babaYIBO: I’ve been dating this girl since early last year when I was still serving and she’s really into me. She doesn’t bill me unless I purposely send her something. And we occasionally hangout a lot too.
By mid last year, I brought her home to meet my mum and some of my siblings. My mum likes her so much and she would spend time with me in our house.
I finished my service around September last year, and I started hunting for job. I was taking online classes etc..
So I got a job earlier this year, and the pay isn’t bad. Only my mum knows how much I’m earning and few friends. My girl doesn’t know.
Now, I’m likely to be getting a pay rise this month.
I’m also planning to get married to this girl next year, hopefully, she’s been a good girl even when I was jobless.
I don’t know if it’s okay to let her know my salary range. Although I’d not be telling her specifically the amount.
Is this a good idea?
There’s a reason men are always told not to let women know all their forms of income😂. Hopefully you tell her how much you earn so you can learn the hard way. After all they say experience is the best teacher lol
Rutherford2019: Tinubu is preparing for a rerun and that's why he's meeting with Kwankwaso to solicit for Kano votes But Tinubu is not qualified to run and 2ndly APC has no candidate because of Shettima double nomination
Primeblog: Civil Society Organizations have reacted angrily to allegations that the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, is contemplating a 10-month study leave.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, requested the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), “not to approve any study leave or any other kind of leave for any officer critical to the take-off of the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”/
As much as all these yeye governors and the so called Emefiele are the same, I support and commend their action on this. Elemiwere/ Elemiewele is just trying to run away without handing over and give full details of what occurred during his tenure.
If you think it's desperation rather than a positive declaration, then change your mindset.
When Tinubu said almost same thing, you all started shouting on all social media, but since it’s obi now, it’s all good.
I don talk am say we deserve the leaders we get in this country. You all don’t see all these politicians for what they really are. Not one amongst them is what they proclaim to be
Fabulozz: As titled above. I made the worst mistake in my life impregnating my baby mama for the second time. She and her mother had given me so much trouble in the past. I don't even know what came out of me to start sleeping with her again. Boom she is pregnant and has refused to abort.
She want me to pay her brideprice or else she will tell my wife. If only I had control my manhood I would have not found myself in this terrible situation.
What should I do now mature advice please?
Werey say mistake When you Dey do the do, you no sabi?
Neighbors rescue little girl in terrible state from her "madam"
While narrating her ordeal, the little girl named Idinma said her madam punished her this way because she mistakingly fell the baby she was taking care of
#wetindeyhappenTV
A baby maltreated for falling a baby? The madam should be prosecuted!
Karlovych: Even their monarchs have all turned to agberos, Awo must be rolling in his grave for what these people have become. This was not the plan he had for them despite backstabbing the entire country just to give them an edge, spits!
othermen: Take advantage of the boy?? The boy took advantage of a sane environment. But I think it’s just terrible to cheer the family’s misfortune. The family could have erred, and their inactions or refusal to use their influence in the past, may have cost lives, that they should deserve our utter contempt- but we shouldn’t mock them nonetheless.
Of coz, they are likely to understate the consequences when discussing with him, but let us assume they didn’t and instead, they explained to the boy very well, what the long-term effects could be.
Of coz, there shouldn’t have been any monetary incentive, but I think many would be willing to support such a request, with cash or other supporting incentives. (A crime ??)
Let us assume, the family that needs a donor thought so too. For the donor, could the monetary or other incentive be more propelling or compelling at the onset? Let us assume it was.
His kidney was going to be yanked, he wouldn’t give that without a promise for exchange of another reward. Let us assume the boy was naïve, and he was underpriced.
If he wasn’t underpriced, and the supposed donor wasn’t short on intelligence. Could the donor experience decisional regret? Of coz he could. In fact, recent studies on decisional regret among donors, indicate that younger age and lower education are predictors of regret. So regret was an item and when it was time for the procedure, it became more stark. So stark, that the ‘affective’ theatrics couldn’t help; of coz, he knew that it was only because of the transplant, that anyone cared. Such reflection on the expectation of care can be sufficient to create an utter dissonance and complete turnabout.
