Got it! Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS)

Official from the National Salaries, Incomes And Wages Commission (NSIWC) website updated in September 2024:
https://nsiwc.gov.ng/download/implementation-of-the-new-national-minimum-wage-in-the-federal-public-service-the-consolidated-medical-salary-structure-conmess/?wpdmdl=40919&refresh=682ba68cb35281747691148 .

The highest annual salary isn't up to #12 million for the highest brass of the medical workers higher than CMDs even. Blueray would rather "One of my friend's father" than accept the truth. smiley

Semid4lyfe, please unhid if it gets hidden by the bot.

I already posted a link to public service salary structure. You can either accept the evidence before you or live in La la Land.

Thread of 30 active persons and not one can counter with evidence to prove otherwise.

Chief Medical Directors earn less than #10 million as their official salaries. They freelance and consult on the side to augment.

Permanent Secretaries earn less than #7 million.

Tinubu earns less than #15 million.

I gave you all a reality check. A luxury is what you can't afford without a dent in your pocket, and you can't cough up that money.

oy strong thing, see plenty explanation on top ₦15m luxury car. God abeg no let me offend a diggzz on nairaland
What strong thing? Eventually confirming I am actually who I say I am?

At end of the day, none of you can afford the #15 million car. That makes it a luxury. None of you here resident in Nigeria could even pretend to earn #2 million monthly? Even Chief Medical Directors don't. So it's a luxury.

Whatever is expensive and puts a huge dent in your account is a luxury.

You can all continue being online billionaires that's why a lot of people dread meeting people they meet online in person - you can't match up to the fantasy you've painted yourself to be.

How the shush me up? Prove you earn enough monthly here in Nigeria not to make the car a luxury for you. But you can't! smiley

Me: CMDs earn less than #10 million.

You: You don't know what you are saying; you are wrong.

Me: Here's evidence to back up my claim - the public service salary structure. Provide your evidence.

You: I don't have proof but I know that it cannot be. But, but, but...Private practice.

Me: Okay. Provide evidence like I did.

You: I don't have evidence but you are wrong.

Welcome to Nairaland, gentlemen, where an agenda must go on, the contradictory or negating evidence regardless.

Two weeks ago on this same thread, when Nihilist mentioned only poorly skilled devs would take up a #250K to #350K job, I disputed. I won't blame him - he's been out of the system for long. He doesn't understand the reality.

Immediately I exemplified with certain areas and places people could verify, everyone began to realize the truth. I asked doctors here (KingTom particularly) to counter my claim. What happened next is an answer in itself.

These folks are not expatriates. They are your comrades. Tell them the truth of what's back home. They are programmed to see everything from exchange rate conversions - you live the everyday reality.

Still not one person resident in Nigeria here who can cough up the said #15 million for a car? Not one? Well then.

On to the next argument or topical issue then, my Dangotes. smiley
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 5:32pm On May 19, 2025
Blueraydick, I posted a salary structure with a link anyone can view to confirm CMDs earn within that range and you are still arguing? You are debating what the FG pays them which you can verify in a few minutes?

Show proof of what CMDs in the private sector earn.

Well, maybe you just want to argue. Show me hard evidence CMDs earn way more than the range I posted in the link. Just one. Back it up with evidence.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m):
No semantics. Can you afford the #15 million car without taking a hit in your purse?

Whatever you can't afford twice is a luxury.

How much did the taped banana art sell again? It's inflated in price and all of us here can't afford it so it's a super luxury.

Can you afford that #22 million truck you posted? No? It's a luxury.

Luxury is a synonym of expensive but do a merry-go-round to avoid the point.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 5:17pm On May 19, 2025
A CMD of one of the teaching hospitals in the cities I like to mention earned not so much. He augmented with consultancy and specialized services,; he was well in demand. But his salary today in that position would make #15 million a luxury.

You said I was wrong. I posted an official public service salary structure. Next you went on with whataboutism from 19 years ago. Prove how CMDs earn enough to afford it or up to #10 million.

Let's even forget about the other people. You are still avoiding the question: since you are edging the other guy on, how many of you here resident in Nigeria can cough up #15 million for a car.

No "Someone I know" or "One of my guys"; you! You were the ones edging him on since last night. Can you cough it up since it's not a luxury?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 5:09pm On May 19, 2025
BlueRayDick:
We have a family friend who is a CMD of his own hospital which he built from scratch.

