Too many theories but the reality is that Northern leaders and elites are selfish and insincere. Selfish because all they care for are themselves, wives and numerous children. Insincere because they (including Sanusi and Shehu Sani) do opposite of what they preach.

Look, North has massive arable lands and intimidating youthful population but there is no well-designed and effectively-implementable programs to modernize agriculture by involving the restless young able-bodied men.

Talking about collapsed industries, from Independence including the military era till today, Nothern people have prominently featured in successive government and of course looted generously. They have also monopolized government cashcow agencies like NPA, Customs, NNPC, PET, NIMASA, etc. This implies that they can't say they their people lacked capital to set up industries to employ people but they always have other selfish ideas.

I did my NYSC camp in Wudil, Kano and my PPA in Safana, Katsina, so I am not blabbing. I am not saying other parts of Nigeria are Eldorado but the case of the North is pitiable because unlike Niger Delta that oil exploration destroyed their environment, Northern Nigetria has their leaders to blame and perhaps that's why they are holding to their cojones via banditry.

North problem also touches the south too but not like the North's own.
The major problem is a knowledge, education problem.
Investment in quality education.
Educating the citizens
All as a result of vision less leadership

All the developing countries that are improving there economies invested massively in quality education.

7 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

.1 The law of first mention. Tithe was mentioned first in the Bible when Abraham' met Melchizedek from the slaughter of the kings. Abraham was not under the law. Bible said Abraham believed God and it was counted for him as righteousness


2 Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek

3. Verse 7 the lesser is blessed by the greater. Melchizedek was greater than Abraham so he blessed him

4. Who was Melchizedek verse 3 told us he had no father or mother was like the son of God. Melchizedek was Jesus before his incarnation

5. Verse 9 Levi who was to collect tithes from his brethren paid tithe to Melchizedek when he was still in the loins of his father Abraham.
Tithe was instituted before the law because Levi represented the law


5. There where two priesthood order.
Aaron represented the old order, while Melchizedek represented the new order. Which the book of Hebrews quoted where it says though art a priesthood after the order of Melchizedek


6. Jesus is our highpriest today in new testament as quoted in heavens Hebrews 4



Tithing presided the law

Ask him whether Abraham was under the law when he paid tithe to Melchizedek?
He is quoting law of Moses which came over 500years after the pateiachs have died