After this, the Ekweremadu’s probably couldn’t keep him any longer, the promises of reward or the reward given were withdrawn; he is to return to wherever or whatever condition he was from, with his kidney. They were probably others as well, putting pressure on him, invested in all of it, with a rebuke for the boy.
So, what could he have done? Now, we know he is not likely returning to that condition he came from and he’s still got his kidney. In a year or two, his family would be with him in the UK.
Was Ekweremadu naïve and exploitative? Perhaps. Was he an organ trafficker? Then, he must be foolish as well to have decided to have the transplant in a standard hospital in the UK, and not in Iran or some shady place, where the donor’s consent is not required.
And the boy(supposed donor) was referred to as ‘that guy’ by ekweremadu, that’s unfair on the boy. If ekweremadu had done what is right by helping Nigeria health system he wouldn’t have fallen this low. Don’t pity Nigeria politicians, pity the boy who was giving 270k naira for his organ, if it were you, would you take it? Funny after they found the kidney mismatched they started making process of returning him to Nigeria
Iamicekid: U and ur parents are mad, with all the money they have stolen, for them to go through the legal way of organ donation they don’t want to cause they will spend atleast half a million dollars upward, they want to cut costs without caring about the boy it will affect, they deserve everything, dem heartless to the point that the boy they wan steal him kidney, dem no fit do 2years visa for am, Na 6months dem do, they wan use am send am back make him come dey suffer while unna go dey enjoy
Na why I no pity them at all, they don’t deserve the pity people are giving them. If they were successful with the dastardly act they wanted to commit and the boy later open up to the public about what happened , I’m pretty sure they will make the boy disappear or better still make us believe he’s lying.
Omihanifa: When can't thesame ekweremadu use his influence when he was in the senate for 23 year to make the government build at least one good hospital in the country. All they know how to do is to loot. Do you know how many people that have died as a result of our bad health care system?
Nigeria politicians will be behaving as if nothing can ever happen to them but see where this one end up.
Ordinary palliatives For the masses they will hoard it and watch people die of hunger. They don't know what people go through because of their actions, now let him go and have a taste of emotional trauma, anxiety, lack of freedom and bullying for 10 years and see if his brain will not reset.
You spoke my mind, thank you 🙏. Was telling someone about this here 2 days ago and about the ekweremadu’s not deserving any pity from we Nigerians cause he was a former senate president who could have influenced a good and well equipped hospital, but he chose not to and now he’s paying for it
Realhommie: It's a valid question... We don't deserve mercy because we traffick organs only.
You definitely have either cheated someone in the past, told a lie/deceit, cursed at someone, done one wrong or the other whether it's criminal as in the eyes of the law or it's moral as in religion but a wrong or sin or offence as some may say. If so now tell me what makes you different from the Ekweremadu himself? Even a murderer deserves mercy. In as much as you're imperfect you're not better than the murderer really.
I am speaking from religious point as a Christian....
I’m also a Christian but justifying or equating an organ trafficker with a liar needs to be reviewed, it just doesn’t fly. 🙇♂️
RightToReject: The funny thing about this news - the myopic stance of the husband notwithstanding - is that the people involved are of the South West extraction; yet, within a twinkle of an eye, you'll see the hypocritically disingenuous lot of the same extraction striving to make the world believe that it's the people of the South East extraction that do have misgivings where a woman gives birth to female children only thereby ascribing myopia to them while appropriating scrupulousness, sophistication and/or liberalism to themselves.
In this man's case, it is better to imagine than witness what he would have done, assuming that the wife did not give birth to even a single male.
Calm down a little ser. Oyah, type in a language I understand because all those big grammar want to destroy my brain😪
Realhommie: That's not the point. I'm not a fan of them politicians but they're also humans who aren't perfect just like you and I... Because we're all not infallible, everyone deserves mercy regardless of their past or crime.
I'm not saying he shouldn't be punished for his offences btw.
Personally to me, he doesn’t deserve any ounce of mercy! He was the deputy senate president for years, he built any reputable hospital or used his influence to make one? Nah! Wonder why? Because he knows he can always fly out for his checkups. When he needed a good hospital he went abroad and as fate and karma will have it… shii happened over there and he’s paying for it now. I repeat again he deserves no mercy!!!
