an ambulance arrived, but not until the victim had been rescued and in a very critical condition. He was later taken away in the ambulance for further treatment. http://www.blackberrybabes.com/2016/10/man-got-stuck-in-vehicle-after-fatal.html how many died? why use the word fatal? |
