You only hear what you wanna hear. He never confirmed he invested state funds in his family business
Iziquiel:
You mean propaganda that your Messiah has confirmed himself on different occasions?
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 5:20pm On Jan 10, 2024
I listened to the minister on channels besides I never said he is guilty until proven. I only asked if he is guilty, should his performance confer a pardon on him?
JagabanB:
Prove that this minister is involved in the saga.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 5:17pm On Jan 10, 2024
He did not invest state funds into family business. Ptove it with a credible source and not gossip sahara reporters whose ownwr was contesting against Obi
JagabanB:
It is common knowledge everywhere that Obi invested state funds into family business.
So he's justified because he Ieft some and stoIe some?
U see the double standards now?
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 4:43pm On Jan 10, 2024
I repeat, are you saying if he is culpable, he should be forgiven? Answer the question clearly and simply
JagabanB:
Tell me which politician in the history of Nigerîà has done a córrupt act?
No country in the world where democracy is practiced u will see a top level politician that has not done a córrûpt act.
Someone working tireIessIy for the masses should be put in Iine and let off the hook, Aregbesola did nothing for 8 years, he did so many córrupt acts and nothing happened, the people dràggîñg this same minister are people whom his policies which benefits the masses is deprîvîng them of their cash 🐄.

You keep saying what you don't have details of. Obi is clean! He left over 75 billion where others were looting and leaving debt
JagabanB:
Obi is clean but used state funds to invest in family business?
If any minister in this government does that, will u say they are clean?
Politics › Re: EFCC Arraigns, Remands Former Minister Of Power And Steel, Olu Agunloye by DMerciful(m): 3:40pm On Jan 10, 2024
It has been proven that everything rises and falls on leadership. The US you're mentioning wasnt always so until they got their leadership right. China, Singapore, UAE, Malaysia, Rwanda are examples.

The West works not because the people there are inherently good but because leadership has put consequences in place.

Nigerian president is very powerful within Nigeria. If you get a man of integrity and competence there....a lot of thing will change for good.
IPIGSRHYPO:
2 percent will change a country of 200 plus million?

Too much emphasis is always placed on the guys at the top. You need low level personnel like clerks, police officers, court employees, civil servants, airport staff etc for a system to function properly. If a police man on the street is willing to accept bribe or an airport staff rather take bribe instead of doing th8jobs as expected, then theirs only so much the guys at the to can do.
The west function properly simply because a vast majority of westerners will rather fo their job than accept bribe or introduce sentiment into a situation.
Regardless of hoe they feel about a situation, they will rather follow the laid down law, even if they don't agree with with. A police officer in the US , don't make that much. In fact some make less than 30k a year in small cities but they will still do their jobs as expected.
A typical Nigerian wants to get rich quickly and thinks that he's also entitled to riches that some are enjoying hence it's ok to enrich himself by any means necessary.
Even a civil servant that enriching himself illegally doesn't see himself as a thief, he will also be complaining about the govt as if he's not part of the govt. The rot is from the bottom up, a president or Governor will not be the one to arrest and arraign a criminal on the street. You need the average worker to get the process started.

Tell me what has improved interms of standard of living since May 29, 2023?
TopBanter:
What baseless propaganda? Who does not know you as bigotedly anti-progress to the extent you are never able to see let alone praise any good initiative of the Tinubu Government.

Nothing is good about Nigeria today unless it is from your messiah Obi when the reality is that he has to join the queue and try again in 2027 meaning every decent Nigerian, wherever they may be from, should hope Tinubu can uplift our lives even if he was not their choice.

Tinubu, after 4 or 8 years, will be a failure in my eyes if he retains the self-destructive 'one Nigeria' model that keeps me in nationhood, as currently convened, with an enemy-of-progress such as yourself and your irredeemable co-travellers in hate here like Racoon, Prince Of Lagos, vanbonnatel Odin13 etal.

Nothing is more attractive to me in life today than a SW under regional governance with a great Premier as we had in Awolowo at that stage.

Living in a household or compound with haters, who wish you failure and misfortune, is a tragic and terrible way to live life.

Let Tinubu be the President brave enough to free progressive, sane and balanced people from that lunacy so your ilk can confine you bad belle, fundamentalism, sadistic vindictiveness and negative anti-progress energy to your region

Obi is clean and you know it
JagabanB:
Just Iike Obi.
No matter how he's painted.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 2:33pm On Jan 10, 2024
If truly he did a corrupt act, are you saying it should be overlooked?

JagabanB:
To some people especially obidents, this is more a political point for them but they don't know that this man remaining in office benefits them more than him leaving the office.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To President Tinubu: Tunji-ojo Needs Protection...... by DMerciful(m): 2:32pm On Jan 10, 2024
Irrespective of whether he is culpable or not?
EreluRoz:
Truth is he's the only minister working and I just hope Tinubu does not make that mistake of touching him.

I'll say 98% but 2% can change a country if the president is picked from that 2%!
IPIGSRHYPO:
Ok, I'll say 96 Percent which mathematically basically means 100%.

You hate the fact that he is too clean. You want him to be corrupt so you'll say they're all the same

Politics aside I never liked anything about Peter Obi.
Everything about him screams fake and pretense.

You're holding unto straws! Obi remains the best among his peers
DeOTR:
Soludo has not spent half of the time Obi spent in office yet.
As for the performance, at least, I've not a thread here where Anambra have wondered what exactly Soludo is doing, as it was the case of Obi.
If people objectively attested to the fact that Obi was performing poorly during his tenure, I wouldn't know why someone would disagree a decade later and try to push a different narrative.

Has Soludo performed half of Obi? Absolutely not!
DeOTR:
How did you come to the conclusion that he doesn't like him?
Let's even assume he doesn't like him, does that make him any less an authority on matters of Anambra? This is a state governor that has access to privileged information about the state more than you and I.

Well, I don't take awards given to politicians seriously. All governors in Nigeria at a point in time during their tenure have received various awards. That's not an indication of performance. It's feelers during your time that'll use to judge.

Obi received numerous awards during his time as governor. That should give you an indication of how he performed. How can you take the word of someone that does not like him as the gospel truth?
DeOTR:
A governor of a state is not an authority on the matter concerning the state he's governing? And we should take your word for it? Who are you exactly?
Politics › Re: Debt And Waste As Economic Policy – Peter Obi by DMerciful(m): 7:29pm On Jan 09, 2024

You aint smart. You're being scammed by Tinubu using Bubu's template.

Bubu reduced what? Dey play!
trutharena:
Buhari obviously reduced it from the bogus Jonathan own and Tinubu further reduced it.

So because a predecessor do something, successive government must not do further refinement?

If we check it further now, you might be an Obidient. You guys usually have low comprehension.
