Politics › Re: Obi, Edeoga Greatest Casualties Of Nigeria’s 2023 Electoral Fraud – Labour Party by DMerciful(m): 5:52am On Jan 11, 2024 |
If Nigerians expect small LP to fight for their future but were able to protest Mohbad's death, then we're not serious BluntCrazeMan: Heyaa..
The craziest thing about all these things, is that the so-called Labour Party are still entered recent elections without doing anything to prevent or overcome or be above the so-called “Electoral Fraud”, and yet they are still going to enter into more future elections without doing anything different.
They are there busily harvesting people's money for nomination forms, and leaving them out there all alone in the cold and wilderness.
Their crazy outing in the recent Imo State Election was the Father of all Planlessness ever recorded anywhere.!! |

Thats exactly what he did to save 75 billion which is unprecedented till date. aswani: You make an excellent point, moving forwards, I expect Peter Obi to preface all his unsolicited for advice to Presidenclt Tinubu with "Like I did during my tenure as governor of Anambra state when I <Insert proof here>...."
Anything less is shameless and hypocritical grandstanding. |

Did he say their salaries should be cut or you've accept that those bogus expenses are legitimate sources of income for them? JASONjnr: Hmmm....
Well, if Tinubu tries to implement this to every aspect of his government, corruption will be in the rise as many directors and permsecs as well as mininsters and commisssioners will try to stesl more for their retirement. |

Can you point to where in the constitution? Abagworo: It is not hidden but Rivers State was created on basis of minority therefore each tribe is given full ethnic recognition to avoid dominance from the larger ones hence Kalabari, Ikwerre, Etche, Eleme, Ogoni, Okrika, Ibani, Opobo, Ogba, Ndoni, Ekpeye, Egbema, Igbo(Asa + Ndoki), Abua, Andoni etc. are distinct ethnic groups recognized by the Nigerian constitution. |

You're beating around the bush. I said if he is found culpable, he should face the law. I'm also ok if he is granted a presidential pardon but saying he should be given immunity by virtue of performance is where I disagree. In all honesty, i dont believe in going after few hundred millions when stealers of billions are walking freely. Iziquiel: You didn't have to say it categorically, we know where you stand. |
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 11:17pm On Jan 10, 2024 |
Ofcourse everyone must not be pardoned but whenever pardon is done, it should be noted as pardon and not something else. Thats if he is found culpable. JagabanB: Pardon is what I am talking about and everyone must not be pardoned to ensure "fairness" like u are suggesting. |
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 11:16pm On Jan 10, 2024 |
You're holding unto straws and you know it. Tinubu is very corrupt, Obi is not in his league of corruption so stop comparing Obi to Tinubu and his 40 thieves JagabanB: But he admitted putting state funds in banks he owns shares? Now, will u appreciate it if Tinubu does same thing? U will come out to tell us how the society needs investment rather than storing money in banks where he owns shares. |

Thats not how to run a decent society. Its not a sustainable way to run a society. You can't excuse someone for breaking the law because he is performing. If Tunji-Ojo is found culpable, he has to face the consequences unless pardoned JagabanB: We are not taIkiñg about fairness on this, we are talking about his impact and the probability of replacing him with someone who can perform better and is perfect. |
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 9:16pm On Jan 10, 2024 |

If you can point where I called for his sack I'll know you're a truthful person Iziquiel: Lol. But that has not been your position, in fact, you've already found him guilty hence, the reason you're calling for his sack.
Now, my confusion is this, why is Tunji Ojo guilty in your eyes but Obi is not when their cases are similar?
Obi claimed Next belongs to his family, that he resigned from the board before he assumed office as Governor, Tunji Ojo is also saying same thing, that he resigned from the company in 2019 and even showed the public a certified document from CAC as evidence.
So Sir, how come Ojo is guilty and Obi is not? |
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 6:35pm On Jan 10, 2024 |
The president can grant a presidential pardon if he is found culpable, thats his prerogative but to insinuate that performance should confer special immunity on him is a bad precedent. Its not even fair because you'll have to apply same treatment to all persons found culpable but performing if you wanna be fair including those in prisons JagabanB: From what he has said so far, I strongly doubt he is guiIty. There are so many damàgè controIs that can be done here, his company got a contract, revoke d contract or make them execute and make sure he doesn't get another. There's no guarantee that the replacement will be this effective and a saint, the country has endured crîmînaIs who didn't do anything, he's effective and we are all seeing that. |

Does that make it his family business? Tunji-Ojo allegedly used a shell company to syphone money from govt. Its an allegation, investigation will unravel whether true or false. This has nothing to do with Obi JagabanB: This is Obi admitting that he invested state funds into banks where he has shares. This is one of it. Would u appreciate someone in Tinubu's government doing that? |
Politics › Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by DMerciful(m): 6:29pm On Jan 10, 2024 |

What are you asking for? Georgry:

“I also invested $50million of Anambra State money in the power sector. I invested several billions in banks, including banks where I have shares. I was investing for the future of the state; it doesn’t matter whether I have shares or not. If I have the opportunity of building the future of the state, wouldn’t I have done that?"
Mr Peter Obi.
Today Obedients are asking for the head of the minister of interior, such a bizarre case of selected amnesia. |
