PoliticsRe: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by dinggle: 6:31am On Aug 23, 2009
Lagos state govt. did a good Job, Most especially now that boko haram group said they will start bombing the west/south. I also expect lagos state govt to go after all foreigners from Neighboring countries, they are a risk to our existence and a congestion to Lagos. We dont need them and they should go back, besides they are not suppose to take up employment in Nigeria if they cant set up their own private business.
BusinessRe: Stocks To Buy, When To Buy And Why To Buy? by dinggle: 6:08am On Aug 23, 2009
@Tosinadesagba
Dividend has an expiration date within which you are suppose to deposit it into ur account, that doesnt mean the dividend its self expires completely. If the date of claim is expired take it to the registrar's office and have them update it and then you can pay it into you account. Usually u need a current account for the claim unless they've changed the system!

@Allsolutio
What investment formular did you use in arriving at your conclusionhuh, during the financial crises everyone thought since the market fell to the bottom it was the best time to buy shares, now we are just know that the stock market its self has been a scam. The banks have been runing on bogus claim and false impression to lure investors. If you remember banks were calling on the FG to tow America's path and bail them out. The current prices of those bank shares might still be over inflated prices. We shall know their true value after the bank tsunami. I would say investors hold on to your money for now.

* Observe foreign investment flow into Nigeria!

CrimeRe: Nigerian Trafficker Detained For Recruiting S’porean Women As Drug Couriers by dinggle(op): 10:42pm On Aug 21, 2009
This is the simple reason why Singapore imposed visa on Nigeria Passport holders. Back in the late 90s when i frequently visited Singapore, it was the first country where i was accorded full respect and welcomed on arrival as a human , black man, an African and above all a Nigerian. Things have changed now. I think i might even know the guy in question tho!, not 100% certain. I'm sure he has a singaporean stay and know too well the laws, death penalty for traffickers, funny enough working in Singapore pays excellently well if u have a residential status. And Just like America was before the bubble bursted getting a job in Singapore is like looking for water. Why then would any one choose death over life? what a waste!!!
CrimeNigerian Trafficker Detained For Recruiting S’porean Women As Drug Couriers by dinggle(op): 10:28pm On Aug 21, 2009
SINGAPORE: A Nigerian man who is a member of an international West African drug syndicate has been detained under the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act for recruiting Singaporean women as drug couriers.

A statement from the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said Thursday that 31—year—old Okemawalan Ugo Buchi, who is also known as "Malik", "Michael" and "Ugo", was arrested on July 1 together with his accomplice, a Singaporean woman.

His accomplice was also detained for her involvement in drug trafficking activities with the syndicate.

Investigations showed that Okemawalan would court Singaporean women at nightspots at Clarke Quay and coffeeshops in Bencoolen area.

CNB said he would live off his girlfriends, and then offer them high—paying jobs to deliver bags of clothing samples which actually contain drugs to China and Europe.

The girlfriends would be paid between US$500 and US$1500 for each trip, depending on the destination.

The Singaporean women would start out with drug runs to nearby countries, and move on to further places in Europe and Latin America.

CNB said that between December 2008 and March 2009, Okemawalan had organised at least 10 drug runs using his girlfriends as drug couriers.

According to CNB, Okemawalan was an organiser of the drug syndicate, which has other West African members based in countries such as China, Nigeria, Spain, Greece, Guyana, Puerto Rico and Brazil.
TravelRe: Visa Wahala: He Duped Him Of Over 500k by dinggle: 7:03pm On Aug 21, 2009
@OMO IBO
Visa scam is the number one scam a Nigerian can be vunerable to, it is easier to scam a Nigerian with visa than any other scam, Just go to any embassy in Nigeria. They rush foreign embassies as if there is war in Nigeria and you see them panting at the gate, and saying their last prayers before they go in for the interview. Some people even put juju in their pocket while other rub juju powder grin so when the visa officer sees the person the officer will be happy. These things dont work but for Nigerians to go that low tells you how bad the situation is at home.

Go to Ghana Motor Park in Lagos u will mistake the season for xmas and also mistake the location for the east!!! It is that bad. The federal govt need to check themselves and find out why Nigerians feel there isnt any hope left for them.

