9ja!,we are funny. When okocha went to hull city, he cud not play regularly because his body cud nt carry him agn. Abt Campo getin a new deal,u can not compare the age of the whites wit the blacks, Here is a little example dat wil bafle u, Mutiu Adepoju and Figo played at the same youth tournament. Four years after Mutiu retired, Figo won the world best footballer. So, at age 30 okocha cud nt play agn because of the age deduction, I think shittu shud sign for FUFU UNITED in Nigeria
oh boy!!##

But why are people talking as if the guy is the biggest dude in the league, he is not fat just huge, Titus Bramble, Sol Campbell is still playing and that mensah dude so what's the fuss he'll surprise you guys very soon
Business › Re: Fed Govt To Remove Fuel Subsidy By New Year —aganga by DisGuy: 1:36am On Sep 05, 2010
1. The price of fuel will shoot up dramatically
2. All of us will suffer for a few years while the private sector rushes to build new refineries and take advantage of the high prices.
3. Everything will eventually settle down and Nigeria will become a saner, less corrupt and less wasteful place.
why do people actually believe that price and competition theory works in nigeria? all of us will suffer for a few years? what they sell the products for 230N then after 6years they compete against each other reducing the price to what N200 brilliant isnt it?

Tell me where this price and competition theory has worked in Nigeria outside of agriculture? Banks loans, Telecoms, cement, mortgage, ?? ??

and i like the way people put it- in a few years like every thing else with stand still?
Well i dont blame some of you you are busy reading economic theories in Philadelphia thinking the 80% poverty stats is just on paper!!

Removing subsidy is a brilliant idea but bad timing, if they want to do anything they should remove the bureaucracy involved with importation, remove/reduce the so called wastage in the importation wastage first then ensure the refineries are built!

Al those certificates they sold in the past few years and nothing useless MOU up and down the place with nothing concrete to show for it!
Politics › Re: Nigerian Economy 'to Grow By 10%' by DisGuy: 10:00pm On Sep 04, 2010
Beaf:
Our economy can actually grow by much more if we really put ourselves to it. There is so much untapped talent in the country and vast resources to back that talent up. All we need do is harness these things.
Lets not forget that there are more than ten cities in this world that make more money than the whole of Nigeria.

These are some untapped areas that could yield mega bucks;
1. Solar power
2. Traditional medicine
3. Manufacturing
4. Tourism
5. Information Technology
6. Oil refining and export of refined products
ehn ehn i talk am! Beaf has been drinking unrefined palm wine, what mega bucks can we get from Alomo Bitters?

that's not a press conference, i mean a proper sitting arrangement with a proper table and sitting area with 2-3 players answering questions from the press not
paddy paddy arrangement of talking to one reporter asking how are you doing

Bros how come nigeria never organise press conference before matches, they just show them warming up, no interviews nothing just the NFf topshot are seen with their big bellies grinning like ashawo

Why are the local players ignored during training the media keep shouting we need more local players but when they get to camp the first person they want to interview is mikel, yobo etc etc Is it that the local players are not trained on how to handle the media?

orangemen:
i lost my respect for bolton when they treated okocha like a common man after all his efforts in raising that useless club.
it was first, the captain band and later uncermonious release of a club legend.
it is a shame the way some of these clubs behave when it comes to black players.
ahhh nigerians

deor03:
Until Nigerians start supporting the Eyimbas and Heartlands etc ; you'll be in for more shock.

Please expect more. Okocha today even 2 years into retirement is of more value that Owen ! ; but EPL clubs will still line up to sign Owen because he is one of theirs
until Eyimbas and Heartland start paying their players proper wages

Owen will sell more shirts than okocha ten times over! any players around the age of 30 that cant keep up with training is in for the chops
in fact how many Nigerian players play at top level way past 30
Yea, that was what I thought too, but when I went to the passport office the responsible was like "Your parents are Ghanaian so you have to follow the dual citizenship process" I asked her to explain the process but she refused me any info from then on.

I really need a lawyer, or someone with knowledge on this to help me out
how sad, very incompetent people!!

4. Nigerians tend to stand close to each other while speaking. If you are uncomfortable conversing at this distance, try to refrain from backing up.
so why do we still talk like we have loudspeakers in our mouth??

Travel › Re: ‎safety Tips On How To Identify Fake Policemen At A Glance. (for Nigerians) by DisGuy(mod): 11:44pm On Sep 01, 2010
Please, at night be vigilant, always roll-up your windows in traffic, central lock your doors, be double sure they are true policemen, if
they are not, be strong and speed off. Never get frightened.
if this is coming from the nigerian police force they are even more incompetent than I thought!!!

The number of Nigerians killed for speeding off by the police must be at least 5 a day!!!

They should just stop making road block and start patrolling that way you can see their registration number from official police cars, some of them have dirty uniforms and tattered clothes you cant see their badge!

Horus:
One of my muslim friend traveled throughout the Middle East and North Africa; he shared with me with sadness how dark skinned Africans were treated negative in Mecca , Saudi Arabia during Hajj. But now the same dark skined African is ready to be a suicide bomber for the religion of his own Arab opressor. Islam has become more Arabism than Islam, but most Africans Muslims want to overlook the Arab racism in Islam. In Islam you will always find the dark skinned Africans people subservient to the Arab light skinned ruling class.
stop mixing people culture with religion i know its hard but why does every crime committed by someone from the middle east or arab nation immediately link with the religion, a racist is a racist he is not racist because of teh religion but because he is just racist same goes with a rapist, thief fraudster etc

are the dark skinned hausas subservient to the light skinned fulanis?

1. Agreeing with people is considered to be a sign of respect. Nigerians generally say "yes" to a request because their respect for you does not allow them to say "no."
this is a solution to all those fights on Nairaland, everyone should just agree and say yes sir yes ma! simples!
