@digitman the best tracking freq 4 hot bird is 11919v27500 track 4rm 8am till 8pm it is below w3a a little bit to your right when u face the dish. @ obnelly how are u pls give me the best tracking freq for digitalbania and skydigital

Try 10719 v 27500. 13e use w3 or w7 as your refrence point but since 7e is closer to 13e than 36e i will prefer 7e as your reference point.

Pls to any who have actually tracked hotbird, i will like to a mental picture of the best frequency to track with, the best time of the day to track and lastly will like to know if the direction of the dish is true east or will it be facing the same direction as W3a. A very big thank you to any who will enlighten me on this issue.

why don't you just go for a 1.8m pan instead of mesh? a solid dish will give you better options anyday.

I already have the above and even 2.4 solid but i just want it for a brother who only prefer the mesh type of c band dishes preferably 1.8m due to less in cost or is there any available used 2.4 mesh ?

@ George _D , please from your experience is there any difference in signal gain between a 2.4 metre mesh/net and a 1.8 metre pan. If there is then what percentage increase can one expect from any of the above.