As at 2006 he sent his first child abroad to study medicine. His second born attended Ajayi Crowther university while his third child graduated from Babcock university.

I don't how much he makes annually but it is evident he definitely didn't finance his family lifestyle and children's education with an income ceiling of N10m. This I am very sure of.

I don't even think those practicing in government hospitals earn as much as those in private practice. At least I know someone who told me sometimes in 2021 that he had to take a pay cut from the salary he earns as a doctor in private practice to joining Lagos state ministry of health.
What are we arguing about? The salary structure I posted is for today. The supposed luxuriousness of #15 million is for today in 2025.

How does the comparison to 19 years ago in 2006 relate to today?

Please stay focused. Arguments are contextual.

I hope the bot doesn't hide this.

Public service salary structure in Nigeria, 2025:
https://geniusbrain.ng/post/federal-government-salary-scale-monthly-net-salaries-of-ministries-departments-agencies-in-nigeria/ .

This is public. Now imagine CMDs for private hospitals. Are these people not high up the societal ladder? Yet #15 million is not something they would cough up easily.

You can keep pretending to be Nairaland Dangotes.

BlueRayDick:
If by CMD , u mean a person who runs a makshift dispensary/clinic inside one rural area in the outskirts of Lagos, u may be right.

However, if u are saying a Chief Medical Director of a private hospital that has doctors, nurses, cleaners, sonographers, Lab Technologist, etc under his payroll does not earn N10m annually, I'm afraid you don't know what you are talking about.
Google and take averages. On salary websites, including posts on LegitNG and, BusinessDay, I think. I had to research.

Tell us how much they earn with proof.

When Ibom Air launched in 2019, you could by a Business Class ticket for #42,000. Economy was #31,000. Cheap.
Now?

In 2019, you could fill a tank with less than #10,000 at #185 per litre. How many people are complaining about filling tanks today?

How many can put up #15 million without feeling it today?

See, I can easily posture or go with the flow like everyone else, acting like money means little. A few pictures here and there, but to what end?

Five or ten pages from now, we'd move on from the random bantering but this is a reoccurring issue.

How many of you resident in Nigeria passively edging him on can afford that #15 million in cash without feeling it? No?

Men should be able to tell themselves truths. But, no, you are swimming in money.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 3:56pm On May 19, 2025
TheFlint1, I didn't want to quote you because of the bot.

That's the point. Inflation which isn't matching income on a national scale has made many things luxurious.

A bag of rice was #8,000 in 2013. Even students could afford it. It's increased by at least 1200% today.

A tricycle was #300,000 in 2013 but #2.5 million today - the cost of a good car then.

A Chief Medical Director in Lagos today earns less than #10 million annually. A CMD, in Lagos of all places! How many months does he have to save to afford a #15 million car?

It's about the amount, not the car.

It doesn't matter though. You are all Omah Lays on this thread charging that amount per night for a small music show.

The Nigerian President's salary is #14 million annually. The highest office in the land. Let's forget about the other monetary sources and focus on just his basic salary.

Our GCFR's annual salary can't buy a #15 million car.

What's the salary of a Nigerian professor? Alright, what about about a Permanent Secretary? It's less than #7 million.
These people would be considered elitist in Nigeria but a #15 million car is a luxury for them.

Let's leave the back-and-forths for a minute to address a real societal issue.

A #15 million car is a luxury for both all three of them but on this Nairaland thread, it's nothing.

Everyone on Nairaland is Otedola? Let's keep pretending.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 2:55pm On May 19, 2025
Given Nigeria's economic state, a #15 million car is a luxury. A car, not a house.

You can pretend to be online Dangotes but when you go offline, we know #15 million isn't what anyone coughs up just like that. But you are wary of antagonizing him with the truth.

Luxury is something considered expensive compared to economic state.

#15 million isn't something you'd cough up for those resident in Nigeria on this thread.
Whatever you can't afford twice is a luxury.

But let's pretend. smiley

By the way, I had to revisit the luxury car back-and-forth.

Yes, a #15 million car is considered luxury in a country where more 70% live below the poverty line, less than 90% have #500,000 in their bank accounts, and the minimum wage isn't #70,000 uniformly.

How many of you earn #2 million monthly here? Even if you do, it's almost 8 months of your salary untouched. If you have to save up for months, it's a luxury!