TravelRe: Visa Wahala: He Duped Him Of Over 500k by dinggle: 1:25pm On Aug 21, 2009
@Snokky, i tot it happened to ur best friend, sounds like that ur best friend is YOU.
Any way sorry to hear that. First go and get another passport at abuja, because if u pay N2,000k to that thief he will still demand more money. When you are done, proceed to report to EFCC and the police the guy can be caught he is not invincible especially since he still uses those phones, the police usually work with the bank and communication firm to pin-point his phone location by using their service antenna. So all isn't lost. That guy was cold, for him to tell u, "you are a mugu" after stealing so much from you, for me thats a "double kill".

A lesson for all, if you meet someone who tells you he can fix a visa for you to USA, Europe, Canada, Asia Aussy ask yourself why he hasn't gone if he really can??, and then throw that question to the guy, ask him how long he has been fixing visa for people? if he has gone before? if he did why he come back ? if not why couldnt he do it for him selfhuh some 419ers will give some bullshit story that their bro or sis are there, so they dont need to be there or they are doing fine in Nigeria, dont buy that! if you dont get a satisfactory answer hit the highway.

Above all, always apply the common sense rule!!! that's the best way to detect a 419er. 419ers apply complicated senses to tell all their lies and over look the common senses, because they think as a mugu, that person is completely out of common sense.

MUGU = "NO COMMON SENSE"

Each time u paid into the guy's account, i m sure he was alway chating with himself like " i never go America na you wan go" or "if i fit do am i go leave my own come do your own"
Try to find as much information from the guy and google it. Like when he told u about the governor aid issue, ask him which particular governor (governor's name) and the month they are making the trip and what state they are visiting in the USA, purpose of the trip, then google it, google will pull out the information from the governor's pc if it exist with their hotel details!!! if it has been used to scam someone else google will pull it out and then when u read it, u will recognise that pattern he is using as same as the one on google.

Second common sense rule was when he said u dont need a finger print, All advance countries require proper documentation of any alien. The U.S.A dont play with finger print even if you are dieing your finger print must be taken no amount of protocol can exclude you as long as you require the visa.

3rd common sense rule always share informations with friends and family so that you can be advised, you never know they must have gone through a similar experience that they could have saved you. The element of suprise is what 419ers count on, they knew you would wanna suprise ur friends and family and for that reason you kept quiet.

4th common sense rule - Before you proceed to paying out a kobo inform the guy that for your security you need to take a full picture of him front facial view and side facial view and also you need all his finger prints, height and weight measurement tell him that the purpose is so that if it ends up been a scam you will take it to the police and put it on the newspaper. If the guy is a fake he will tell you ok and give you a date for the pics to be taken but you will never see him again. Or he might get angry and say "all this trouble for me to help you get USA visa, if you dont want the visa leave it" well tell him he aint helping you because you are paying through ur nose. Some guys will say you dont have to pay anything until the visa is out, dont buy it, as long as you are giving out your passport have their pics taken at a photo shop or with a photo camera dont use ur cell phone because you want a clear pic that you can print out when the time comes. This rule does not only apply to visa issue, it applies to any time of business that requires financial exchange, business, contract, sale of a specific item u think might be stolen etc

BusinessRe: How Much Do I Need To Start A Bread Bakery Business by dinggle: 2:29pm On Aug 15, 2009
Bakery is a very good business, we had one when i was growing up as a boy that was in the early 80s.
Look for the association of Nigerian bakers nearest to where u are u might findout better information.
You wanna make sure ur oven runs on coal because electricity will bankrupt you. Ensure that u personally supervise the day to day activity. Install a smoke detector at all location of your bakery, cos in our case all our night shift workers once fell asleep making about 5 flour bags of baked bread burn to ashes we were lucky the building didnt burn down. So dont over look little mistakes from workers other wise it will come back to hunt u.
When employing workers ensure that u employ the best, if there are graduates applying for the job, pls take the graduates before SSCE holders, cos they have the tendency to be more careful due to the experience from college.
Make sure ur bread conforms with Nafdac requirement the Nigerian bakers association will give u the details.

