Got my visa today, 3 months multi. Submitted on the -13th of May. First time applying to Schengen but have travel history, plus US/Canada Visa.

How long does the embassy hold unto our passport? I submitted since 12th of May and I'm still waiting

Could you please share the documents you submitted..Are we required to bring the originals of all the documents we are submitting? Are we making 2 copies of each document?

I submitted the following docs; banks statement (foreign and local), cover letter, insurance, dud flight and accommodation booking, current and past visas, data page of my passport, letter of recommendation from my employer and salary package. Docs from kids schools. My kids birth certificate, marriage certificate, Land documents from govt.

They don't need original but I made coloured photocopies of my docs.

Does anyone have a clue of what happened to all these documents we submit to these embassies? Scammers can easily get a hold of our documents for bad purposes. So be careful for what you submit to these people.

If your passport is not best, they can advise you sir to retake it. It is still in your interest because visas can be rejected for attaching a wrong passport size. They have specifications. So worryless about the 12k, and pray that your application succeeds. Goodluck

I think the retaking of passport pix is redundant cos they will still take a photo of you during the biometrics which will be lodged in their system and it's this pix that will be used to track you when you travel, except they are looking for any reason just to deny people.

A good place to start would be good travel history, financial proof, certifications or any kind of proficiency that largely suggest how vital and valuable you are as a person so that there wouldn't be any incentive for you to overstay your visa and become a second class citizen in their country etc......It is endless really so it all depends on each person's profile and sometimes the mood of the consular at the time of the evaluating your case (guess that is where prayer comes in lol)...........One thing to also keep in mind is this, I am not sure if this applies to France as a country but for instance, the US embassy by default posits that every non-immigrant applicant wants to elope, so the burden is always on each applicant to disprove this notion and convince the consular officer otherwise. If the French embassy has the same posture then you should look inwards, do a simulation and find a way to blow up the significant areas of your life in your cover letter.

I want one with the manufacturer's name known cos I want to avoid a system that will go bad early or heat up and cause a fire

Hi house, I need advise on the best android multimedia system for an highlander. I have researched our local market and found various types all made in China from unknown brand. Very few sellers offer any kind of warranty for what they sell. I even looked at amazon and found a lot with bad reviews. Some sellers in ladipo has offered me 6 months warranty but raised their price.

Anyone with experience in using these type of radio for their cars?

It's not a glitch, he has gone far on this road and has continued because there has been no consequences from unsatisfied clients. These are some of the reasons he ran away from this forum

My greatest pain from him is not even my own project but a friend's own that I recommended him for the project. Now the couple has spent more than 10mil to do things he was paid for. He doesn't pick up calls nor does he show up.

Another friend's drawing that was paid in full for several months has not been delivered. We've called him continuously for a month now. The guy is ready to proceed with the work. I've advised him.

What I did in similar condition was to look at the owner's manual to determine the type and quantity of oil to use. I asked my mechanic to empty the gear oil out and refill with the new oil I bought. I was with the mechanic to ensure he doesn't over fill it because I already new the quantity needed

Your quoted forex rate from cbn is not available to the ordinary Nigerian that want to import cars, no bank will sell to your at that price. We are left with black market to buy from and their price is far higher, N470 and above. Another problem is if you buy from black market the banks will not allow you to transfer that money abroad to make payment. The last option is to look for Nigerian living abroad that wants to sell their USD and they mostly sell from N430/440.

I stopped using 5w20 after i learnt my lesson when using it to maintain a Rav4. I bought a 2010 model of rav4 in 2014. I only maintained it with 5w20 oil, after 3yrs of using the car i starting hearing a slight grinding noise from the engine whenever I accelerate. The car works fine but the engine noise wouldn't go away, until an expert told me that it was caused by the engine oil and i should change to 5w30. I continued servicing the car with 5w20 for two years thereafter before I sold it. The new owner still rides the car till date.
Now i only use 5w30 for oil change and don't really care about fuel economy.

You all must understand that this kind of refrigerator has only one compressor which is directly linked to the freezer part. The freezer section must be completely frozen before the fridge part will ever get cold, that is why stable electricity is a must. On the other hand you can get this side by side refrigerator that has two compressors, one for the freezer part and the other for the fridge part. Not a good idea, some pillar of the house will be bigger that the 6inch solid blocks and installation of in-wall plumbing and electrical piping will pose a challenge with these solid blocks

The map is for a toyota highlander 2015, i would assume the system is made by toyota.

I tried toyota website and i was directed to get it from their dealers. I am not sure i know anyone willing to sell that in lagos
