Hi everyone, please a friend is having a challenge and would like to seek help on how to handle it…

He had earlier evaluated his masters degree (as per evaluating the highest degree)…
In these days of going the PNP route, he discovered he’d be eligible for OINP if he removed his masters and used only his bsc.
He went ahead to request for his transcript and evaluated his Bsc …
Now the problem is in the recent WES evaluation for his Bsc, they also included his masters which he had evaluated before. He contacted them to ask if they could remove the masters and show only the BSc and they said they couldn’t.

Please what should can he do?

What gracious said...however if he still wants to evaluate only BSc, he should use a different body for evaluation. WES will only update.

This looks like lying aka misrepresentation to me o. How can you claim cousin when its actually your sis inlaw which would have still worked. Only thing i can say here is a good LOE with proof stating the truth and hope for the best. Goodluck to them.

Hope others can advice accordingly.

Today has been a very off day. I've been in a funk all day, not exactly sure why but the thought of everything is weighing me down.

I've cried my eyes out in the last few minutes hoping to feel better but i don't.

Please if anyone has an idea, i'm trying to figure out the NOC that would go for a bank's Cash officer. I don't have full access to the person's JD so i'm just trying to get an idea.

I'm aware they're basically incharge of tellers/cashiers, handle cash counting, atm loading, authorise transactions and balance registers, etc etc. I know there's more but just point me in the direction i can look. thanks

The officer has worded the ADR in such a way that I don't think you can get away with anything other than what tshtsh already suggested.

Unless you have another account where money has been sitting, you will need to use a gift deed, explain the money is a gift and hope for the best.

Other option is to sell an asset that can give you the money e.g. car but that only solves for current source of funds not previous gift deed....taking us back to the 50/50 chance.

You may decide to include an LOE about spending the previous gift on a personal emergency being necessitated by COVID if that is the case..... but this LOE may resonate with one VO and another VO may simply not care.....again 50/50.

You are complicating issues. I don't get how someone will work so hard to get an ITA in this present IRCC circumstance but cannot discipline himself enough to leave the money in the account. If you get the PR today will you travel to Canada empty handed ? Or did you borrow the money and present as gift deed and return the money to the owner after submitting your application ? If its so say it and let the experienced members of the blog advice you on how to go about this. You just opened a nairaland account today to bring up an issue that can be clearly avoided. If you want to play the IRCC system with another borrowed gift deed it may backfire as they are asking you for proof of funds because they suspect a foul play.

@bolded You do not know everyone's situation. most people have been waiting for one to two years. In that time some unforseen circumstance (surgery or other health issues, even school fees) may come up that requires urgent need of funds. will you now say you are waiting for Canada and let things fall apart?
Note that i'm not excusing using POF but lets be kind in our thoughts and actions.

someone on this forum mentioned that Stanbic certificate doesn't show start date so it's worth looking into

If the fixed deposit shows a date later than today, one would still need to explain the source of funds. Does that not fall back to a second Deed of Gift? Does it not raise more questions than answers?

see attached for what was requested from my vo. along with this i did PCC and upfront medicals.

For upfront medicals, either book online or visit IOM Abuja to get an appointment. on the day just go with your international passport as well as any medications/glasses currently in use. Also take any referral letters that may be asked for. Once done, upload e medical sheet via webform along with other documents for spouse addition.

Do these two jobs fall under the same NOC? Can I accumulate the experiences in both?

Not under the same NOC…lecturer will have its own and mech eng. too. The Job descriptions are totally different…Yes you can use both work experiences as long as you have a minimum of 1yr continuous experience for one of them and they falls under Noc 0, A or B

sometimes yes...i have someone with similar issue and same VO.

She sent documents to add spouse in August last year. They added him in February and sent BIL just last week. Just hope for the best and sit tight.

Please does it usually take this long for added spouses to get BIL? My spouse was added, and her medicals passed since January, 14th 2022. It is two months down the line and even after several emails, no BIL yet. I am just curious because I see people whose spouses get BIL not too long after their medical is updated as passed. What else can I do to facilitate its issuance? My V.O. unfortunately is now Montreal

Spouse addition was successful-ish in June.Just their meds that wasn't acknowledged. I dash them that one, we're redoing upfront medicals tomorrow. fingers crossed that this will trigger PPR soon.

You can't pay with your naira card. [s]All banks naira card limit is now $20.[/s] Get a dollar card from any of the banks and fund it with dollars from the black market or get someone you know, a friend or family member who has dollar card or lives abroad to effect the payment for you.

Not all banks have that $20 limit. be sure of your info before posting

What i would advise is to get into Canada and take the CHRP course and exam. CIPM outside of Nigeria in my opinion is not really useful [s]unless you have relevant work experience.[/s]

Firstly got request for re-medical , then two days later, got an ADR for PCC, Schedule A and payment of RPRF.
My issue is regarding the Schedule A? Why will the VO be asking for it when you have filled it initially during eAPr?
What could the VO be possibly thinking and why do VOs generally request for Schedule A during the final stage of one's application?
I still have the screenshot of what I filled in during the application though, but just curious why the VO might request for it.

Alot may have changed since you submitted eg change of address, work, school, children, marriage, divorce, death...etc just refill, update where necessary and submit again. no cause for alarm

If validity will be less than 6months by the the it gets to ircc then i suggest you send the new one along witht the old one and also update new passport via webform

As much as I'm trying to be patient and wait for this golden mail, I'm a bit worried. My AOR is Nov 2020 and there has been no update/change on my acct since I passed my Meds. & Biometrics. Everything is still being processed and I haven't received any ADR. I've called several times but always get the automated response and I've sent several webforms also but received just the generic mails.
Please guys, is there something I should do or should I just keep waiting??

Just order gcms notes and see what's going on.

Unless you are adding spouse, baby or submitting extra documents i don't see how webform delays application.
