You will get biometrics request unless you've done for Canada in the last few years i think. that one would still be applicable to this PR application.

Medicals have been done and passed since March 17th and we have heard nothing from them since then.

Usually when you apply for a new Nigerian passport, the old one is cancelled without prejudice and automatically invalid regardless of the validity on it. Let her check the middle of her passport and see they should have stamped cancelled without prejudice, so I’m not sure she can still use it.

She has applied but it hasn’t been issued yet. Capture is pending.

I am waiting for NASU to call off its strick to start my WES. From what I read on wes site, no such thing as WAEC (for B.Sc evaluatton) again but I want to confirm before I proceed. I want to evaluate my B.Sc and PGD.

No need for waec, send both pgd and bsc to wes for 2 or more certificates evaluation

Please i just received the attached email and want to confirm if this is PPR.

I particular about step 1 cos i have sent webforms to indicate my newborn and my profile has been updated to include my baby. i also proactively sent all the documents for my baby when my ADR for schedule A, PCC and POF were requested. The status for additional documents currently reads "not applicable". My question is, should i ignore the step 1 and submit all passports?

Also, i live in lagos, which VO would be advisable to send my passports to?

Lastly, there is also a request to take passport photographs at a commercial studio. Any recommendations?

Quick one guys…Asking for a friend…

Her international passport is still valid till January 2023, however she got married sometime last year and has done name change so she applied for a new passport very recently(expedited/fast tracked). The issue is she just got PPR today so she wants confirmation on whether she can send the old one for CoPR and whenever the new one comes, she’ll attach both and travel without issues or should she wait for the new one and send to Accra.

In the actual sense, I did have my remed before deadline. But the doctor reached out to me stating that IRCC requests for additional information. And to provider that, I'll need to book another appointment. Earliest appointment date possible is now end of April - almost 1 month after deadline.

They should be able to squeeze you in based on the peculiarity of your situation. Pressure them with calls and emails, if possible go there sef.

You can upload via webform here https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application but also don't panic as you've done it before the 30 day deadline.

Did medicals at IOM on Monday, it was sent to the embassy by Friday but it hasn’t been updated on my application and my 30 day deadline passes today. Do I need to fill out a web form?

Spoke to them today and they said it’s been sent. Also the medicals section on my application changed back to “we have requested a medical examination” . You can check with them if they’ve submitted yours too

There had been some significant delays in retaking my medicals. Please can anyone help with info on how to know where/who is my IRCC officer? How can this office/person be contacted too.
I did use a Webform last week to announce this delay, but not sure if that is sufficient.

Best bet is to call to get ircc but so long as you do it before the 30days is up, no need to panic. Just send your emedical sheet via webform

To get an appointment, send your ircc request to both qlife and iom requesting for a closer date

Please my sister’s Medicals expired while her PR application was still being processed. She proceeded to do her upfront Medicals and submitted via webform. Couple of weeks later, IRCC sends her a mail to provide some additional documents and re-doing her Medicals is part of it.

Since she already did the Medicals, she just re-attached it and submitted. IRCC is yet to update her profile with the new Medicals.

Please what can we do to ensure that they receive and acknowledge it?

Since they sent request for medicals, Go to the hospital you did your upfront, show them the letter from ircc and ask them to resend again. Also resend webform stating you've done medicals and attach the emedicals form. If you have your VO's email address, send it there as well with explanation then relax.

Interesting thing is they just sent form IMM1017 for medicals.

if your VO is based outside Canada, they will not be able to provide any information to you. If it's within Canada, they will provide details. With Fongo, patience should be your watchword. I've had the call hang up once the agent picks up. This happened multiple times before i got through on a random day.

This happened to me. I got married march and added spouse in June 2021 and my own medicals changed from passed to processing as well. His was also never acknowledged till date despite numerous webforms and resending the e-medical sheet. Since mine (PA) has since expired in November, we decided to redo our medicals together so it'll get uploaded at once.. My opinion is that somehow nobody bothered to actually pass the medicals when spouse was added and dumped the file somewhere. Your VO is probably Accra as well.

My advise, book upfront medicals and redo together. Based on current trends, applications with valid medicals of at least 6months and above are getting picked up.

Sidenote: Did you guys order gcms notes at any point...You can email me lets compare situations if you like

So my husband got (FSW) AOR January 2021.. his medicals showed passed in February..we got married in March 2021, he added me to his application same March. We submitted everything required. And his medicals moved from passed to we are reviewing your medicals.. And the application has been on hold since then we have sent websform, mail.. No response. Nothing has moved or changed for over a year now. Even my medicals is over year. Nothing has been heard. My medicals was not acknowledged. No ghost update nothing.. Pls what means can we use again. It’s just tiring for over a year now

They probably do this to make us think twice before we submit, to go over the responses again and again.

Italics: If your friend chose sister in law but MPNP has cousin on their records whether because your friend made an honest drop down selection error or MPNP made an admin error then best bet is to write them to say so (which is what Dimples suggested in the first place: a good LOE), there really is no other fix. She could include the required documents for proving her sister in law is a close relative and connection to the province.

As an aside, don't take the reference to misrepresentation personally....with this immigration waka one must be very careful.....see what Manitoba and IRCC define it as. I'm not sure it matters whether it was to procure an advantage, so long as it is an untruth, it is considered misrepresentation....even if you will be in a worse-of situation by misrepresentating.

I had done some research, and noticed sister inlaw is considered ans close relative for MPNP purpose.

Familial relationships

To be considered a close relative, a Manitoba Supporter must be related to the applicant (or the applicant’s spouse) in one of the following ways:

sister or brother
niece or nephew (ex: child of your sister or brother)
aunt or uncle (ex: brother or sister of your mother or father)
first cousin (ex: child of your aunt or uncle)
mother or father
grandmother or grandfather

misrepresentation, when you give information which isnt correct to gain undue chances. In her case, I am not totally sure, but will have to check more. In anycase she is still quatify using sister, even if there was honest mistake where for some reason drop down menu says cousin.

Omoooo!!! I've come across at least 3 different web forms now (including the link you attached). I'm not even sure which to use to update my records anymore since I left Nigeria.

In the past. I only for a mail response from Lagos Immigration asking me to mail Accra immigration as PR matters aren't handled in Lagos. Sent that mail long ago and no response.

Please has anyone observed the time between remedical and when it is uploaded on your profile? I you the emedical slip which I can use for proof but don't seem to have any way to upload it.

The panel physician says it'll take about 14 working days for them to upload it, not very comfortable with this because of the 30 day window provided by IRCC, any ideas please?
