yet the Bible says you should follow the authority, follow the governor order. Don't be a defiant
I was pointing out to you your errors
Governments from times of old has murdered prophets, men and people of God.
Even during biblical times
Example Jezebel the wife of a king of Israel Ahab in one fell swoop murdered 450 prophets of God.

But God judged the house of Ahab
All there descendants were completely wiped out
Jezebel was judged
Dogs ate her up
See God is a consuming fire

God may not touch you before
Because He is so merciful
But once the cup of a person's
Sins full
Complete wrath will fall on the person or his lineage

The Bible say it's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God

That's why people are always wanted
They will be shining
And think they will get away with it
Except they repent
When the wrath of God comes
There will be no where to hide

That's the way it will be on the last day
The day of the Lord
Sinners will have no place to hide
Even the rulers of the earth.

Psalms 91 talked about it:

Unfortunately, u weren't able to identify any quote he said he was against d lockdown. Am also glad that u said he "challenged the legality of the lockdown".

Pls read this:

“Constitutional lawyers and our elected representatives should kindly step into this and educate us, mere lay minds. The worst development I can conceive of us is to have a situation where rational measures for the containment of the Coronavirus pandemic are rejected on account of their questionable genesis.

“This is a time for Unity of Purpose, not nitpicking dissensions. So, before this becomes a habit, a question: does President Buhari have the powers to close down state borders? We want clear answers. We are not in a war emergency.

“Appropriately focussed on measures for the saving lives, and committed to making sacrifices for the preservation of our communities, we should nonetheless remain alert to any encroachment on constitutionally demarcated powers. We need to exercise collective vigilance, and not compromise the future by submitting to interventions that are not backed by law and constitution."

In summary, if d lockdown has constitutional backing then it is OK. If it doesn't, then it isn't ok
I don't like long argument. If it doesn't have constitutional backing then it's not OK.

Whether OK or not the government did the right thing. By ordering the lock down.

Bill Gates was speaking yesterday that America missed the chance to lock down early.
Now it will take the US next 10 weeks to even stabilize the predicament. And you can guess the number of death, it will leave on its wake. May God have mercy on them.

The government did the right thing.
They should only ensure that there is effective and adequate measures in supporting the citizens.

This is d entire article with several quotes from d professor. Pls identify those quotes where he said he was against d lockdown:

Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has questioned the legality of the lockdown ordered by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

The PUNCH reports that Buhari had on Sunday ordered the lockdown of Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.

But Soyinka in a statement on Monday wondered if the president has the power to order such lockdown.

The Nobel laureate called on constitutional lawyers and lawmakers to clarify the legality or illegality of the lockdown.

He also warned against “constitutional piracy” in the fight against coronavirus in the country.

The statement, titled ‘Between COVID and Constitutional Encroachment’, read in part, “Constitutional lawyers and our elected representatives should kindly step into this and educate us, mere lay minds.

We need to exercise collective vigilance, and not compromise the future by submitting to interventions that are not backed by law and constitution.

“Who actually instigates these orders anyway? From where do they really emerge? What happens when the orders conflict with state measures, the product of a systematic containment strategy – `including even trial-and-error and hiccups – undertaken without let or leave of the Centre. So far, the anti-COVID-19 measures have proceeded along the rails of decentralised thinking, multilateral collaboration and technical exchanges between states.

“The Centre is obviously part of the entire process, and one expects this to be the norm, even without the epidemic’s frontal assault on the Presidency itself. Indeed, the Centre is expected to drive the overall effort, but in collaboration, with extraordinary budgeting and refurbishing of facilities.

“The universal imperative and urgency of this affliction should not become an opportunistic launch pad for a sneak RE-CENTRALISATION, no matter how seemingly insignificant its appearance. I urge governors and legislators to be especially watchful. No epidemic is ever cured with constitutional piracy. It only lays down new political viruses for the future.”
Challenge the legality of the lock down is what?

It is a good thing that the tribalism, double standards, anti-Nigerian disposition and wickedness of Igbos is now being exposed because of this Corona Virus.

Who would have thought these Igbos who attacked Tinubu so mercilessly and relentlessly over not donating to support the efforts against Covid-19 will now be the same people passionately defending Obi for doing exactly what they hounded Tinubu for?

Suddenly "donation is by choice" whereas they did not remember to offer that mitigation for Tinubu.

Now "Obi is too smart to donate money that will be embezzled" but such never crossed their mind when they attacked Tinubu.

I was even banned for defending Tinubu and Yorubas against the hypocritical attacks of Igbos they thought they had successfully masked as 'concern for Nigeria' .

