Still on good music, let me quickly inject this:

Bez Idakula - Here We Go.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d8kO-GoX8M?si=7TyOCq3y_4A03GLJ

Notice it has only 21,000 streams? Yet no song this year by those with millions of streams comes close to it in terms of quality and replay value.

Sad that this man isn't headlining stadium music concerts in this country. Thank God Tems made it out before they ruined my girl.
Or this Jazz classic: Bez Idakula - Say.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bl7lhx4JJI?si=LkjzKN8k0o3MPnwo

If your work is mostly sedentary where you sit for hours hitting away at the keyboard and staring at large bright screens, imagine this on repeat on your playlist. Then you throw in a medley of Tem's songs.

Finally saw our boy Joe Thomas in concert today. Was a joint concert with Dru Hill, Toni Braxton and Boyz 2 Men. Probably the best I've ever been to
Nice! Coincidentally, it was the next on my YouTube shuffle after watching the Craig David concert.

Joe and Toni Braxton in one night should be illegal. That's what Heavenly music should feel like.

Look at how he gleefully enjoys this type of dysfunctional politics we have. For him, it's all about our lives being a game.
In all the permutations, he makes it clear, the people themselves, the masses don't matter at all. That's really a shame.
Wasn't it Ibime who stated, "You tell it how it should, I tell it how it is"? Ironically, it was to you.

Politics isn't idealistic. World over, politicians have always orchestrated dissent and chaos in the opposition ranks.

The Dems are doing it to the Republicans with Majorie Green and other RINOs; the Repubs are doing it to the Dems too.

He's stating Tinubu is weakening the Opposition from the inside. Technically, it isn't illegal except a law is being broken. There's no law against having allies on the other side.

Can you swear at this point Gov. Otti isn't causing disaffection amongst Abia APC at this moment? Haven't you seen Abia APC members turn on each other on Facebook?

The law isn't always moral. What isn't illegal might hurt your feelings. Always argue from a logical standpoint. Keep emotionality out of arguments.

I judge women harshly by how they present themselves. I have ALWAYS avoided women who are always in the thick of controversies only and involved in gender wars. Once I see "gender advocate" nonsense, I flee.

I have no empathy for men entangled with such women. They walked right into it.

I like my women cultured, feminine, composed and private.

He knows deploying troops without senate approval is an impeachable offence, that's why he's quickly write to them ASAP.

If the Senate were not a rubber stamp one, they would query him over the deployment of ground and air forces on Sunday prior to seeking senate approval. But as things are currently, he has nothing to worry about since they even sing "On Your mandate we shall stand" in the senate house. They definitely won't raise much of an eyebrow considering almost everyone either belongs to his party or are on their way to the party.
If we had a proper opposition instead of everyone waiting for Obi to say what they are too scared to say out loud, Atiku would have started a court case on Monday making a case for impeachment.

At least it would have forced a hearing and Bayo Onanuga would have unwittingly admitted to it as evidence in his tweet while trying to counter.

Somehow I miss the Saraki-led Senate.

So far they requested it, it is a valid intervention

So Nigeria can be big brother to someone in this world?
The Syrian Militia asked for help from the U.S. to fight the Syrian Government which the former accused of persecution of its people.

It was justified by certain quarters and that was the pretext to invade Syria.

Is this begining to ring a bell?

Nigerian organisations (including our current INEC Chairman) have been writing the U.S., seeking intervention to save Nigerian Christians being massacred while the Nigerian state looks on or persecute those who try to defend themselves.

By your own admission and the antecedental example I stated in Syria, Trump is justified to breach our sovereignty and invade us, right, Ibime?

Good. That's what we should have done as allied/regional forces - not Nigeria going to bomb. Or we could have just bombed as first on the scene then claim it was ECOMOG.

The U.S. does same claiming NATO forces as a buffer.
You know why the U.S. gets a lot of shielding when it breaches sovereignty? It has a NATO buffer.

The U.S. is the chief sponsor of NATO and UN forces so it uses them as cover.

Nigeria is the chief sponsor of ECOWAS forces - we should have used them as cover. That way you shield your citizens from being singled out for scapegoating by military dictatorships and other aggressive West African states.

You also realize all our arguments that Trump can't invade Nigeria on "saving Christians" grounds have been rendered invalid, right?

Already, all of the 4 or 5 military dictatorships in West African will increase their hostilities against Nigerians in their domains and particularly consider us threats.

Go on X; many strong APC guys are condemning the bombing.

We handled this one badly. We should never have officially admitted to invading and bombing a sovereign nation. Even the U.S. never does admit to such interference unless classified documents are leaked.

I think Rivers state used to be very clean too, what later happened to the state is what I don't know.

