B4 U guys start praising him, have you guys noticed the Nigeria govt gave previlages to one person to import unbagged cement to Nigeria? and also the importation of things like suger and salt to just a few?ie our very Dangote?
the privileges were connected to the quantity his company produced in Nigeria, if you produce/manufacture a higher amount in Nigeria you get a higher percentage to import- its according to their past record and capacity within the country. Others screaming have since been given their license but rarely meet up with the demand while some even sold their allocation for cold cash!

It's certainly easy to run a company in Nigeria, its either you treat the employers any how and the consumers as you like, knowing full well Nigerians wont complain and if they do; they will be shouted down by others who see you as some sort of mini-god
I just like this Dangote guy. He is typical example of why government should leave business to business people.

You hardly hear of divisions along ethnic lines when it comes to business. The division is all about business interests which is healthy for a divided country of ours. Mr. Dangote hires people from all parts of Nigeria and even abroad as long as you are capable. Government can not do this, everywhere has be balanced or else there will be trouble.

Athough, when designing the country along business lines, care must be taken in maintaining a fine balance between the geopolitical zones.
Can you explain this?

Obviously at this stage I had no choice but to settle into the flight. I was then given a menu and with a wine list. I was first served cold chicken pepper soup. The chicken was diced and you could see the ingredients settled at the bottom of the plate with clear water on top. I asked for it to be warmed and your kind and efficient hostess attempted to do that. For my main meal I asked for eba with okra. I swear to God who made me when the eba arrived I almost asked the captain to stop let me come down. I was served two pieces of eba both the size of a bazooka chewing gum (for those of who don’t know bazooka chewing gum-the eba could not have been more than the size of a Wrigley’s airwaves chewing gum),the meat was about the size of my thumb,2 pieces. And once again it was cold. I gave up at this stage and just asked to be given champagne. I was given a long list and when I ordered the reply was-“we don’t have that one”. You didn’t have any of the brands I chose. You had only one brand and I had to stick to it. Why has a list when you know you have no intention of serving what is on it?
crazy crazy cheesy

so for now we are not safe, they will only start work in 2011

"Child labour is not a problem of the elite. It is the problem of the people who are downtrodden and below the poverty line.

"They source for the human cargo in villages as a result of material wealth. Poverty is not usually the reason why people go into trafficking but greed.

"People who use children as labourers do not have the fear of God and they also lack respect for humanity.

"Poverty is a relative term. A poor man in Nigeria is a big man elsewhere. If you are satisfied with the basic things of life, there is no need using children as labourers," Gbuuga said.
the elite use child labour more in nigeria than anywhere else!! most of the houses in abuja, lagos have kids/teens as helpers!

How are you today? How is the Queen Mother? How is Prince Phillip? How is Prince Charles? How is Prince William? And how is Prince Harry? O, how is Princess Anne, the one you sent to represent you at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos on October 1, 1960? How did you find Nigeria on your maiden visit in the first week of December, 2003? What gift do you have in mind for the country you once colonized, as it marks its Golden Jubilee? These questions popped up in my mind in that particular order on February 6, 2010, when I read in the internet rather belatedly that you were marking your anniversary in Sandrigham. It was remiss of me not to have put my thoughts on paper at the time and date in question, on account of the poor weather. As the saying goes, however, better late than never. I have never been at home with the cold, and I will tell you why. I am a child of the sun, that’s why. At any rate, I have no doubt that your family is in good health and excellent spirits.

Still dont get what the fuss is with this Robinho guy, he's overrated full stop! he can play with other players and he losses the ball too much, waste of space tbh
he just has a fancy name

Some semi-talented players in the premiership will be banging in goals weekly if they played in spain, the defenders give them too much space
and the referees blow the whistle for everything!!

Give it to another manager/driver then take it off him quickly after 3months or when there's any hint of excuse; service the vehicle from your pocket then give it to another manager/driver keep taking it away from them after 3months or before any trouble start grin
Business › Re: Transportation Biz In Lagos -- Are there anymore honest drivers? by DisGuy: 11:57pm On Sep 06, 2010
OP

I hear about this problems and complaints too whenever someone comes up with an idea like this BUT i keep asking them why is it that there are still millions into the transport business if they are not making money?

Best bet i guess is to look for a driver that has been recommended by another person in the business but please expect these complaints as they are unavoidable especially in Lagos in the long term you will make money but its hard work

You can also try less stressful states outside Lagos or interstate

or give it to someone on hire purchase and get a lawyer/police to be your broker wink
you let him decide how much he can deliver weekly or monthly with no excuse, make sure you know his wife/children mother and father

You are just wasting your time, you better be more creative,of what use is your living in a developed world if you dont have ideas apart from this outdated business with stories on a daily basis. You may even go mad if they consult metal pysicians ,so that you can forget the buses.Unless you use another method ,which is knowing the overall chairman at the park. That his the person that will now hand over the buses to them, and you will paty commission or he will benefit from one of the buses,by that way you will get your money. But if you lack ideas,i can give you sha,but not in the open place, because sucessful businesses in nigeria are secretive and not for the public,so many people dont know what to do,so they do what everybody is doing.
you want to take advice from this babalawo guy lol successful business are secretive? are you an occultist ?