It is the foolish Yorubas I pity if they can't see what Igbos are and ronu. To every smart and aware Nigerian, the antics of Igbos over the past few days, i.e the way they hound Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani leaders mercilessly, and their behavior currently in defending Obi blindly now, just shows history did not judge Igbos incorrectly as the same highly bigoted people who partisanly murdered the leaders of others and spared their own citing all manners of excuses.

They are unrepentant doing exactly same thing now, many decades later, live and direct with not even one Igbo able to tell them their action is wrong!!!!! Does this not show this behavior is ingrained in their DNA?

It is these people some want to put in charge of Nigeria? Terrible as the Covid-19 pandemic is some benefits have still come from it as no sensible Nigerian can be in doubt who the enemies-within are, with dark intentions for all of us, that we must all begin to be wary of.

Many guys be searching for a 24yrs and below hot, sexdoll as a wife and at the same time hoping to get a financially valuable and prudent Lady to marry, that's contradiction.

You cannot be here and there at the same time. Define what matters most to you as a single man and go for that.

If you want a sex machine with big nyash and big breast, then go for it and don't expect her to be a financially valuable/prudent lady.

Ned Nwoko that married Regina knows what he wants, he is not expecting Regina Daniels to help him grow his wealth or manage his wealth, he just want her for a showoff and to promote his political ambition and brands.

So all you single guys reading, find our the qualities that matters most to you and go for them, neglect the others cos u cant have all in one lady.

But I would advice all single guys of today, in as much as u should not just go after a lady because she has money or good job or business. Please don't marry an unemployed lady who is lazy, have no selling skill, have no selling profession, only in your life to sex and give birth for you. It may have worked for men of decades ago, time have changed, global economy is no longer smiling like in the past so marry wisely.

Ask yourself, how many billionaires in the world married housewifehuh

Melinda Gates, Bill Gates wife is working. Mark Zuckerberg's wife is working. Jeff Bezos ex wife works.

US President Donald Trump's wife works.

So why must you, a struggling young man marry a lady that is financially unproductive in this time and erahuh

And to the ladies before you start thinking of getting married, please develop yourself financially, stop marrying without having your own means of livelihood, it is a bad thing to do as a single lady. Develop yourself now that you are single
Over sense dey worry you.

Women make sure you marry a man who makes good money. Then he won’t be interested in making you a source of income. He will be willing and able to provide for his family.
This looks more like a gold diggers comment.
Many successful men I know today didn't just start off making big money.
It was all about a progressive increase.
In fact many of them were initially not that buoyant and there wives married them without that much money.

I have sisters married to very wealthy men. But when those men came then, they hadn't much. But today the story is different

So like I said this is a gold diggers comment. Gold diggers rearly end up with rich men. Because they don't have the capacity to attract one. And even if by chance they do, they rearly sustain the marriage because of same lack of capacity.

It disgusts me when men try to make it seem like if a woman doesn't contribute financially, then she's good as useless.

I am really concerned about the loss of sense of responsibility from men nowadays. When did it become a taboo for you to make the money yourself and let your wife run the homefront. The Asians have been doing this for years and they're not complaining, hence why the family unit is strong and their children turn out as responsible adults and contribute meaningfully to their family and society at large.

You guys make it seem like marriage is some kind of business venture.if not for anything, be a man for your children, they need a parent to look after them at least in their tender years.

Have you not seen homes were both husband and wife are financially well to do but the children are nothing to write home about.

A woman can support at times financially but you going into a relationship looking for a woman who you'll share bills with just shows the quality of a man that you are.
No one goes into any relationship looking for a woman that will share bill.
But I have personally seen the benefits of having a working woman.

My mum retired as a director in the civil service of my state. I know the level of financial benefits my family and I personally got from her.
Her younger sister is presently a director in federal government and I personally know huge benefits her family is gaining from her.

Having a working woman as a wife has a very good advantage to a man.
Ngozi okonjo iweala, late Dora Akunyili, Ibukun Awosika, Folorunsho Alakija are all peoples wife. And these women have achieved great things more than many men. There husbands supported them.

I agree with you op. Before I went for my NYSC there is a married old man in my area that gave me an advice that during NYSC there will always be opportunity but people do fail to see it. That's it's after NYSC people will be realising those opportunities they've missed. I payed careful attention to this warning by making sure I applied for every opportunity coming my way then. Even some that required NYSC certificate and it worked for me. Fast forward to after my NYSC, I went back to thank him for the advice. He now said he'll offer me another one. I said I'm listening He said "never marry a lady that is not earning any income to complement you". He said it's very important I keep to it. The man must have been talking from experience. Another reason Is that a working woman knows the value of money. Because she stresses to get it, even if small, she will value it.

But a non working and earning woman doesn't appreciate the value of money.

Practical example is dating a non working woman to a working woman. Non working woman doesn't appreciate money given her because she doesn't appreciate

Don't mind that guy. He has been asking very annoying question.
I don't support every policy of the president but he is right on this one.