How many drive #15 million cars here? Resident in Nigeria, that is.

#15 million is about $12,000. In climes where annual salaries are less than $40,000 annually, it's something.

You live in Nigeria, work everyday jobs and gigs but you think #15 million on a car - not a landed property - is so cheap?

Who exactly are we deceiving? You are all high-flying ballers in hundreds of millions of liquidity? Well, it's Nairaland with a veil of anonymity - you can all claim to be Dangote surrogates here.

You are trying to buy your way back into the comity of men. Here's how you tried to do so:

1. Returned to antagonize. You were exposed. You left then returned months later.

2. You became an APC critic. Of course you knew most of us as sympathetic to such posts so you kept warming your way.

3. Weeks later you declare you need an alternative form of money to do a giveaway on Nairaland anonymously. Ibime, Sean and others advised you, and you mentioned you'd do so soon. People were beginning to warm up to you.

4. Weeks later you made claim you turned down a political appointment out of the blues. The confidence trick was working.

5. In a few weeks, you asked Semid4lyfe to act as an es-crow on Nairaland for a transaction. You studied him well to know he would get involved in such a deal which has ruined reputations on Nairaland, especially as a moderator. You didn't ask anyone else.

6. You continued with your government criticism.

7. Having thought you've warmed your way back in, you got confident to a regular.

You're acting like you didn't have a post history before the Akpabio/Natasha situation.
Who dug up a post from another thread and section of me insisting with an analogy that even when a powerful politician asks for my professional services, I insist on 70% upfront or I turn them down?

Ibime mentioned he did a gig for a federal minister on this thread. Several times. No problem.

Airmark mentioned he executed a contract for the Kano State Government. Several times. No problem.

OasisX mentioned executing a contract for a South West state government last year. Applause and congratulations. Some of you tapped into it

Diss Troy hints at the circles he's walks in albeit contextually to state he holds them accountable to their faces regardless. Then him ensuring development and peace in his ancestral part of the Niger Delta with no personal material gain. "He's bragging! Fre-aking braggart!"

No. The problem really started with me defending Akpabio based on unfounded accusations. Then came the gaslighting of being paid by him even though, antecedently, nobody has exposed his misdeeds constantly on Nairaland more than I do. Those who asked for evidence were in the minority and I religiously pursued the case like a set target.

Next came the supposed #15 million luxury car gift manufactured out of nowhere.

We need to set the records straight for most parts.

Whether it's the downtrodden or false accusations, most of you do not understand insisting on the right thing even without inducements.

If it pisses you off, take it as a challenge. Do what I have always been canvassing for:
1. Hold your leaders accountable and actionably so, and;
2. Inconvenience yourself to effect the societal changes you seek in Nigeria or wherever you find yourself.

It's another week and you'd recline in your chair to criticize, piling on pages upon pages, while doing nothing about it. What is your contribution to society?

If you can brag about an internet connectivity device like Starlink on this thread, I can brag about developing Nigeria. We all know which is more of an achievement on a societal scale.

I don't. It's in the public domain.

Posting it in another group with some persons in government circle last week was how I discovered a former governor embezzled billions meant for host communities when a representative of the oil companies called me privately on WhatsApp. I say these things publicly.

Oh! You're trying to gaslight me? You spent yesterday trying to prove I am a government stooge but when the facts are being revealed knowing who I really am and you can't hide your, what, jealousy?

Here's me taking the fight to oil companies (legally, of course), insisting on them properly compensating communities for lands lost to pipe laying and oil exploration.

You can see youth leaders entrusting me to address the in justices and anomaly and a voicenote appealing for peace while I continue to interface between communities and oil and gas coys.

You can also see one of the youth leaders enjoining me to continue shunning inducements as I have been offered juicy amounts and other offers to look the other way.

These are the risks I take daily and the many material things I could have been gifted easily if only I looked the other way but I insist on the right thing.

Yet armchair analysts on this thread think they can hold a candle to my light? The nerve!

Nice story and photos.
Good.

Always remember never to compare yourself with me. You rant daily on Nairaland being pessimistic about the country.

I actively hold leaders accountable, ensure the changes I want seen with my money, fund developmental drives and ensure foreign coys in Nigeria operate peacefully for more for more
Foreign Direct Investments, walk with the high and mighty, and turn down inducements to subjugate the will of the people.

