I am shocked to the marrow at those saying there are better rice out there. OFC there will be better quality rice but the worst quality of rice we have should be good enough for consumption and the rice on his feed is not.

How will the politicians or govt agencies do the needful, when all people could say is, there are better rice out there? rather than praise this guy for bringing this to the fore. We are really curse with mediocrity like he said.

What´s the purpose of this crowd? Why do people like gathering after such bad incident? Are they there to see the Govt, commiserate with the victims or what?

good one. Nursery and primary + Secondary school projects should be the Nr. 1 priority of all level of govt in the country. Even if only 80% of Nigerians get secondary school education, our standard will improve 100 folds.

We do need the penal code for these set of people really. The crime is more lucrative than the punishment, which explains the increase in the number of kidnapping taking place. And the kidnappers kill 50% of their victims if not more. They deserve no less.

Sleep over cell for what? Are you the Judge, prosecutor and juror? What is the reason for the man to sleep in the cell? From your account of event, and his apology which confirmed he is guilty of damaging your property, i don´t see any reason why he should sleep in the cell. All he need do is pay for the repairs and if he default, a court can decide what to do with him.

It´s only in Nigerian that people can threaten others with sleeping in Cell because the Police let money decides and not the Law.

As much as i could see the considerable effort (articles) you put into backing your stance, please tell me how you came up with the bolded deduction? what gave me away as a Muslim? For believing that all Nigerians should be treated equally regardless of tribe, religion or place of location? Why is DSS still wasting time going to court? They will still disobey court order if the ruling is not favorable to them. The judiciary is a mockery because those that should obey and uphold the rulings are not even doing so.

IMO, this is the best way to curb car smuggling in the country. When the car dealers know they will be raided, then they will import through the right channels. The customs should sustain this and don´t let the few corrupt officials derail such actions.
