Uncle femi was trying to sue for peace but she wasn't able to hulble herself. That's the main cause of divorce these days. In the olden days. You've been there done that and know it's not a pleasant experience. It will shake your mind to its roots, and lead to depression, self condemnation and heavy frustration real quick. I read a story on Nairaland some days ago I think, a graduate in the North that tore his certificates and credentials just because he had tried for long but couldn't land a job. Clearly he's frustrated and depressed in his mind, and to the public that's a very stupid thing to do but unfortunately, that's his own way of dealing with his demons and he's not thinking straight, and that's his own reaction to his frustrated and depressed state. Some people will drink and drink when they are depressed, some women will sleep around with different guys, some will get wayward and start doing sh*t they never used to do, some men will become dull and indifferent like someone who took weed and just be staring into empty space, some will try to ignore and live in denial and try to detach from reality by doing other casual things and you will wonder that this guy that lost money shouldn't he be out there hustling and he's sitting down watching movie. Well, that's his own way of dealing with his demons. Some will start gambling, some will lose their cool and get violent, some will be crying and sober, and some will talk themselves out of it and shake it off, some will rely on their support system ( family, friends, colleagues etc) to help them get through the phase. But whichever the case, it is a trying period. They say you don't kick a man who's already down. This is his down moment, if you can't help him get back up, then no wahala, but don't try to bury him to the ground cuz he is down.

Men really need to wake up, husbands especially. As you are sacrificing your all, crossing the oceans, giving your best years and best strength just to make your wife and family live the best life, remember to take care of yourself and put plenty money away. You can buy recharge cards for your wife for 5 years and nobody will know, but the moment she buys you recharge card for 2 weeks, she will publicize your matter on CNN. You can be providing for all her needs and the families needs for 15 years but the moment you can't and she has to help out for 2 months, she will disgrace you in the community, as if you were never a provider, as if you never foot the bill all those years that she was enjoying your money. Most of them are like this. Only few women understand loyalty, and only few women understand and will abide by the marriage oath of for better or worse that they took. Most of them are only interested in the for better, what they can take from you, the benefits they can reap, but God forbid let the tables turn, and for worse happens, most of them will be quick to demonize their husbands and subject him to public ridicule and shame. So husbands have to learn how to have contingency plans for themselves in case of the hard times, because this life is unpredictable with good and bad, ups and downs. We can only try our best and hope for the best.

Going through all the comments here and all the things in my head, I get more confused.
It will be simple and easy for me to sleep peacefully and don't even woke up again. All this failure, problem in my life will not border me again after, I have tried. I know my son will be okay.

How on Earth can I allowed a man who has hurt me that much, here in infront of me. With all the way I have suffered and I'm still struggling to establish my business because I don't have a job, I'm not rich, my family is not rich.
I have met couple of people I should have willing get married to, but I declined.

Now the only thing I can do is allowing this same guy around me without any positive contributions.
The only reason I have is: my son need his father, I saw the kind of boldness, courage he shows among his friends for this few days, and it makes me happy that he's happy.

Two years ago, I wanted to get married, this new guy was all over me. He was fully in my son's Life. We were so much in love. But we couldn't get married because I caught him with a habit which I wouldn't want to disclose publicly. And he couldn't stopped the habit, so I quit the relationship and returned his ring.

Since then, I've been so sceptical about getting emotional with any man. And my son have equally been all by himself. It took him a long time to be able to forget about the new guy. Which really hurt me.

Right now, I feel I have really tried, just that I have also been a total failure, I couldn't work out my life as well, otherwise, what kind of ignorance would keep me down for this years.