Forget Nairaland or the banter we do occasionally, I am socio-politico-economically more impactful than you are. When you've achieved what I have achieved on a societal scale and when your kings and elected leaders praise you publicly for helping better lives of others, we can revisit this conversation. smiley
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 10:55pm On May 18, 2025
Everyday you come on Nairaland and cuss out Nigeria. You know every wrong there is and every fault line. Yet you do not. Government this, government that. What have you done, Diggz?

I, on the other hand, I am actively involved in changing the country for the better; at the LGA, Senatorial District and state levels.

Let's say state and Senatorial district levels are too dispersed, what have you done for your LGA? There are 777 LGAs in Nigeria, and if we each help develop them at our pace, we'd be better off as a country.

You are also from the Niger Delta. There is youth restiveness where you hail from, the crime is high, and expatriates are unsafe while oil pipeline vandalism is the norm. Yet you are on Nairaland typing away and being an arm chair critic.

How dare you compare yourself to me? How dare you? What can your people say about you at the LGA and state levels? Just another arm chair critic on Nairaland and pessimist? Or, like me, hailed at building the Nigeria he dreams about without monetary inducements?

Show us how you have improved lives of your people like I do regularly. Just once.

Whatever my expenditure for the new week would be, I am already budgeting to spend more next month for another phase of training and even lodging the indigent amongst the participants.

Can your people go to war for you? Mine have and would out of pure love.

By next month, you'd still be wailing about all the societal ills and at the time I'd be actively changing all of the things I want to see in society.

If we both pass on today, I know what would be on my epitaph and how many lives I touched in my own capacity.
You? "He loved to show off and brah, and was pessimistic without doing anything to change society."

Forget frequenting the same thread, you'd never understand being contented or not being greedy. You'd never understand not betraying entire communities for personal gain.

Nairaland is a leveler anyway. Else what would give an Ogbono thief who steals pictures from the internet to impress like Elder0001 and crying to faceless girls to give him attention the impetus to join in when I am being mentioned. smiley
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m):
Akwa Ibom produces more oil than other states yet there's no pipe line vandalism, and threats to expatriates. Individuals like me who come from oil producing areas are spending our personal monies to ensure peace. We are placating youths and helping translate laws and settle issues with oil companies and youths. We are not paid for it.

We took a break for a week and by next month, we are importing equipments for training young people in the oil and gas industry and helping them get jobs and making investment safe. Why do you think FDI in these areas have increased in recent years? It's the safety and peace. In turn, oil revenue goes to the FG and federating units.

You want to see screenshots of me calling out specific politicians, a governor, and traditional rulers who have embezzled the about #200 billion paid to host communities just a month ago? You want to see screenshots of being invited by traditional rulers for a discussion? You want texts by politicians in the opposition praising my sacrifice?

After all of these, those of you who haven't done anything to change Nigeria accuse me risking my safety and losing out on juicy opportunities because I can't resist addressing injustice and insist on the right things done? How insulting!

On this same thread, I mentioned I was contacted in July 2020 to head the Secretariat of the Third Force which produced Obi in 2022. https://www.nairaland.com/7186774/epl-chatroom-all-discussions/1083#119426641

I mentioned Pat Utomi before anyone on this thread knew he was in the picture, and why Kwankwaso wouldn't team up with Obi when folks were asking for a merger. I gave hints of inner details that weren't public.

The role required me to move to Abuja all-expense paid but I turned it down. Alhaji Yunusa Tanko who is the Obi/Obidient spokesperson wasn't even in the picture then. I turned down the role because I'd rather focus on tech and startups. I can share a message from 2020 to this effect.

I turned down an appointment in the Tinubu administration last year too for similar reasons and because I couldn't see myself defending what I do not believe in. I can share a WhatsApp chat with names cropped out telling the contact person respectively I wouldn't take up the offer. We still remain close and I handle certain confidential professional matters in my areas of specialty once in a while. Yes, the person is also connected to Akpabio but my ideals are rigid sort of.

Remember in December 2022 when we had a tiff and you bragged but I countered even if you got the Police involved I wouldn't sleep a day in cell and I'd activate my contact list right on this thread? You thought I was joking?

I have always been connected to the high and powerful. I just don't show off for most parts until it's absolutely necessary. And I am bold enough to tell them the truth. At least now you've confirmed I have consistently admitted this over the years.
