I don't know why anybody would think calling multiple times and texting would change anything. People need to grow up and understand that this is not Nigeria where we pressure others to do their job.

Considering they are taking more time than necessary to do the needful i believe they need prompting. Besides people have been waiting 2yrs+, some form of reasonable communication is expected. Hopefully you never find yourself in a situation where you are waiting for something and stuck in limbo for such a long time. Maybe then you can applaud them for doing their job and decide not to call for updates.

Just relax and enjoy the ride, dec 2020 AOR here. nothing you can do except wait because AVO answers to no one. You will call, text, cry but they will do what they want to do when they want to do.

I just discovered my file has been moved to Accra Visa Office from CIO Sydney through a response from Webform I raised about two weeks ago.

I don't know if I should be crying or laughing because of AVO's reputation. I have been on Twitter reading the negative comments about them.

Anyone here with an update on AVO?

Why are they not processing application?

When are they likely to start treating their backlog?

I'm April 2021 AOR.

The date it was done is all that really matters. however reupload your e-medicals here https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application under Add a document to your application.

No need for posting. the soft copy is all you need and it can be downloaded from your WES Account which you'll upload when submitting post ITA.

Just keep emailing or get a contact person there that you can call to ask about any openings that come up, you might get something close to your deadline. however i’ll advice requesting for extension with proof inform of the email response for the clinic as a backup once its like 2weeks to the deadline

Please I want to make clarification on WES evaluation result.

My sister just got her WES evaluation result. WES however indicated that the name on one or more documents are different from the names on the B.Sc. certificate. The reason is that she got married after the B.Sc. and used the new name for WES.

Is there anything to fear about or must she do another WES with her maiden name?

No need to redo WeS again. She has marriage certificate as proof of name change so a simple LOE and/or One and same person affidavit will suffice.

You can ask at any point post AOR. However my vo changed from cio sydney to accra after about 2ish months of submission per my gcms notes so keep that in mind.

Not possible, most Naira cards have a monthly limit of $100. use a dollar card or flutterwave barter or get someone to pay in CAD

yes...The hospital uploads from their end but if you're worried about the deadline date been close to your medicals date, just upload. It doesn't add or remove anything from you.

Not an issue. Just upload the slip you're given at the end of medicals

Send an email to both qlife and IOM with your passport and remed request, you will get a date possibly towards the end of your remed deadline which is fine.

this is not related to omicron. Canadian citizens and pr have to fly from one of those countries to another country to do pcr test before they can fly into Canada. They do not trust the testing done in those countries. Nigerians in about 4 provinces tested positive to the yeye omicron.

1. Send the balance to the PA account. In this case, do I need to issue her another gift deed? And statement showing the when the funds entered.

2. Leave the funds in accompanying spouse's account. Get bank reference letter, bank statement and letter of consent to the PA?

I'm still in the pool awaiting ITA but I would like to know from those that have done medicals, how much Qlife Lagos charges per adult and for a child below 5 years old. Pls I've already checked on part 5 of this thread and I saw 28k for an adult and 20k for a child below 5 years but that was a few years ago and I'm almost certain that the fees have changed. Thanks

yes you are...as long as it's within the deadline

it doesn't really work that way. what might happen is when you get PPR, you'll be asked to send to the nearest VO for copr issuance.

I have a pending PR application. VO is Accra but I've moved to the UK now and sent a webform and email to update my contact info but no response since September.
By the time they eventually change my contact information, will my file be moved to another VO? Perhaps London VO