Anyone asking foolish question should check why Asia from where the disease emerged are managing the situation better than economically advanced western nations.

There was a lock down of some cities in Asian countries, and the citizens obeyed the lock down. Thereby the effect and death toll was highly reduced.

But take Italy for instance. At the beginning the Italian government locked down the province of Lombardy where the thing was prevalent But Italians didn't obey it. Some ran to the southern province and before you know it. It has spread the entire country and today look at the terrible death toll.

Likewise us and UK didn't tackle the issues in time, analysts are warning that there death toll will rise to Italy level.

The President took a very wise advice. Since the virus has not spread much, a 14days lock down will mitigate the spread in these high incidence cities of Lagos, Abuja.

Prof got this one very wrong.

Perhaps I should have clarified it for you, the more people spend and depend on a currency the higher its economic value. There is a reason the Dollar is still preferred over the British Pound and the reason is simple, more people spend and transact(60% of all foreign reserves is in USD) with it than the Pound. Any government can wake up and choose to restructure their currency heck 1 Naira can be 1 Dollar tomorrow but if the Naira is not accepted as a valid excahnge currency abroad and depended upon by more people then Naira will gradually drop in value to match its economic reality. This is exactly what is happening to the Cedi, from 1.5 Cedi=1 Dollar in 2010, now it is 1 Cedi=5.7 Dollars. I agree with you the relationship might not be linear but a relationship exists nonetheless! I hope an educated idiot like yourself can see the light now and stop running around in your own shadow grin grin. I know you want to sound so intelligent but between the foul language and the msiguided snetiments, I don't know whether to laugh at you or pity you grin grin
The bolded is one serious misinformation and fallacy. You want to talk like Buhari who said he will make 1 Naira equal $1.

No country can just manipulate there money. Each countries monetary policy is run by its Central Bank.
Currencies are either pegged or floats against the dollar.

If you Peg then the country must use her foreign reserve to fight keeping the currency from going under. Like Nigeria has been using her foreign reserve to fight keeping the currency from going under.
The CBN Sells dollar every week to shore up the Naira.

As at this morning the dollar is going for 396 to the dollar. Why? CBN due to low income coming in as a result of low oil revenue cannot use it's scarce depleting foreign reserve to keep Naira from falling so Naira will definitely fall.

Then for floating the currency is allowed to find its Natueal level, if Naira is allowed to take its natural cause without any intervention by the CBN, it may reach 800 or even 1000 to the dollar.

The Japanese, South Korean, even Chinese money are allowed to fall very low to the dollar because these are totally exporting nations. The lower there currencies, the cheaper there goods in the global markets, the more exports they do.

As for western nations or the Anglo Saxons and there cousins in European Union . They have been controlling the global finance since the end of Second World War. That's why the Brentwood institutions, IMF, World Bank are being controlled by them. So there currencies are the dominant ones in the globe.

You can't eat your cake and still have it. What caused the sanctions? Is it not terrorism and thoughtless actions by their leaders? The same thing the Iranian is accusing Buhari of condoning. Which brings me back to my original statement, kettle cannot call pot black, take it or leave it, hypocrisy will not be tolerated!
Sanction is because of nuclear power build up. The west doesn't want them to have nuclear capabilities.
Obama even removed the sanctions when they agreed to his deal. Gave them over 150billiiion dollars of there money.
Even allowed them to sell oil again.
But the Saudis were not happy.

Trump came and removed the deal and increased the sanctions.

I keep telling you to do your research but you are bent on being ignorant so I will do the research for you:

I love how people like you want to compare Iran with Nigeria but shy away from comparing them to their neighbors like Lebanon and Saudi. Yo uwould rather compare a nation of 82 million with that of over 200 million. A nation with a significantly higher educated populace than that of a nation where majority of the people don't go to college. Which brings us back to what this discussion was about, an Iranian calling out a Nigerian president for NOT DELAING WITH TERRORIST, NOT USING PROPER GRAMMAR & NOT TAKING THINGS SERIOUSLY. Well, if anyone is going to criticize the Nigerian president shouldn't it be those whose countries are not dealing with similar issues? Terrorism, religious conflicts, economic depression sounds familiar? I've educated you enough for today, any further argument is just a waste of my time!
The link you posted there does not in any way support your claim.
It's even talking about the effect of sanction on Iran.

If you read through that article there economy contracted by 4.8perxent because of the sanctions.

The article even quoted Iran's OPEC quota of 3.8milliion barrels per day of crude sales. They have more oil sales per day than Nigeria but can't sell because of sanctions.

Iran has better GDP than Nigeria
nominal GDP 458 billion dollars. Purchasing power parity of 1.4 trillion dollars.
Life expectancy 77years

Your link even corroborated my argument