In 1998 when we traveled to PH for my uncle's wedding, everyone one of us that traveled down from Lagos were shocked at how clean PH city was. The roads were just too unbelievably clean.

Fast forward to present day, PH is not anywhere near what it used to be in terms of cleanliness.
Amaechi would have been the best governor Rivers State ever had, but he made two mistakes.

1. He gave out too many capital project contracts to indigenous contractors as compensation who ended up embezzling the money. The Elelenwo -Akpajo Road linking Eleme - Ikot Abasi Federal Highway and Port Harcourt - Aba Federal Highway is a prime example.

2. He lost the last 3 years of his administration fighting Patience Jonathan (and Goodluck) while funding the coalition to merge into an opposition while Akpabio and Fashola were going at top speed.

That beef affected the completion of both federal highways I mentioned. The Akwa Ibom part is good but the Rivers part is part after Ogoni.

----

But Amaechi had good intentions. He used to drive powerbikes around to inspect projects. Insisted on free education and built model schools which were well-equipped.

He was the one who use to force landlords to paint their buildings else the RVSG will paint the buildings then give them a bill.

Nigeria actually has a lot of states that people should normally be able to reside in if not for this insecurity issue, like there was a time last year I seriously considered moving to Akwa Ibom...Calabar is still quite decent, Jos is another nice city, Asaba and Delta environs isn't bad either...Kaduna is another state I've heard good things about, Enugu too, if not for the water issues.
You need to have seen Calabar under Duke. That was the period the saying "Efik edi afia enwe" (transliterated as "Efiks are Whites" ) was most popular.

It was a crime to drop litter in Calabar. It was under Akpabio too. Yes, you'll be picked by a taskforce for dropping litter even from a moving vehicle.

Cross River slacked under Imoke while Akwa Ibom picked up under Akpabio.

I have noticed the better-performing governors are those who fought their way to earn it without the backing of Godfathers.

Akpabio fought an institution to earn it so performed. Imoke was literally handed the reins and messed it up.

"Akwa Ibom Ranked the Cleanest State in Nigeria, Topping the List For the Eight Consecutive Year".

https://punchng.com/akwa-ibom-ranked-cleanest-state-in-nigeria-for-2025-report

Yes, but it is relative to other states. Funny how under Akpabio it was, you'd be surprised, twice as clean as it is today.

Under Akpabio, it was almost a crime to allow dirt or weed in drainages, or uncovered drainages in the major cities.

And two minutes after rainfall in the capital city, all drainage and rain water automatically siphoned into the underground drainage system.

Still the best governor (project execution-wise of his era) and the best the people of his state have had so far.

Sad also, that Cross River under Donald Duke use to hold this record. Now Calabar is, you know.

Akpabio the Senate President with all of his flaws and gaffes still gets a pass from his people because we haven't forgotten Akpabio the Governor. It's why he still gets defended or his people turning a blind eye to his flaws on the national stage.

I can't delete it even I wanted to. It's the best platform to really network and learn the latest industry trends without all of the superficial megalomania of LinkedIn and the toxicity and rivalry of Facebook. Plus you get opinions without the filter of biased mainstream media with an agenda.

It's also not an echo chamber and even your nested comments get seen unlike the other two platforms.

There are X groups you can join. It takes time. It took me two years from 2020 to 2022 to really clean-up my X timeline.

The Ezra controversy almost dragged me back in but I escaped.

When almost every trending woman is a misandrist on X Nigeria and every woman is posting about putting men down, soon enough you begin to second-guess the good woman you have at home who has earned the admiration you shower on her. If you find such issues, just copy the X link, read in incognito mode, note the lessons to be learnt like the ones I learnt about the whole of FemCo tumbling during Ezra's unraveling then move on. Don't interact with your account so such toxicity never turn up on your timeline.

A dysfunctional family is what GehGeh, Nick Cannon, and Andrew Tate create when they impregnate multiple women without being present for the day-to-day nurturing of those kids by multiple women.

Where they know their fathers are their fathers but their mothers bring multiple men home who sleep with them.

Where there's no firm figure of authority and the kids were raised to accept dysfunctionality as the norm.

Where studies have shown kids from dysfunctional homes are 2x - 3x more likely to end up in such dysfunctional relationships.

Where the figures perpetuate themselves and kids from dysfunctional homes have to work more times to break away from that circle and cycle.

Where a girl from a dysfunctional family setting is more likely to be abusing and finds it more difficult to pair bond with a man because that's not what she was raised in.

If financial provision is all there is then child support and gifts would have been the cure for such in the Black American community which I had earlier typified with.

Kids from such units are more likely to dô drûgs, commit (violent) crîmes, and perform poorer academically. Teenage pregnancy is higher in that demography and juvenile delinquency.

