Vctr: An applauding develpment one must say, But awarding such huge contract to the chinese company is what's disturbing. The economy is in recession, it would have been best to sponsor an indigineous company for the job. Are you for real? The project is probably a PPP initiated by the Kano State Govt. with China who would be willing to run the entire project with their funds having offered a extensive period repayment plan. Which Nigerian indigenous coy would offer that? |

Rikidony: a welcome development, God brought APC to salvage the nation from the rot and lootocracy of the IB led PDP.
we need to spend more on infrastructure if we wanna get out of this self inflicted recession, and I am happy to see all this projects coming up.
Calabar light rail completed
Lagos light rail due for commissioning by December
Lagos to kano ongoing construction
calabar to PH rail signed
contractors back on federal road across the country.
Nigeria will be great again.
wailers from the yeast how market God bless You. While a whole bunch of confused lot keep shouting recession, hoping Nigerians should go home fold arms, join their ranks and wail like them, Serious Governors and Intelligent folks are massively investing in major infrastructure and investments, a major catalyst that would put Nigeria as a major player in the World's economic map in the coming years |

Aero Contractors has been in debt for almost 10 years, and AMCON has been the majority shareholder since a 20 billion naira bailout was issued to the company in 2010, you don't run an airline industry with a corrupt mindset and dont expect repercussions. No serious government would keep bailing out a non profitable venture. So sad for those who would lose their jobs. but the Company can still bounce back even in a few weeks time. |

Bro, there are no averages, your question sounds painful to the ear.. the Geotechnical properties of the soil where it would be sited, and the size/weight/use of the structure should determine the depth and type of foundation |

Ade3000yrs: If the extreme volatile Northern Nigeria is been bedeviled by poverty and lack of proper education that gave birth to illiteracy and insurgency, what will you call the case in the south "The fear and consequence of oil money as oil money is blood money!" I will rather live in the North in the open planes and vulnerable to the threats of insurgency than to go to the south South! Blv me, the Southern part part of Nigeria is far worse, unliveable and worse dreaded than the vulnerable risk of living in the North. This is evident enough why the Yoruba land will continue to be the hub and mecca of Africa. There is a yoruba proverb that says that "He who invoke evil spirit over the land should be aware that he will never see peace and may never sleep as he will soon be swallowed by the same evil spirit he has invoked! There is a big and thick cloud of darkness hovering the South of Nigeria, a situation far worse than the case in the North. It is already brewing. The birth and consequence of Oil money, oil money is blood money! It will be in the greater interest of the Yorubas and the Hausas and non Oil producing states if Nigeria breaks up so as to leave the deluded and fantasised states that still believes in the significance of oil money, but 95% possibly the worse case for other tribes and oil producing states if it implodes on itself. With the killings in The Southern. BRO, I SHARE YOUR SENTIMENTS, |

HungerBAD: Tweetnator Ben Bruce.
I greet you Sir.
So I looked at the first picture again, and in a twist of irony, the picture represents everything wrong in Nigeria now.
On the right there is the PDP FLAG umbrella. The PDP is on record to be the biggest looters of public funds, any where in the World.
On the left is the MTN LOGO umbrella. MTN has stolen so much from Nigeria that when they were fined, they were fined a couple of BILLIONS in Dollars.
Carrying the Umbrella is a Policeman, who should be in the streets protecting Nigerians, but is busy carrying a Umbrella for a man like himself.
And then there is Ben Bruce, who represents a State in the Senate where nobody has ever seen him there,or even take pictures there once. But he is always everywhere else, except with the people he represents.
All gathered in a State to celebrate with a Governor, who forged his Tax Returns.
This is indeed a gathering of Funny people. epic! |

dhardline: The inhabitants of that road should hold iwuanyawu responsible IMHO. Cause if you look at the road built from obinze junction to Ota mmiri river you'll realize that that road hardly needs any renovation, it's been in perfect condition longer than the futo Owerri road and they were both first awarded at the same time but to different contractors, while the obinze otanmiri road was awarded to a foreign construction company, the futo nekede road was given to iwuanyawu and I can tell you that that road has being reconstructed nothing less than 4 times since it's first construction. his greed will not allow him build a lasting road instead he uses low quality everything so as to keep getting the contract. If you doubt me let that contract be given to Julius beger or some other company and see how long it will last. The greed of some of this rich men knows no bound. This is revealing. GEJ awarded that road to our Igbo political sons in PDP, they used the monies to build houses in Abuja and malls in Lekki. no one was punished or it, While we plead with the Present FG to revisit the road we hope Iwuanyanwu and his band of PDP brigands don't go unpunished |