Good thinking, Good luck!!!
BusinessRe: Extortion By Intercontinental Bank PLC by dinggle: 2:09pm On Aug 15, 2009
hopefully this will be an eye opener to everyone who own an account in Nigeria. If ur bank starts messing up and charging illegal fees know the bank is on the brink of collapse and doing everything possible to survive even stealing secretly from their customers account. At that point pay close attention to your deposits and withdraws. And dont waste time before you switch bank! someone was talking about proximity and convience wait till u loose ur money when the bank goes under then, u will know that there is nothing like convience in Nigerian banking. Thank GOD for Mallam Sanusi! Soludo should be indicted for trying to cover failed banks with tax payers money. Any wonder why dollar price was skyrocketing these were the same bank round tripping dollars and speculating with it in the black market. See how the greed of a few can make everyone bankrupt.

Let them set up fund where individuals with charitable minds can donate money for them to get a lawyer plus their flight ticket!!!.

@emyah Why I agree with your idea of dismantling Nigeria I disagree with the reasons, even as a father if u have a child that you brought up rightly and the child decides to abscorn what do u do after investing so much on that child's education and up bringinghuh? do u keep looking for that child with the resources that isn't available or the you concentrate on your other kids and leave that child to his/her faithhuh thats the position i believe the govt is facing. There is no reason for a girl to turn into prostitution no matter how hard life is, whatever happened to farming and hawking?? whatever happened to raising a family and training your kids to attain heights you couldnt dream of as a growing man/womanhuh, now everyone is like i cant fail?? well technically they already failed by travelling without proper documentation or preparation.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Protest Lybia’s Plan To Execute 220 Nigerians by dinggle: 1:10am On Aug 13, 2009
who sent all those die hard husslers to Libyahuh They knew what they were bargaining for many of those guys were there during the last slaughter in Libya and yet never learnt. The Nigerian population is too much, so if some people choose to go commit suicide outside the country, good luck to them. As we are talking go to Kano some people are about leaving for the same Libya.
Pls lets focus of saving visibility and not invisibility. The Govt. should face those at home and try to solve home problems like electricity. Nigeria is not America. And even if govt must come-in only those who left with proper documentation including visas should be sent flight tickets those who thought they were commando should be given road ticket to come back home commando style.

BusinessRe: Extortion By Intercontinental Bank PLC by dinggle: 8:02pm On Aug 08, 2009
You guys are missing the whole issue.
Aren't banks insured in the first place?? if they are, why isn't the insurance paying those who were defrauded via ATMhuh, thats the question everyone should be asking which no one is. Yeah, we all know there will be bogus claims and all that, arent banks suppose to have an investigative unit to run an investigation and trace all transaction made before and after the fraud so as to ascertain the credibility of each claim?? Before you all jump to the so-called secured pin how are you sure it is secured?? does it come with a guarrantee of refund if compromised by fraudsters?? thats the question the banks should answer before demanding N500 or N1000 to switch.  Remember they jinggled the ATM card when it first arrived and told everyone it was save!
No card is secured, i remember an elementary joke in sch, the white man who created the pencil also created the eraser. Destroy your card, and inform your bank that ur card is missing so they can disable it and start withdrawing money from the counter with paper cheque or witdraw slip. We all know how badly individuals have been burnt. Your card can't be hidden because even if you dig a hole and burry your card, it can still be compromised by bank insiders and they will come up wit a bogus story that you used it online, since when did foreign marketers start accepting Nigerian cards?, Nigeria ,Russia, and Lebanon where three of the most blacklisted countries whose online payment have for long been a no go area. Even when using a foreign legally obtained card from these countries it is still difficult to be granted successful online payment transaction.

I did same to my bank, now i sleep with confidence. I need no decitful card thats capable of making my 10yrs savings disappear in 10mins. Not even when the govt don't know if i'm a citizen or not or when my rights isn't included in the Nigerian constitution.
You guys shouldn't come here and cry when you get burnt do the right thing while u can.
BusinessRe: Extortion By Intercontinental Bank PLC by dinggle: 10:25pm On Aug 07, 2009
This is fraud. This means they are all admitting giving out ATM card when they knew it wasnt secured in the first place. If we have any govt these banks should all be investigated and those who have lost money should be paid back.

I'd say the mother of all which is electricity, if we can get 24hrs uninterrupted power supply Nigeria will automatically take shape. Individuals will be able to help themselves out with small business. I personally have loads of business ideas, but they are all connected to electricity which is making me put my plans on transfer to the future when electricity will be stable.