There's everything wrong with birthing kids by multiple men or women with no fealty to the men/women the kids are had with. Kids in two-parent households from infancy do better. This is proven to be so, backed up by decades of research. Exceptions do not negate the general outcomes.

Scandals have shown the feminists groveling at the feet of men, and the hardcore 'manists' actually tolerating the excesses of their women.

Years ago, a certain female had reached out when my comments on a popular blogger account gained traction. She was out-and-out and very forward with experiencing her desire. But she wasn't attractive enough and too faraway to make it worth exploring so I left her on Read. You know spam messages do not indicate if messages are read or not.

Months later, she ambushed me on the same Facebook page, terming me arrogant and all. Next, she said I was stalking her when I hit back with a scathing response. The women were already supporting her because the post I had made initially was redpilled and they hàted my guts.

What saved me was digging downing into my archives in the spam messages to prove with evidence she was indeed stalking me and was bitter I didn't give in to what she wanted.

If I had no evidence, those misandrists would have screenshotted her allegations to troll me and maybe I'd have gone viral and ridiculed.

. There’s already a problem when you’re screenshotting conversations with your own partner. It means you’re anticipating failure before the relationship even breathes. If you need receipts to feel safe, that’s your sign, you two were never meant to be together in the first place. These red flags aren’t exactly advanced calculus.

For some of us, once we start dating someone, we stop chatting with them online oh. Anything we want to say, we say it face-to-face or on a call.

If you’re with someone you constantly have to monitor, screenshot, and stay on guard with, you already know you shouldn’t be with them. But people force what shouldn’t be forced, all because they lack proper vetting instincts.
Even the most docile woman will torch you if she is scorned.

A year ago, with how Ned pampered and platformed Regina, would you have suspected she would try to ruin him like she's doing today? He gave her everything: money, power...

The smart man saved evidence to prove she wasn't a minor, kept evidence of her family being unruly but never acted on it.

You are a man. The world has already designated you guilty until proven otherwise. Regina didn't need to provide any evidence to prove guilt - it's Ned doing so to prove innocence.

You are slightly older than your lady. She's beautiful. She can cry. And she has a significant social media following and the de facto support of a horde of sexist women trying by all means to justify their victim's card.

The scorned female in this story is heavy on social media with a lot of following. Outwardly religious too. Got a lot of traction on all posts.

She tried to pull the victim card. Screenshots and other digital evidence I had saved, and quickly presenting those facts to a federal MDA were my saving grace. I got a proper apology.

I'd have been a hashtag.

Last month, I checked Instagram spam messages on my account I haven't visited all year - I saw a message from the same person trying to reconnect and admitting certain things.

You better control your narrative. At all points even when you chat, ask yourself, "If things go south, and this chat goes public, how will I be portrayed?" When you know this, even a simple, "Babe, you hurt me today" must be addressed.

A woman scorned is unpredictable.

I found out she was in her finals and seeking a high-ranking position in an inter-school Student Union. She won sweepingly. She confided in me some of her opponents would get disqualified and it played out so.

Months later whenever she visited me or during WhatsApp chats, she'd complain about a certain "Doctor" who was head of student affairs frustrating her and not allowing them have events in one of the schools while they had it easier in other schools.

I told her to confront him. She said she would; no change. I asked that she writes to the VC and a certain female Commissioner. She mentioned I was taking it too far and she knows how to deal with him. Then when he restricted her union access to dues, she revolted against him. I saw text messages. I helped her draft the letter to some bodies. Beautifully written.

The man and I became acquainted somewhat at the same event I met her without knowing I went on to have anything with her later. One day he invited me to a lounge so we could talk more about digitisation of his academic research and how he could diversify with online courses.

I told this lady and she went,"Babe, it's not far. Easy to locate. It's even close to his house" while she was doing her beauty routine so we'd retire for the night.

"Even close to his house." Then it clicked! They have a history before she met me! How else would she have known his house?

We had each other's phone passwords as she managed social media pages too for some brands so I helped her with PR-speak. I searched the man's name in her Messenger app. Checked their chats from a year before we met. They had a thing before she broke it off months before she met me! It made sense then!

Basically, he did her favours even after meeting me while making herself seem available to continuing it until she won the election. I not knowing thought she was genuinely being persecuted.

Last month, at a meeting with some elites, I reconnected with the man. He's become a professor. About 50 years old now or so. We talked a while and resumed chatting online. He still doesn't know how connected a web we both were asides the digitisation of his works; that we had a thing for the same girl. Thank goodness the coochie didn't blind me.

By everything sacred in the universe, I swear this story is true. I only did not mention exact places and dates to protect the identity of the man.
